“Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” is the poem by Robert Frost that begins “Whose woods these are I think I know…” (Hey, I’m an English major — I read Robert Frost to my kids when they were little.) And of course most little kids have minds like a steel trap, so they memorize things very quickly. Still I have to say I was impressed with the little boy in the video above, rattling off that long speech in prose, which is much harder to memorize than rhyming things like songs and poems.

Wow, that is awesome of her. My brother-in-law brought a stray kitten home from Iraq on one of his tours of duty. It would have broken his heart if he couldn’t have kept her. It’s so nice to see that this family was able to keep their big old babies with the family, too.
