It’s been over a month since The Daily Caller first reported that Hillary Clinton’s top donors are funding Kathleen Matthews’ congressional campaign and two days since The Intercept revealed a flood of timely donations flowing from Chris Matthews’ “Hardball” guests to Kathleen’s campaign. To date, more than 17,000 progressives have signed a MoveOn petition calling on MSNBC to suspend the host of “Hardball.”
The Intercept reported that 48 frequent guests on “Hardball” had given $79,050 to Kathleen Matthews campaign. Many of the guests also gave donations through their spouse or PAC. Some “Hardball” guests gave money to Kathleen just days after coming onto the show.

Marriage is so-oo culturally dependent. We can’t even conceive of condoning ten-year-olds in marriage, but Muslims can’t conceive of Steve marrying John.
The Old Testament enthusiastically embraces polygamy, but that’s way back in our rear-view mirrors. In my lifetime blacks couldn’t marry whites, but now you’re a social pariah for even mentioning it. Incest and beastiality are still off-limits, but observing our culture’s evolution seems to indicate a trend toward fewer marital restrictions, not more, which would be in line with the Communist dissolution of the nuclear family structure.

Part of my two-decade musical career involved doing a solo act, heavily integrating the latest MIDI and a gear set-up that required 48 (!!) separate mixing inputs. One of the songs I performed was “Vehicle.”
It was (and still is) one of my favorite songs … my God, those nasty lyrics!! … but I was a real good guitarist, and that solo was one of the most difficult to play. Hendrix, Clapton, no problems, but something about those jazz leaps and the eighth-note runs toward the end made the whole thing really challenging to me.
I got a lot of respect for the musicianship of those guys. Disappointing they never established a more-enduring career.

I tried drumming briefly,but my grandparents didn’t see any humor in my practicing at night.Singing was my forte and in the days before cordless mikes I had a gold Shure with a 50 foot cord so I could flirt with girls.We loved the old stuff,until disco came along,then punk and grunge.I still watch VH1 Classic,which features metal from the glam/hair band era.I get into arguments with guys I work with who listen to rap.I can’t tell one song from another.Our music had instruments.And melodies.And harmonies.and no rap.

Actually Grunt, as my memory clarifies, I guess it musta been 40-in … two 16s and a sub-8 just for synths, all mini-Rolands for portability. Stereo acoustic, stereo electric, bass, stereo Kurzweil, harmonizer, stereo main mic, 2 aux mics … the back of that cabinet looked like a spaghetti factory exploded. I can’t even dream of having the wherewithal to put something like that together these days.
