DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to see and smell all the roses among the thorns. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

BORDER: While most of the Chinese students and researchers are in the United States for legitimate academic reasons, some of them are here to spy on us and steal intellectual property. On May 28, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced we will begin to “aggressively revoke” the visas of Chinese students who pose a threat and will be giving stricter scrutiny of future visa applications from China and Hong Kong.

CHINA: U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer says China has been “slow rolling their compliance” with the May 12 trade agreement, “which is completely unacceptable.” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says, “I am confident that the Chinese will come to the table when President Trump makes his preferences known.”

COURTS: A federal judge has ruled that DOGE employees who have satisfied the Training, Vetting and Mitigation Procedures may access the Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service, which is used by the federal government to distribute trillions of dollars in payments. The ruling came in response to a lawsuit filed by Democratic-led states.

The Supreme Court ruled that Trump has the authority to rescind the temporary legal status the Biden administration gave half a million “refugees” they had flown here to reduce the numbers being recorded coming across the border.

ECONOMY: Core inflation has dropped to its lowest rate in four years. Hmm … four years.

ELON: Thank you for your service, Mr. Musk.

FAFO: Megha Vemuri, the 2025 class president of MIT, gave a pro-Palestine/anti-Israel speech in which she accused her alma mater of promoting genocide. A day later, she was told she would not be allowed to participate in Friday’s graduation ceremony.

When I googled to get Bongino’s correct title, I got a taste of how the Laughing Stock Media are covering Bongino. I won’t waste your time; it’s what you would expect.

HAMAS: Israeli Omer Shem Tov, who was freed in February after spending 505 days in Hamas captivity, told CNN that his captors desperately wanted Kamala Harris to win the 2024 election. “They were very scared of him. … [A]s soon as Donald Trump was elected, they understood that he wanted to bring us back home. … When Trump became president, … they started giving [me] more food. … Stopped cursing me. They stopped spitting on me.”

HHS: Bobby Jr. has canceled a $766 million federal contract with Moderna for experimental mRNA-based H5N1 bird flu vaccine.

ICE: Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials took 40 people into custody on Nantucket Island and Martha’s Vineyard; they included MS-13 gang members, as well as at least one child sex offender. The Coasties helped to safely and efficiently remove them from the islands.

GALLUP’s latest poll asking, “How much confidence do you have in television news?” netted t.v.’s talking heads a minus 44 rating, with only 12% of respondents choosing “a great deal” or “quite a lot” vs. 56% choosing “very little” or “none.

MIDDLE EAST: Last July, Israel took out Hamas’s political leader Ismail Haniyeh and Mohammed Deif, the head of Hamas’s military wing.

Last October, they took out Yahya Sinwar, who was the leader of Hamas at the time and the mastermind behind Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack on Israel.

This week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced they have eliminated Mohammed Sinwar, who had succeeded his brother.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Thank You for all the times You have encouraged and sheltered and carried us each through troubled times. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

1A: CLICK https://x.com/TONYxTWO/status/1927539070336700422 [1:36] to hear what happened at January 2025 at the Aransas Pass (Texas) City Council meeting. A lawsuit, Followell v. City of Aransas Pass et al (Case 2:24-cv-00055), was filed in March 2024 is still pending as of May 27, 2025. The case hinges on whether Followell’s speech was protected under the First Amendment or if his removal was justified to maintain meeting decorum.

Grok says, “The First Amendment protects free speech, including profanity, in public forums like city council meetings, unless it’s fighting words or truly disruptive. Decorum rules are valid if content-neutral and needed for order, but can’t silence valid criticism. In Followell’s case, his removal for profanity is debated in his ongoing lawsuit, with no ruling yet. Both matter, but free speech often takes priority unless it derails the meeting. Context is key—courts will decide the balance.

CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Uvc98D3cXtc to hear Nick Freitas speak about speaking truth. As Grok said, “Context is key.” So are consequences. There is a lot of unpack here. If I were still actively parenting, we’d be having some serious dinner talk at our house tonight.

AI VIDEO TELLS: There is a discussion @ https://notthebee.com/article/no-one-seems-to-realize-that-this-viral-clip-is-ai about why a recently viral video is almost certainly AI-generated. As with staged videos where actors portray some click-baity skit, the biggest thing I see is too-perfect camera framing. Genuine “on the spot” videos taken by a security camera or some bystander with a phone don’t look like this.

AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS: Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy wants to offer retirees a 20% salary bonus to stay on. Since Biden’s DEI push trashed the ATC workforce, Trump’s people are working to accelerate training and hiring.

BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL: On Sunday, Trump gave Senate Republicans permission to make major changes to the House-passed bill. “I want the Senate and the senators to make the changes they want. It will go back to the House and we’ll see if we can get them. In some cases, the changes may be something I’d agree with, to be honest.

BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP: SCOTUS is currently considering this issue. There is an interesting article about it @ https://www.dailysignal.com/2025/05/27/why-constitution-doesnt-guarantee-birthright-citizenship/.

DEMOCRATS: [1:48] – CLICK https://x.com/LangmanVince/status/1927480304417055114 [1:42] to listen to Jake Tapper have an ah ha moment about his beloved party.

HARVARD: Harvard behavioral scientist Francesca Gino was paid $1 million a year to study honesty and ethical behavior. After it was determined that she had manipulated her data to support her preferred conclusion, the school revoked her tenure. She’s suing. Of course.

OH, CANADA: If this is at all serious, and I don’t know at all if it is, I am 100% opposed to adding all of Canada as the 51st state, because it would give Ontario (far left) and Quebec (demands French on everything) an insane amount of power in the House of Representatives. If we added Canada as ten new states, Ontario’s and Quebec’s House seats would still have a significant, left-leaning impact; however, the less populated provinces would at least some seats in the House and, very importantly, would each gain 2 seats in the Senate.

RIGHT TRACK: The current “right track” number is the highest in polling history. Rasmussen’s lead pollster, Mark Mitchell, says “right track, wrong track” is the best predictor of how Americans view the current administration, beating out things like presidential approval by a lot.

SEATTLE: I wish people would not bring children to events where the likelihood of violence is this high. See clips @ https://notthebee.com/article/wild-videos-antifa-attacks-christian-worship-event-at-seattle-city-hall.

VAXXX: On May 21, 2025, the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations published its report on the Biden administration’s decision not to warn the public about potentially deadly side effects associated with COVID vaccines.

The earliest jabs were given in mid-December of 2020, approximately five weeks before Biden took office toward the end of January of 2021. Federal health officials knew as early as February 2021 that these vaccines were associated with myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the thin sac surrounding the heart).

Instead of warning the public, the Biden White House “distribut[ed] talking points to top U.S. health officials,” including National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci, actually downplaying the risk of myocarditis. They later went so far as to impose vaccine mandates on anybody and everybody they could to “take the jab or lose your job.”

Those of us who refused the vaxxx well remember how their aggressive publicity campaign led to us being shamed in public and shunned by family and friends.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us always to remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11! In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

1A: The DOJ has opened a civil rights investigation into Washington State Senate Bill 5375, which was signed into law on May 2, 2025 by Governor Bob Ferguson.

The new law adds “members of the clergy” to a list of professionals who are required to report information received in a confessional setting relating to child abuse or neglect to law enforcement or other state authorities.

The Code of Canon Law forbids priests from divulging information received in confession. The penalty for a priest who directly violates the seal of confession is excommunication. Washington priests and bishops have made it clear that clergy will go to jail before they comply with the new law.

BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL: Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) says there is enough opposition to the House-passed One Big Beautiful Bill Act to “stop the process” in the Senate and force President Donald Trump to negotiate changes.

CHINA: Protests have flared up, because tens of thousands of workers have not received their full salaries or have not been paid at all for months. Some factories have shut down without warning. Those involved in the disputes are from a broad range of sectors, including automotive, construction, property, mining, electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical, textile, leisure, and government.

DEMOCRATS: According to a NYT report, Dems are spending $20 Million to figure out why young men hate them. They could save a bundle just by reading the comments @ https://x.com/SonofHas/status/1926766923854791044.

OKLAHOMA: For decades, Stillwater High School has held ceremonies to celebrate senior athletes who had been recruited by college teams. For the first time, they also held a ceremony for seven seniors who had enlisted in the military. Seven have made commitments to the Oklahoma Army National Guard and one has enlisted in the Navy. Each one explained his or her choice to the audience and talked about future goals.

