HRC: “I wasn’t transparent before, but I totes will be from now on.”

  • July 25, 2015: Hillary Clinton says, “I did not send nor receive [email through my illegal, private server] that was classified at the time.”
  • August 18, 2015: Hillary Clinton says the email controversy that has dogged her campaign “has nothing to do with me.” When asked if she had wiped her personal server, she quipped, “You mean like with a cloth?”
  • August 20, 2015: A recent Quinnipiac University poll shows 64% of voters consider Hillary Clinton to be dishonest and untrustworthy.

CLINTON Bill and Hillary dirt

  • August 25, 2015: Three government agencies — DIA, NSA, and NGA — report that information on Hillary Clinton’s illegal email server was classified TOP SECRET at the time it was sent and remains so today.
  • September 7, 2015: The Clinton campaign says that government agencies often have different views of what should be considered classified. Unfortunately for Ms. Clinton, as per a 2009 Obama Executive Order, government agencies have no authority to disagree with the originating agency’s designation.

CLINTON email You got nailed

  • September 7, 2015: Two of the emails then-SecState Clinton received via her illegal, unsecured, personal server account have been found to contain highly classified information. One involved North Korea’s nuclear weapons program.
  • September 7, 2015: Clinton maintains that her use of a private server was “allowed by the State Department.” That would be the State Department of which she was top boss. Nixon must be kicking himself for not thinking of the “it was allowed by the White House” angle.

CLINTON email Nixon

  • September 8, 2015: The most recent poll, released today, shows that between April and now, Clinton’s favorability has dropped from 60% to 42%. Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders’ has risen from 7% to 20%.
  • September 8, 2015: One day after saying she had done nothing wrong, Hillary Clinton offers her first outright apology. “I should have used two accounts. One for personal, one for work-related emails,” she told ABC News. ”That was a mistake. I’m sorry about that. I take responsibility.”

Democrats and Idolatry

IDOLATRY Satan doesn't care

Idolatry is a violation of the first and greatest commandment. It means to give to anything or anybody what God alone deserves.

Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment.” Matthew 22:37-38 (NABRE)

Last weekend in New Hampshire, a women’s chorus demonstrated Democrat idolatry when they desecrated an old gospel song by replacing “Hillary” for “Jesus.”

“I woke up this morning with my heart stayed on Hillary.”

This is far from the first time that Democrats have publicly and defiantly flipped the bird at God Almighty.  I’ve collected some images and news items about Democrat Obama worship @

Sex Ed: Traditional was better

PP Sex Ed

Please don’t be put off by the fact the article below was written by a left-wing feminist and published in TIME. It’s worth reading in full.

Put the Sex Back in Sex Ed by Camille Paglia
From TIME Opinion: Education – March 13, 2014

The refusal by public schools’ sex-education programs to acknowledge gender differences is betraying both boys and girls. The genders should be separated for sex counseling. It is absurd to avoid the harsh reality that boys have less to lose from casual serial sex than do girls, who risk pregnancy and whose future fertility can be compromised by disease. Boys need lessons in basic ethics and moral reasoning about sex (for example, not taking advantage of intoxicated dates), while girls must learn to distinguish sexual compliance from popularity.

Above all, girls need life-planning advice. Too often, sex education defines pregnancy as a pathology, for which the cure is abortion. Adolescent girls must think deeply about their ultimate aims and desires. If they want both children and a career, they should decide whether to have children early or late. There are pros, cons and trade-offs for each choice.

TO THOSE STILL EMPLOYED, WE SALUTE YOU

“And also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.” –Ecclesiastes 3:13 ‪#‎HappyLaborDay‬

Since Barack Obama began his reign of terror, the food stamp ranks have swollen to 47 million. There are 93 million people not in the work force, the highest rate in 38 years. He has bragged about 200,000 new part-time low wage jobs in the same month that 400,000 better-paying full-time jobs disappear. Since those who have not found work and have run out of unemployment are not counted in the ginned-up unemployment numbers, he brags about a 4.7% unemployment rate when the true figure is in excess of 19%.

My last full time job was in 2011 when I worked as a transporter for Medicaid recipients until, as they do with all their small vendors, the state of Illinois forces them into bankruptcy by not paying them. They don’t even pay lottery winners, even though the money is supposed to be there. It was exactly one year between the business closing and my social security benefits to begin. I was fortunate to be close enough to early retirement that we survived. Millions of others are not so fortunate. There is no reason to believe that the situation will improve anytime soon.

The Rock: Did Jesus mean Peter’s confession of faith or Peter himself?

Is Peter the Rock in Matthew 16:18? [6:37]

Many Evangelicals believe that petros meant “small stone” and that petra meant “large rock.”  They interpret Matthew 16:18 as an antithetic statement:

“I tell you Peter, you are a very small stone, but on the great rock [of your confessional statement with regard to my identity as the Messiah], I will build my Church.”

However, Matthew 16:18 can just as easily be interpreted as a synthetic statement:

“I tell you Peter, you may look like a small stone now, but on the great rock you truly are, I will build my Church.”

But, in fact, neither of these sentences make much sense since, in first century Greek, petros and petra were synonyms

Moreover, the synthetic (and Catholic) interpretation becomes the obviously correct choice once you realize that Jesus’ actual words were not in Greek, but in Aramaic, where the two words — kepha and kepha — were identical.  Pron. keh-fa.

“You are Kepha and on this kepha I will build my church.”

Kephas

The petros/petra difference arose when Jesus’ words were forced into Greek grammar, which dictated the masculine form, petros, in the first place, and the feminine form, petra, in the second.

“You are Petros and on this petra I will build my church.”

(In the NT, Peter is sometimes referred to as Cephas, which is a Greek variant of the Aramaic name — Kepha — that Jesus had given him.  It is sometimes pronounced see-fas, but should be pronounced keh-fas.)

By the time the Bible was translated into English, everyone knew the man as St. Peter, so the rendering in the English version is rather nonsensical.

“You are Peter and on this rock I will build my church.”

Rock? What rock? Who said anything about a rock?

The structure of Matthew 16:17-19 makes it even more clear that Jesus meant to build His church on the man, Peter,  and not just on his confessional statement that Jesus was the Messiah. Click on graphic to embiggen for easier reading.
