I realize you are joking, but that is what the media will say… how bad what Obama “inherited” was…
But be ready to explain to any “progressives” you know that George W. Bush “inherited” the Dot Com Bust and the 9/11 attacks, and even in the midst of that terrible 1-2 punch, the lowest Employment-population ratio from the days of George W. Bush and the Republican Congress was 62.0 in September 2003.
Then, the second half of the Bush Tax Cuts (passed in 2003) started to kick in, and both the Employment-Population ratio and Total Receipts (Revenues) from taxes went UP, EVERY SINGLE YEAR, until… the Democrats took control of both houses of Congress in January 2007.
Under majority-Democrat control, the recovery stalled, then crashed, and we have now gone 40 straight months (three years, four months) with the Employment-Population ratio below 60.0.
The Bush Tax Cuts brought real recovery. The Democrats have brought nothing but misery.

We all remember through 52 straight months of job gains and unemployent of 4.5% the media continued to whine about a ‘jobless recovery’.Bush has said the biggest regret he had was signing off on the stimulus bill that Obama voted for.(that never gets mentioned.)That gave Obama an excuse to go on a taxpayer feeding frenzy and lay it all off on Bush.Of course,the media never,ever questioned it.

Not to mention the fact that the airlines and affiliated industries lost billions after Sept 11 and Bush’s take charge attitude SAVED JOBS in the end-and union jobs at that!
Remember how he was ridiculed for telling people to go out and buy stuff. lol That picked up the economy. Now people and businesses are afraid to spend money on toothpicks. We still are afraid it could get worse.
If mittens wins, there will be an economic boom, simply because people will feel there is HOPE.
