31 SPECIAL OPS TROOPS INCLUDING 25 NAVY SEALS DIE IN HELICOPTER ATTACK

I know I must have a heart–because it’s breaking.

They were on a mission to save other SEALS.

Thanks,Joe Biteme for making these warriors a target by telling the world all about them while you were doing the Bin Laden happy dance

Obama better not escape blame for the credit downgrade. He should be the “face” of the negativity.

    • Øbama is like a spoiled little kid. He wants credit for everything good that happens (like offing Bin Laden), but he will never take responsibility for anything bad (high unemployment, S&P credit downgrade, etc.) — that’s always someone else’s fault. If there were a Republican in the White House trying this stunt, he would never get away with it — the media would call him on it.

  3. Will someone please explain Judge Judy to me? I’ve never seen her on TV, just little clips that people post on YouTube/Facebook. I’m assuming these are real court cases, but are they being filmed as they take place, or are these re-enactments for television? (Pardon my ignorance — since I don’t have TV I tend to be kind of illiterate with regard to popular culture.)

Given popular culture, I’m thinking this is a good thing, bob. Casa Hyphen has been tv-less since 1979.

      • How funny… my old black-and-white TV (anyone remember black-and-white TV???) died in 1978, when we were in the midst of moving from our first apartment to our first house and I was very pregnant with our first child. We were too busy then to get the TV repaired, and once we’d moved into our house and our daughter was born, neither my husband nor I had the time or energy to haul the TV to the car and take it to the repair place. We sort of got used to not having it, and after it sat around gathering dust for a while, and we realized we didn’t miss it, my husband finally hauled it to the curb on garbage day. We got along without it just fine for many years, but when movies began to be widely available on videotape, I started thinking about getting a TV to watch movies on. I thought about it for ages, finally buying a TV/VCR combo shortly before VHS became just another obsolete technology. Nowadays I mostly watch DVDs on my computer. I lust after a TV/DVD combo with a nice big screen, but they’re too pricey for my budget.
