Florida TV station documents ineligible voters as DoJ sues to prevent state from purging rolls
The Department of Justice (DOJ) was quick to sue the state to stop the purging because the agency claims it discriminates against minorities. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has colluded with the DOJ in Florida and the head of the group’s local chapter says purging voter rolls disproportionately affects the state’s most vulnerable groups, namely minorities.

Commission Finds ‘No Compelling Medical Reason’ To Exclude Transgenders From Military
The commission argued that facilitating gender transitions “would place almost no burden on the military,” adding that a relatively small number of active and reserve service members would elect to undergo transition-related surgeries and that only a fraction might suffer complications that would prevent them from serving. It estimated that 230 transgender people a year would seek such surgery at an average cost of about $30,000.

My kids were able to get laser surgery so they wouldn’t have to wear glasses in combat. Now THAT makes sense. And even there they had to fit into a set of requirements that demonstrated the expected benefit would be worth the money and down time for recovery.
When I tried to enlist, I got turned down because of my allergies. I wouldn’t be a benefit in a war zone with such a need for shots and pills.
So how in HELL does it make ANY sense to allow transgenders who need major hormonal treatments daily? Never mind PAY for what is an extensive set of procedures that takes a long time and offers NO BENEFIT to the military?
Never mind. Rhetorical question. I know the answer. I’m just venting.

Graham Offers to ‘Help’ Kerry With Boehner on Ukraine Sanctions
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, R, offered his help with the GOP House of Representatives on a stalled Ukraine assistance bill in a hot-mic moment with Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday.
After Kerry finished an appearance before the Senate Appropriations Committee, microphones caught Graham telling Kerry: “Hey John, good job! Let me know what I can do to help you with [GOP House Speaker John] Boehner.”

Graham probably will get reelected, but I am going to stay hopeful for the time being. The last primary poll I saw had him at only 45% with 22% undecided. He has 4 challengers. If he does not get 50%, there is a run-off. You would think that the 22% of undecideds know perfectly well all they need to know about Miss Lindsay. I’m hoping they are just trying to make up their minds which of the other 4 to support.
