I was thinking, “So if you want a job, vote Republican. If you want entitlements, vote Democrat”, but then it occurred to me, those entitlements are paid for by people with jobs who pay taxes. So if you want your entitlements to continue to be funded, you should vote Republican. 🙂

WHILE ROMNEY HAS A STRONG HAND,OBAMA CAMP PLAYS CARDS BETTER
Willard better realize Obama is a professional campaigner. And he’s damn good at it.As long as he’s allowed to dictate the terms,Romney will be on the defensive. We know he has an economic plan, but he better not wait until the convention to reveal it.

OBAMA SEEKS ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF SOME BUSH TAX CUTS
This is what I was talking about. He takes the automatic tax increases off the table until after the election and still gets to demagogue his ‘tax cuts for the rich’ scam.If the GOP holds out for extension of ALL tax cuts, they’ll be accused of favoring ‘millionaires and billionaires’ over the middle class.Romney need to explain in an understandable way who it is that actually creates jobs and how they do it.

OBAMA SPENDS ABOUT TWO HOURS A DAY PLAYING PRESIDENT
Obama Schedule || Monday, July 9, 2012
by Keith Koffler on July 8, 2012, 9:14 pm
Let’s take a look at this schedule for a second. Obama is planning to spend about two hours being president.
The press pool doesn’t have to arrive at the White House until 10:00 am, which means there’s no chance of anything happening until then – at the earliest – which means Obama is probably in the White House Residence in his pajamas eating oatmeal.
He starts work at about 10:30 am or so, looks like. And by noon he’ll be having lunch and prepping for his interviews, mostly with anchors who broadcast to markets in swing states, with New Orleans thrown in for cover.
And then he’ll be fundraising.
10:45 am || Receives the Presidential Daily Briefing
11:15 am || Meets with senior advisers
2:00 pm || Participates in interviews with local TV anchors from New Orleans; Manchester, New Hampshire; Louisville, Kentucky; Miami; Raleigh, North Carolina; Davenport, Iowa; Milwaukee; and Las Vegas.
4:15 pm || Attends a fundraiser; The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Washington
5:20 pm || Attends a second fundraiser; The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Washington
All times Eastern

GIBBS SAYS OBAMA COMMITTED TO RAISING EVERYBODY’S TAXES AT YEAR’S END
They don’t even try to hide it any more
Top adviser for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign said Sunday the president was entirely dedicated to ending the so-called Bush tax cuts for the wealthy at the end of this year.
“He is 100% committed to it,” Robert Gibbs said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
Obama signed a bill in 2010 to extend the Bush-era tax cuts, citing the need for economic stimulus at the time, but has since vowed he would not permit another extension.
The tax breaks are set to expire in what’s known as the “fiscal cliff,” a package of spending cuts and removal of tax breaks that will take place on January 1 if Congress fails to act. In total, $7 trillion could be taken out from the economy.
Tax breaks that would end include the Bush tax cuts, middle class protection from the Alternative Minimum Tax, and more than 50 “temporary” tax breaks for individuals and businesses that have been on the books for years.
For its part, the White House has proposed raising taxes on the very wealthy as a way to help make a dent in the federal deficit.
