Obamas Maximize Damage Over Holiday Weekend
The Obamas have never been known to think for a microsecond about the impact of their sporting lives on the public, whether it’s in Hawaii or the continental U.S. or on other continents. This is befitting the de facto royalty that they have become, really. Barack’s golf outings, of which there are many, are legendary for displacing entire islands, towns and villages at the busiest possible times, ensuring that the maximum number of people are deprived of the vacations that they have planned for months – sometimes years. Even the unprecedented habit of spending family Christmases off-continent, in Hawaii, is startlingly expensive, not just for the treasury, but for the hundreds of White House staff forced to work away from their families over the holidays. This Presidents Day weekend is no exception.
As winter refugees flood southern California to hit Disneyland and other entertainment destinations on this precious mid-winter three-day weekend, President Obama is right there in the thick of it with his dozens of flights and hundreds of golf-support vehicles to shut down traffic as far as the eye can see through the light smog.
His wife and daughters, not to be outdone, are in Aspen today on the busiest ski-day of the year. This is a weekend, incidentally, when most Colorado locals avoid skiing altogether because the traffic up the mountain from the tens of thousands of extra out-of-state visitors overwhelms the roads. Add to this the First Lady’s motorcade and all the extra DHS activity, and the family therapists will be busier than ever this year.
It’s funny, though, because Michelle Obama has complained in the past about how she doesn’t have a paying job. The girls attend private schools that are very accommodating to Presidential daughters. She could take the girls skiing in Aspen on any day of the year when there’s snow. Why do it today? That’s a good question; one that will not be asked by any reporters allowed within earshot of these monarchs.

Citizenship in the Age of Obama
The Obama administration has directed that undocumented immigrants be allowed to apply for deferred action and advanced parole simultaneously, opening up the possibility for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens to be handed U.S. citizenship.
Obama’s executive actions regarding illegals also include the IRS making it possible for illegal aliens who have paid no taxes to receive cash tax credits.
They can also receive driver’s licenses in ten states, making it easier for those who are here illegally to vote along side law-abiding, tax-paying citizens.
Obama believes illegal aliens have a “right” to a job in the American work place.
The Border Patrol was recently instructed to not interfere with illegals driving drunk.
Other nations still cherish, protect and defend citizenship.
Not here. Not with Obama at the helm.
As the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), said Friday, “Our laws have been dismantled, stripped bare”, not by our lawmakers, but by a president who fancies himself king.
Americans are NOT HAPPY about this.
A January 2015 poll shows 58% of registered voters oppose Obama’s executive actions, compared to 36% in support. 53% said they support “Republicans in Congress taking away federal funding for this executive order” with just 36% opposed.
A majority of Americans support strengthening rules against hiring illegals.

- 76% = Evangelicals
- 75% = Catholics
- 73% = Rural
- 72% = Suburban
- 66% = Urban
- 63% = Non-Christians
- 58% = Democrats, Obama voters

MEDIA FAIL: The Scott Walker College Exposé
The same people going after Walker now let Obama completely off the hook.
The college careers of presidential candidates were staples during the 2000 and 2004 elections. Then in 2008, even as they were mocking Sarah Palin’s academic career, the media gave Obama a total pass.
And in 2012, when it was clear that Mitt Romney had far superior academic credentials than Barack Obama, the media just waved their royal hands over the issue of academics, declared it a non-issue, and focused on dog crates on the top of the car and binders full of women.
The Walker Probe has now delved deeply (2,000 words worth) into the Big Mystery of why Scott dropped out before graduating. (He got a good job offer and took it.)
Somehow, though, the media never pestered Obama about why he went to Occidental College in Los Angeles for two years after graduating from a highly respected private school in Hawaii. Could it be that his high school grades were lousy and he had to go to a nothing much school to get them up before he could transfer to Columbia in 1981?
That would be my guess. But we can’t really know, can we, seeing as Mr. Transparency on His High Moral Horse had his academic records sealed.
The Walker probe is also hot on the trail of such uber important scandals as his regular tardiness to French class and his reluctance to get into arguments with the liberals in his politics classes. Yet it was of no interest to this same media that none of the 400 people in Obama’s class at Columbia remembered him. At all.
Meanwhile, in Leftie Hypocrisy Land …

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY FROM PETE’S EL RANCHO
DW and I have had our star boarders since yesterday morning, and while it’s a joy,it’s really tiring trying to keep up with a 7 and 11 year old. We watched something on the Disney Channel last night called Bad Hair Day. They’re getting more into pre-teen and away from cartoons. The jury is still out as to whether that’s a good or a bad thing. Before I turned in for the night they brought me Valentines they’d made with grandma from construction paper,glitter and crayons. As I type this they’re taped to my computer desk. Their mom called to check on them at bedtime last night and she and daddy were enjoying a rare quiet night alone. I’ve got some funny stuff today since I didn’t do it yesterday,plus a few political things.

The Husband Store
A store that sells new husbands has opened in Manchester, just off Deansgate where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:
You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 – These men Have Jobs
She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 2 – These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
‘That’s nice,’ she thinks, ‘but I want more.’
So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 – These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.
‘Wow,’ she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 6 – You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor.. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
PLEASE NOTE:
To avoid gender bias charges, the store’s owner opened a New Wives store just across the street with the same rules.
The first floor has wives that love sex.
The second floor has wives that love sex and have money and like beer.
The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.

Suddenly the Left cares about a potential president’s academic credentials
Funny how they kept bleating that Barack Obama was the Smartest Man Evah, without once blinking an eyelid over the fact that Obama had all his academic records sealed. We have NO evidence that he was ever enrolled at any of the three colleges he claims he attended, much less what courses he took or what grades he earned.
But George Bush? “OMG he only got C’s!” And Sarah Palin? “OMG she went to a college in fly-over country!” Now it’s Governor Scott Walker, a man with a proven record of success that far outstrips any credentials Barack Obama had before he ran for president … suddenly he’s unfit because he didn’t graduate from college. What a bunch of hypocrites!

Have you seen the media reports about Governor Scott Walker not finishing college? Many in the media are falling all over themselves like it is the Pentagon papers! I am not telling you to vote for or against Gov Walker should he run for President …but I am saying this: I know a lot of very very smart people who never went to college and I know a bunch of big dummies who did go to college (and graduated.) I don’t know about you, but I sure don’t measure intelligence by college degrees.

I was born literally across the street from Cornell University and have lived in or near its hometown of Ithaca, New York, for all of my sixty years. I know from a great deal of personal experience that having a college degree is no guarantee of intelligence, competence, or common sense. If you need more than just my word on this …
