POTUS APPROVAL: A new poll shows Trump with a +2 favorable rating in Deep Blue New Jersey. Forty-eight percent of the polls respondents said they had a favorable view of Trump, compared to 46% who did not. A further 6% of voters were neutral. CONFIRMED: Vice President Vance had to cast a tie-breaking vote, but Pete Hegseth has been confirmed for Secretary of Defense. When Trump learned Republicans Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) had all voted against Hegseth, he said, “We won. Winning is what matters, right?”
