THE MONDAY GRUDGE

Posted by Pistol Pete

After some research and further analysis,Chrissy was spot on regarding the infamous EO I posted yesterday.I think we’ve seen so many outrages from this usurper we are ready to believe anything.

I copied this comment from a thread on another site;I think it’s worth reading.

And the most evil aspect of this president is that he was elected hating the majority who put him in office and hating them still as they let him get away with his thuggery and outlaw presidency because of his skin color.

The hater still hates.

Proving what many of us have said all these years: no matter what is done, no matter who destroys their lives in order to “repair” race relations, no matter how much property is confiscated, people ill treated and lives stunted, there will still be those who will continue to say nothing has changed and we want more. For those there is nothing that will ever be enough. It’s time to move on and let the chips fall.

The spirit of Obama has not softened but hardened with his successes. He does not have the soul to see that he would not be where he is today if what he believed was true. He is soulless and mindless, a programmed robot whose animating thoughts were seared into his psyche at an early age, and lacking the intellectual ability to connect the dots he has lived a blinkered and blighted interior life carefully maintaining the outward appearance of a cool and detached observer. You don’t hate with such a steady vehemence, you don’t organize your relationships, your profession, your education, your MARRIAGE, and your life around hatred for decades into middle age and beyond without it taking over and perverting your mind to everything in your life.

America has in this president an emotionally unbalanced and vengeful grown up adolescent whose influence will never be expunged from our national psyche. He has done his damage and it will reverberate through the rest of my lifetime as well as the lives of millions. Even if he is defeated we will be like those whose lives were put in danger and who managed to escape: always wary, not quite what we were. More cynical, less trusting. Less American. More Soviet.

Just imagine what he must have been thinking about all of us as he looked out at the vast adoring throngs in 2008 and as he was invoking the word hope and secretly thinking: hate. America gave him their trust and he used it to sharpen his fangs.

Pretty much their approach to everything. The one thing that prevents a totalitarian state is an armed populace. The Founding Fathers knew it,that’s why it’s the amendment right after free speech.

One more day of Romney robocalls. It has been horrible! But I am really happy that “for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my fellow tea partiers”. My vote actually counts, thanks to all those who got to vote before me and did not buy the line that romney is our only choice. To all of you, THANKS!
I did get one Newt call. It was kind of strange. All of the candidates were in the Chicago area the past few days. Newt did not appear in my county, which is traditionally GOP. The robocall commented that Newt was not there, and implied that it was because he was not invited by the local GOP who need to get it organized. This does not surprise me. The IL GOP is a joke, which is why the dems have been able to run roughshod over a state that is seeing red.
So tomorrow I get to vote anti establishment. YEAH!

There was a piece on the radio this morning that said Santorum was stumping for votes in rural Illinois. That would be the entire state outside Crook County from the Wisconsin state line to East St. Louis.

Sheesh … check out the all alike t-shirts and signs in the “Biden got cheered” sections (e.g., :39). I smell astroturf.

It is almost as if they gave everyone willing to wear a green obama shirt a front row seat. Talk about astroturf.

The Q&A session on the third lecture in the Constitution series has an interesting discussion of how gridlock in Washington serves a good purpose and how term limits could result in unelected professional bureaucrats having an inordinate amount of power.

Wow – you are right. It is being scrubbed because it is not at that link anymore. Do you think it is for safety reasons, or just to avoid the anger over the cost? I thank it is the latter, but it is framed as the former to get sites to take it down.

P.S. I really am glad that she has so many friends. I feel sorry for those girls. I just wish they could find a more economical way to enjoy being together – like Camp David, maybe?

What kind of parents give their thirteen year olds a “spring break” not in the confines of a family vacation. Negligent mommies and daddies. These parents are detached from their kids. Yes, I AM judging. So be it.

Try this one. Only don’t click from sites copy and paste in url. When that does not work on a link, google first four words or so of title and will find one that works from the search page. I do this all the time because almost all the direct links pertaining to Obama, NBC, Holder, Chicago, do not work from sites. http://img.ibtimes.com/www/articles/20120319/316249_malia-obama-mexico-spring-break-travel-warning.htm

President Barack Obama’s 13-year-old daughter, Malia Ann Obama, will be spending her spring break in the Mexican city of Oaxaca with 12 friends and 25 Secret Service agents.

The young tourists will be in a downtown hotel in the city known for its colonial architecture and native traditions, reported a state police official.

“We are here to block access to the hotel by other people and escort the vehicles that are carrying the visitors to tourism sites,” the police official told AFP under the condition of anonymity.

Along with the 25 Secret Service agents, Obama and her friends will protected by a slew of Mexican police officers, according to the AFP.

The group arrived in Oaxaca on Saturday and reportedly visited the architectural site of Mitla. They also visited the tree of El Tule, believed to be approximately 1000 years old. The group also plans to travel to Monte Alban, which is known for its archaeological research as well as the artisan sections of the city.

On Feb. 8, 2012, the State Department issued a travel warning to all potential tourists to the Mexican region.

“U.S. travelers should be aware that the Mexican government has been engaged in an extensive effort to counter TCOs, which engage in narcotics trafficking and other unlawful activities throughout Mexico,” wrote the State Department in a statement. “The TCOs themselves are engaged in a violent struggle to control drug trafficking routes and other criminal activity. As a result, crime and violence are serious problems throughout the country and can occur anywhere.”

However, while the State Department has issued travel warnings throughout the country, there is no warning in the Oaxaca region of Mexico.

You know, to be fair, I just remembered that the very exclusive private school where my sister teaches offers spring break trips that are focused on some kind of learning theme, or service theme. For example, my sister the science teacher arranged a trip to the Gallapogos (or something like that) Islands to study turtles and stuff for the girls a few years back. It was an optional activity with a high price tag. Other trips were to Guatemala to help with building a school or clinic or something. You get the drift. They sort of study all year about the trip and where they are going. I remember my niece saved for 2 years to be able to go with a group to Africa to study wildlife photography. And then another year she went to Romania to study the problems in the orphanages.

Maybe this trip is something like that. That is about the number of kids they usually allow per trip on those kinds of things.
