The thumbnails on the top right go to the rest of the photos Capt Nigrelle took of the rescue of a paralyzed man and his wife that ultimately involved Texas National Guard soldiers, Texas Task Force 1 and Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Service swift water rescue technicians, the U.S. Coast Guard, and local volunteers.

ABC, CBS and NBC evening news programs all ignored the Aug 30, 2017, economic report showing our second quarter economic growth had hit 3%, which was significantly higher than the 2.7 percent expected. Hurricane coverage naturally dominated the news that night, but that didn’t stop ABC from finding time to tell us that John McCain is returnind to D.C. after his latest round of cancer treatments, CBS from finding time to complain that Trump and his defense secretary were sending “mixed messages” on North Korea, or NBC from finding time to tell us that men are becoming fathers later in life.
