Second,thank you for sharing some of your childhood memories. Being an exhibitor, be it as an arts and crafts fair, flea market, antique show, or toy show takes an awful lot of work. You need to make/find merchandise to sell, tag it, pack it, transport, set tables up, stay in your selling space all day and re-pack everything that didn’t sell and haul it home. Sometimes you make a profit,sometimes you don’t. What with the popularity of the internet people are finding other means to buy what they’re looking for. The reason I got into selling toys is that it was something fun (most of the time),I met a lot of dealers with much knowledge to impart that you would never get from a book,and mostly seeing the smiles on peoples’ faces when they see something that once brought them great joy during an innocent and carefree youth. I always maintained,if you can’t have fun selling toys,why are you doing it? I would hear lots of stories like those you posted yesterday about a favorite doll,truck or game. Therein lies the value in them. It’s a happy part of our past and we need to hang on to it in today’s world. If you don’t mind,I’d like to do a post from time to time about these wonderful things and maybe give you some information you didn’t have before. I really enjoy it because I never completely grew up at heart.

Then he bitches about republicans who call it a non-legally binding agreement.
Additionally, Kerry expressed his doubt that any future president would dare to nullify the non-legally-binding, non-treaty deal President Obama cuts with the Iranian leader so long as it is working and the Chinese, Russian, British, French and German governments (who are working along with the administration to negotiate such a deal) still back it.

There is precious little evidence that this drama, the children’s matinee at Failure Theater, is anything more than McConnell trying to show conservatives how super tough he is. If McConnell was really going to use the Lynch nomination as a bargaining chip he should have used it when it mattered: on the DHS bill. But he didn’t. He forfeited a chance to refuse to fund Obama’s amnesty, a position that had wide national support and he could have done so by inflicting a little temporary pain on a very unpopular and superfluous agency headquarters. Now he is now holding up a bill that most Americans support — one that allegedly will have an impact on human trafficking — for the sake of an unrelated amendment that will be used to beat the GOP.
In fact, the whole story smells like something cooked up by Reid and McConnell to give McConnell a little breathing room to further betray conservatives:

South African journalist Vuyo Mvoko was waiting on the side of a Johannesburg street to file a report for his station SABC Tuesday night when he was mugged right in front of his camera.
A contributing editor for SABC, Mvoko was reporting from outside Milpark hospital on the impending admittance of Zambian President Edgar Lungu. Two men can be seen passing in the background of the shot, and they clearly zero in on the journalist.
“We’re being mugged,” Mvoko is heard to say as the men surround him.