WASHINGTON: Members of Antifa, transgender activists, and others violently attacked Christians enjoying a permitted celebration in Cal Anderson Park in Seattle. Police got involved, so the protesters got into it with them too. Arrests were made. Afterwards, the Seattle mayor condemned the Christians for holding a “far-right rally” and demanded an investigation into how they got that permit. When Christians objected, he doubled down and suggested that he’s only facing backlash because he’s Seattle’s “first biracial mayor.”

Memorial Day

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Please bless our veterans in Purgatory and have mercy on them. Be not harsh in your judgment, but send angels to escort them to a place of refreshment. We ask this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

EULOGY:Phil Robertson was an American icon and an inspiring hero to millions of Americans. Phil grew up impoverished in a house without electricity or a toilet, but became a brilliant entrepreneur. Phil was married to his high school sweetheart Kay for nearly sixty years. After an initial rocky period in their relationship due to alcohol and infidelity, Phil rededicated his life to Christ and witnessed to his faith the rest of his life. Phil and Kay raised an incredible family of four sons, 16 grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren. All the way back in 2013, when the woke era was first getting started, Phil offered a masterclass in how to overcome an attempted cancellation. Phil told GQ magazine he thought homosexuality was sinful. A&E tried to kick him off his own show, but he never apologized or backed down, and A&E soon had to bring him back. Phil was also the rare celebrity who was a proud warrior for the unborn. Rest in peace.” – Charlie Kirk

FBI: Dan Bongino posted a progress report to X in which he says they are working on the DC pipe bombing investigation, as well as the cocaine discovery at the prior administration’s White House and the leak of the Supreme Court Dobbs case. 8647: CLICK https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1926552847392378997 [:53] to see Lefties in Wichita, Kansas chanting a call for someone to get rid of President Trump. If challenged, they will say they just want him impeached, but if that is true, they should say so, because “86” also means “assassinate.”

If you google, you’ll find lots of left-leaning sites carefully downplaying the last meaning. But those are recent. I found a reference from a post by Carlos Diaz, dated October 05, 2007 that says, “86’d – To get rid of, originally for killing someone. The phrase ’80 miles out and 6 feet under’ was reserved for someone who had to dig their own grave 80 miles from civilization and then get shot execution-style. All terms for 86’d originated from this, be it alcohol or eliminating.”

CATHOLIC: [8:46] – So happy with Pope Leo’s support for Tradition!

CLICKBAIT: I was impressed by this (https://x.com/IndianaGPA/status/1926435665471791375) until I read more. Grok says, “The video showing a Polish pilot landing a Boeing 737 on one wheel is likely not real. It appears tied to Sławomir Mentzen’s 2025 presidential campaign, as the plane has “MENTZEN 2025” on it. No credible news or aviation reports confirm such an event, and landing a commercial jet on one wheel is extremely rare and risky, with no documented cases. The video’s promotional context and lack of corroboration suggest it’s staged.” [CtH: Bold added by me.] Other commenters noted the lack of sparks or smoke as the plane was skidding across the tarmac. We’re all going to have to learn how to tell AI from reality.

FTC: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) voted 3-0 Thursday to dismiss a lawsuit against PepsiCo that was filed in the final days of the Biden administration. The suit, which accused the food and beverage giant of price discrimination, was rushed through just three days before President Trump’s inauguration. They said this “nakedly political effort to commit this administration to pursuing little more than a hunch that Pepsi had violated the law” would be a frivolous waste of taxpayer dollars.

PENNIES: It costs more than a penny to make a penny, so Trump has ordered the U.S. Mint to use up their stock of blanks and not make any more.

PSA: Good idea.

SHAME-FARE: The Turkish government is worried about obesity, so has dispatched health workers to each of the country’s 81 regions with weighing scales and tape measures. People with a BMI over 25 are referred to state-run centers, where they can receive free nutritional counseling and follow-up services. As obnoxious as this is, I gotta laugh as I scan the photos in the article below, cuz some of the “health” workers shown are fatter than the people they’re assessing!

SOUTH CAROLINA: The state’s supreme court has voted unanimously to uphold the 6-week abortion ban! [10 :25] – Roman Balmikov also reports on the current status of each state’s abortion laws.

