There are few success stories in the African-American community. About the only chance a person of color has to escape the endless cycle of poverty,violence, and ignorance is to be athletically gifted and turn to professional sports as a way out. There are many cases of young blacks that sign multi-million dollar contracts to play basketball or football, only to go bankrupt in a few years because they never cared about anything but good times and self-gratification. Here are several examples:
Jason Pierre-Paul, all-pro defensive end for the New York Giants had an $80 million long-term contract on the table and was assured $14.8 million this year when he was given the franchise tag. But as Ron White famously said: ‘you can’t fix stupid.’ He was setting off fireworks on the Fourth and blew off part of his hand.

A source with knowledge of the situation told The Record on Sunday night that Pierre-Paul suffered severe burns and loss of flesh on his palm and fingertips, and there were concerns of nerve damage in at least one of his digits. His fingers remained intact, however, a good sign indicating that his injuries are not career-threatening.
As far as what happens next, there is lingering doubt regarding Pierre-Paul’s contract situation — and with that his immediate availability for what is a crucial season for him and the entire Giants organization.

Federal and state agents raided the Zionsville home of Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday as part of a child porn investigation.
This follows the April arrest of Russell Taylor, the executive director of the Jared Foundation, for child pornography.

Is there a single HBO program that’s not something you’d be embarrassed to watch with your grandma in the room? What a filthy slice o’slime Dish channels 300-307 serve up to America (I’m not an HBO subscriber, but am consistently amazed at their lascivious and demeaning original programming during free preview weekends).
And of course Malia would be interning in Hollywood instead of, say, being a dental assistant, some pedestrian job those slack-jaws in flyover country take to earn a legitimate living. D.C. is Hollywood for ugly people, so why not enjoy the livin’ large, suckahs!

My biggest frustration with the conservative movement is its complete denial we are currently in a race war. Mention anything even remotely disparaging about America’s black community over at NRO or Ace or Federalist and count the seconds till the full pile-on. WND, Taki’s, Gateway Pundit and maybe a handful of others will even acknowledge the overwhelming daily evidence. I appreciate the integrity this site brings to the issue. Everyone else, radio silence.
So how does one address a problem no one can talk about without pandemonium and opprobrium?
