Frankly just played BINGO NUMBER 5. Bob and I have each played 1; this was Frankly’s THIRD. At the moment, Bob and I are getting clobbered, but the funny thing about a BINGO is that it stretches so far across the board that it opens up more opportunities for more BINGOs. This game is going to be FUN!
What makes this game so weird is that the first three plays were all bingos. It’s not unusual in our three-way games for each of us to get a bingo eventually, but for each of us to make one on the first turn is downright bizarre. I think the tile bag fairy must have been messing with us.
And a NONGO is a 7-letter word sitting on your rack, just aching to be played for that juicy 50 point BINGO bonus, except there’s NOWHERE TO PUT IT.

What, exactly, is a ‘bingo’ in Scrabble? Is it defined by the length of the play? Number of bonus tiles covered?

A bingo is any word of any length that uses up all seven tiles on your rack.
