Meghan is the eldest child of John McCain and his second wife, Cindy. Her dad married his first wife, Carol Shepp, in 1965. The following year, he adopted her two children (born in 1959 and 1962) and they had a daughter in 1966. In 1979, he began dating Cindy, who is only 5 years older than his eldest child. He moved out on his wife in January 1980; she agreed to a divorce in February 1980.
His first wife, Carol Shepp McCain: “The breakup of our marriage was not caused by my accident or Vietnam or any of those things. I don’t know that it might not have happened if John had never been gone. I attribute it more to John turning 40 and wanting to be 25 again than I do to anything else.”
John McCain: “My [first] marriage’s collapse was attributable to my own selfishness and immaturity more than it was to Vietnam, and I cannot escape blame by pointing a finger at the war. The blame was entirely mine.”

Does Meghan think at all before she types? I personally think that brainless, sycophantic, superficial pundits, like her, are a huge downward force in our political system. More so than politicians with human weaknesses.
