Not much happening today.The RNC preemptively cancelled todays schedule ahead of Isaac,which veered west toward Louisiana.Democrats are savoring the chance to dredge up the Katrina-Bush-bashing days of old.It matters little that W will not be at the convention and wants nothing more to do with politics.They prefer bullying someone who won’t fight back.Biden cancels crashing the convention and instead went to a meeting with big dem donors and proceeded to insult them by being 2 hours late.A couple hundred protesters have shown up,the rain probably being their first shower since they reached puberty.I fully expect Tingles Matthews to smoke some ‘bath salt’ drugs and try to eat Mika’s face.

I doubt Romney believes BHO is a nice guy. More likely, this is a political tactic. I listen to undecideds and hear this “he’s nice” thing. They still believe it and they’d shut down and tune out if Romney came on all “Obama is an evil man.” Even if ti’s true. But by saying “hey he’s nice, just not competent”, you get them to consider the man’s record as president without turning them off. Turning voters is the important thing now.