AIR FORCE: Canceling eight wasteful contracts will save We the Taxpayers several billion dollar$.

AVIATION HISTORY: On March 12, 1985, a small aircraft with a jammed landing gear was saved in mid-flight by a mechanic who stood through the sunroof of a car going 90 mph. BORDER: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has just rolled out a new update to its Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program. The program provides a single, reliable source for verifying immigration status and U.S. The update will help eliminate voter fraud.

DEPARTMENT OF LABOR: The DoL currently has 16,800 licenses for phone lines, but in the last 30 days only 4,000 were used (24%). Canceling the unused lines will save We the Taxpayers about half a million dollars per year.

DOGE: Over the last two days, agencies terminated 120 wasteful contracts, saving We the Taxpayers $908 million. Almost half of that was for “technical services” in Mozambique.

The U.S. Census Bureau has done more than 100 additional surveys costing $2.2 Billion, many of which were never used. So far, five of them have been canceled, saving We the Taxpayers from spending $16.5 million to ask Americans stupid questions like, “In your entire life, have you had at least 12 drinks of any kind of alcohol, not counting small tastes or sips?

EDUCATION: Trump is deadly serious about ending discrimination. Since Harvard has refused to comply with multiple DHS requests for information about its DEI initiatives and foreign student population’s harassment of Jewish students, Kristi Noem has issued an ultimatum. MEDICARE: The government, which is 7 years behind on its required audits of Medicare Advantage plans, will be caught up by the end of this year. Since various reports estimate overbilling at between $17 and $43 billion per year, these audits should result in billions of taxpayer dollars returned to the Treasury. Hmm … I remember the Biden administration hiring thousands of extra IRS staff to go after transfers as low as $600 … but they totally ignored billions in fraud? Sounds about right.

NO KO: According to CBS News, the brand new 5,000-ton-class destroyer “became unbalanced and was punctured in its bottom sections after a transport cradle on the stern section slid off first and became stuck.” Little Rocketman said, “This was a serious accident that could not have happened, could not be tolerated, and was a criminal act caused by pure carelessness, irresponsibility and unscientific empiricism.”

NORTH CAROLINA: Charlotte City Councilwoman Tiawana Brown and her daughters, Antoinette and Tijema, have been indicted on federal charges of fraudulent use of COVID loans intended to support small businesses through the lockdowns.

The indictment says $15,000 of that money went to pay for a birthday party for Tiawana Brown. Word has it the party included a throne and a horse-drawn carriage. Brown says she paid the money back. Before serving on the City Council, Brown served four years in federal prison for fraud. She is also the founder of Beauty after the Bars(501c3), an advocacy organization committed to helping formerly incarcerated women.

SOCIAL SECURITY: After 11 weeks, the massive cleanup of Social Security records is complete. ELDER ABUSER IN CHIEF: I got Jill’s number the day I learned she had gone to graduate school to earn the most Mickey Mouse “doctorate” available ONLY because she didn’t like being “Senator and Mrs. Biden.” Ever after, she demanded she be known as “Doctor Biden.” In the US, the honorific “Doctor” is appropriate for all medical doctors and for “any other professional with a doctorate who likes to be recognized for it.” I have lived my entire life near an Ivy League university. I’ve known many people who have earned doctorates, but very few who even liked, much less demanded, the honorific. In the military, the only people referred to as “Doctor” are those with medical degrees. Those who have earned doctorates in other fields are referred to by their military rank.

LEFTISTS: [4:18] – Some of the critics on X posted “8646” t-shirts that were for sale last year before Biden dropped out of the presidential race. I think there are two gigantic differences between the two. “86” has a wide range of meanings, going from “throw away” to “evict” to “kill.” During the 2020 campaign season, “8646” clearly meant “evict Biden from the White House.” By contrast, Comey’s message was aimed at a second-term president who is not even six months into his 4-year term, who can never run again, and who has already been shot at twice.

PROJECT HOMECOMING: Sixty-four illegals from Colombia and Honduras have taken advantage of Trump’s self-deportation program. By using the CBP Home App, they received travel assistance, a free flight to their home country, a $1,000 stipend, and the possibility of one day returning to the United States legally. The DHS says they average more than $17,000 per illegal to apprehend and deport the unwilling, so Project Homecoming will save We the Taxpayers a lot of money.

