Liberal Logic on Climate Change

CLIMATE Liberals really are that stupid

August 2013: Environmental activists launched a well-funded new attack on Republican “climate change deniers” in hopes of making global warming a big issue in the 2014 campaign cycle.

September 17, 2013: Long-time Gore-ite Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif … natch) is head of Congress’ Safe Climate Caucus. They hosted a Democrats-only forum today to hear to “hear from individuals who have experienced first-hand the serious impacts of climate change.”

Among them was a Texas rancher who talked about the extreme drought in Texas, which apparently we’re supposed to all assume was caused by carbon emissions. But the Texas State Historical Association climate records say severe drought in Texas happens about once every ten years or so. And the worst one was back in 1884–86, long before mankind started using fossil fuels in large quantities.

September 27, 2013: The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change will release its fifth report on global warming. Earlier IPCC reports fueled climate alarmism and padded Al Gore’s bank account. Reporters who got an advance copy of the new report say it admits the computer models they used in the past sucked and oops sorry about the alarmism thing.

  1. I like the Examiner headline: “GW report could backfire on enviros.” You think? I think it already has.

    • I gave up on the whole global warming thing the minute I realized that no matter what happens, the Chicken Littles cite it as evidence of global warming. Hotter than usual? Global warming. Colder than usual? Global warming. Wetter than usual? Global warming. Dryer than usual? Global warming. And so on ad nauseam. What a load of codswallop.

Load of codswallop? Global warming. 😉

      • Yes, I love that… Yes, it is a load of codswallop.

I have saying it for years because we had the extreme summer temperatures in the past and it happened in 1959 when my sister was lying in hospital in a coma!!

Over here the alarmists are screeching about how we have had the hottest year on record, but that is a load of b.s. or codswallop if you prefer. It is not the first mild winter that we have experienced. August was warm, but the records for August temperatures do not extend to 200 years!! Also, the highest record temperature is still held by Oodnadatta in about 1960 and the recent high temperatures have not reached what was recorded back then!! So I could not care less what these idiots say because they are wrong.

One more thing and that is the ice cap in the Arctic has been growing again. The north-west passage never cleared of ice.

Here in Australia the predictions of Tim Tam the Flim Flam man aka the now sacked Climate Commissioner have all been proved wrong. The last proof was the flooding of the Hawkesbury River because Warragamba dam flowed over the spillway again!! As a side note in 1979 when I lived in South Windsor the rains caused the Warragamba Dam to open the flood gates, leading to flooding of the Hawkesbury River. Several people died as a result of the rains and the flash floods including a boy who had been helping to evacuate stranded people with his boat – the boat touched power lines.

As a result of this alarmism we now have at least 3 desalination plants in Australia that are useless white elephants. They are not needed. It would have been better to build new dams rather than a desalination plant… but that is a whole another issue.

  2. You will love what has happened over here. The Climate Change Commission has been abolished with savings next financial year of more than $1 million. 🙂 . The Department of Climate Change is being dismantled. The corporation that was sent up to hand out loans to people with dumb ideas re: climate change has been abolished.

The watermelons are screaming and crying in their spilt milk. They are claiming that it is illegal to dismantle the mechanisms that they set up… poor babies.

The really good news about our election has been the swing against the Greens in most parts of Australia – some pockets of stupidity remain, however. Tasmania had the largest swings of all the states. Three electorates in Tasmania changed hands and the swings were more than 10%.

We now have that dumb David Suzuki over here trying to tell us that the sky is falling… well he can go back to Canada with his lies because I know all about the pine-beetle and the fact that they can get rid of it with a good fire.
