Sooo,the GOP isn’t caving and now Barry has to walk back his doomsday predictions a bit.It may be wishful thinking,but it seems like the media whores are a little less eager to hide his treachery than they usually are.Maybe some of them are getting tired of being played for the fools they truly are.Woodward dared speak up yesterday(as per the video I posted) and now he’s gotten a threatening e-mail from financial hack Gene Sperling.Those of us who pay attention know this administration is run like a crime family.Woodward has long been a hero to the enemedia because he has a presidential scalp hanging from his belt.They’re making it clear nobody speaks against the Chosen One…nobody.

Speaking of teachers.
Among O’liars latest whoppers is that he is saying how teachers are getting pink slips because of congress.
Besides the fact that teachers are hired and fired locally, not by Congress, all non tenured teachers routinely get pink slips this time of year. This is union protocol so that their butts are covered should any teachers actually do need to be fired. Most teachers are rehired before the next school year.

When budget cuts happen, why is it always the teachers that get laid off? The public schools are so top-heavy with bureaucracy that it isn’t even funny. They could fire a whole bunch of administrators and no one would ever know the difference. They could fire the Diversity Coordinator, the Assistant Vice Principal for Affirmative Action, the Associate Director of Bullying Prevention, the Deputy Assistant Vice Principal for Gender Equality, and the Grief Counselors that they keep around for whenever there’s a school shooting, and no one would ever miss any of them. But no, it’s always the kindergarten teacher or the special ed teacher they talk about firing, because those are the people who would actually be missed if they weren’t there.

One of my cats is obese. My vet used to give me long scolding lectures all the time about how I needed to make my cat exercise more. She gave me all kinds of helpful suggestions about how to make my cat exercise. I switched vets.

I am one of the cruel, heartless pet owners who never lets her dogs gain any weight. We had a greyhound once. Her ideal weight was so tightly limited between too much and too little that the vet taught me to feel her ribs each day to keep on top of it. The problem with a fat greyhound is they get arthritis in their feet. It’s painful for them and expensive for owners.
I just got in the habit, so our two little poos are trim all the time. THEY think I palpate them all over every day to give them massages. I actually do it to check for knots or flea dirt in their fur, keep an eye their weight, and rub my smell all over them lest they forget who the real ALPHA DOG in this house is! LOL
