During the Bush years, the mere mention of Halliburton evoked a rabid response from liberals who claimed the company dragged the U.S. into the Iraq War for profit. (Vice President Cheney was a former chairman of Halliburton.)
March 29, 2015: President Barack Obama teed off today at the private Floridian National Golf Club with a member of the board of directors of Halliburton.
A Google search of “Obama Halliburton golf” within the past twenty-four hours showed no returns from liberal sites.

“Leftist hypocrite” is not an oxymoron, it’s a redundancy. (Sorry to be nitpicky. Once an English major, always an English major.)

Heh! Actually, not to be counter-nitpicky, but I think Chrissy had been referring to all lefties by the humorous pet name “Oxymorons” separately from the term “Leftist Hypocrites.” So, I don’t think she meant for the two terms to be synonymous, even though the title might seem to imply it. Maybe.

Well, I was using oxymoron for two reasons … “leftist hypocrites” and “morons.” π

I could probably also make some claim about ox too, as in animals who are used by smarter creatures to serve purposes the animals do not understand. But it would be after the fact, cuz I only just thought of it. π

Oxymoron: a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction.
Redundancy: the use of words or data that could be omitted without loss of meaning or function; repetition or superfluity of information.
I’ll give you “six of one and half dozen of the other.” Here is why:
OXYMORON: The “liberal” I was raised with is what Dennis Prager calls “Liberal I.” For Liberal I-ers (something I still believe I am … except now we call ourselves Tea Partiers), hypocrisy is a sin and clarity of thought is a virtue.
REDUNDANCY: Prager calls the Progressive agenda that hijacked the idea of liberalism “Liberal II.” For Liberal II-ers, hypocrisy is a sin, but they are too drunk on kool-aid to engage in clear thinking. When their wolf-leaders point to us and say “They are hypocrites”, they baa in agreement.