VAXXX: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday said it plans to require new clinical trials for approval of annual COVID-19 boosters for healthy Americans under age 65, effectively limiting them to older adults and those at risk of developing severe illness.

WHOOPI: CLICK https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1924852865807286710 [:54] to hear Whoopi Goldberg say she can’t remember anything Biden said or did that showed he was impaired. ZING: CLICK https://x.com/charliekirk11/status/1924879713660764333 [:26] to hear how SecState Rubio and the chair of this meeting respond to a gratuitous insult by Senator Chris Van Hollen [D-MD]. Van Hollen was the bozo who flew to El Salvador to get himself a photo op with the wife-beating, human-trafficking, MS-13 gangbanger Trump deported. My favorite bit is right at the end. “Woefully used.” Indeed. Also CLICK https://x.com/Bubblebathgirl/status/1924944952783479132 [:26] to see the usual band of aged white liberals get booted out of the hearing. “I will not be silenced!” We’ve got some like this in our community, but thankfully not in my neighborhood!

DAILY PRAYER: Dear God, Thank You so much for allowing us to become Your true children! In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

BIDEN: Yesterday, I posted, “Noticing that they chose to make this public right before the Tapper-Thompson exposé is set to be released. Counting down to Dems screaming ‘You can’t talk bad about a dying man!’ in 3, 2, 1 … ” And here it is! CLICK https://x.com/WesternLensman/status/1924565993155645607 [1:01].

We weren’t supposed to talk bad about Biden’s obviously mental impairments either. CLICK https://x.com/charliekirk11/status/1924592212446478633 [1:16] to hear Jake Tapper sanctimoniously chastise Lara Trump. This would be the same Jake Tapper whose new book, “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” is being released today. The book, which I absolutely will not be buying, allegedly explores how the White House worked to cover up Joe Biden’s health issues. Bad White House, lying to innocent jerknalists like Jakey, who didn’t do it damn job when it matter, but now wants to score big buck$ on a too-little too-late exposé.

CLICK https://x.com/MarkUltramaga/status/1924106792025420033 [:30] to hear another liar lie out his lying liar hole. Best comment: “I worked in many memory care units. One person with dementia would speak to another person with dementia and it would make sense to the two of them. If Schumer has dementia too that would explain so much! It would certainly explain why he wouldn’t recognize Biden having cognitive issues.” Bwahaha!!

CATHOLIC: Pope Leo XIV, the first American pontiff, held a private audience with VP Vance and Secretary Rubio, wherein Vance presented President Trump’s official invitation to visit the White House.

CLINTON: CLICK https://x.com/robbystarbuck/status/1924123069406142875 [:53] to hear Hillary Clinton call Republican women “handmaidens to the patriarchy.” She has long been one of the leaders of the party that also tells us to be handmaidens to the absurd idea that male athletes have every right to steal awards and scholarships from female athletes.

McIVER: Congresswoman LaMonica McIver [D-NJ] has been charged with assault owing to her outrageous behavior at a Newark ICE facility. CLICK https://x.com/jammles9/status/1924766551678365990 [:27] to see the video.

SCOTUS: Approximately 350,000 Venezuelans should have seen their Temporary Protected Status (TPS) expire last month, until a Federal judge in San Francisco ordered otherwise. TPS allows aliens to live and work here legally, because their native countries are deemed unsafe due to natural disaster or civil strife. The Supremes ruled yesterday to overturn the SF judge’s injunction.

GRAMMY NOTES: I once mentioned to my sil that the main attraction for me in camping was that it renewed my appreciation for electricity and indoor plumbing. He, then an Infantryman in the U.S. Army, dryly replied that he preferred to vacation in 5-star hotels with room service. “Camping is too much like my day job.

MENTAL HEALTH: [8:12] – Recently, I saw an interview with “The Quilting Marine” in which he talked about how making a baby quilt for his new grandson had unexpectedly helped reduce his PTSD symptoms. There is another veteran who calls himself “The Combat Quilter” who tells a similar story. These guys made me wonder if my PTSD is a big part of why I love making quilts so much.
