TRUMP IS HITLER: Chris Cillizza at CNN wrote, “The roots of Adolf Hitler’s rise were built around his emphasis on extreme nationalism — the idea that the only way Germany could be great again was to seize onto the superiority of the German people and drive out those across Europe who refused to acknowledge that superiority.”
Never mind that President Trump has no brownshirts, but Democrats do. Never mind that President Trump has not spied on reporters, which Obama did. Never mind that President Trump has not politicized government law enforcement, something else Obama did.

BIDEN: Back in 2016, while he was still the VPOTUS, Joe Biden said of Donald Trump, “If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”
BABYLON BEE: After a string of mail bombings targeting Democrats ended in the arrest of a Florida man, Democrat leaders announced the commencement of a brief moratorium on calling for political violence against their foes … “at least until this whole mail bomb thing is out of the news cycle.” But, “once all this blows over, we will resume demonizing our opponents and calling for mobs to harass people we disagree with in public.”
MEDIA SLUTS: Remember that time the American media was consumed with news that envelopes containing ground castor beans (the substance from which the deadly poison ricin is derived) had been sent to President Trump, FBI Director Christopher Wray, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and the Navy’s top officer, Adm. John Richardson? Me neither. But sheesh … who can remember all the way back to October 2?

TIME’S UP, DEMOCRATS: When Democrats failed to block the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Democrat President LBJ is reputed to have said that his signing of it “would keep niggers voting Democrat for 50 years.” 1964 + 50 = 2014.
HILLARY: This is from the 2016 campaign season. If the candidate collapsing had been a Republican, this man would have been on every morning and evening news show and every t.v. and radio talk show. It’s especially interesting that he was on Hillary’s protection detail for eight years.

A heads-up: Over at Ace of Spades, on the regular Saturday Evening Movie Thread, Oregon Muse does a straight-up review of the Gosnell film.
First I’d read that Zo was in it.

Let’s see if I can get my nationalism rant to be concise. (HA!)
1. Humanity progresses – We started with family, extended to tribe, then tribes grouped as village-states, ultimately to larger and larger states, ultimately alliances of states, and thus the inevitable goal is one global society, government, economy.
2. Loyalties, once formed, are not easily shed. The American experiment ran from loyalty as British citizens to the mutual loyalty of independent colonists to the collective loyalty of the United States. From family to superstate, loyalty does not transfer casually or lightly. Each higher level is more difficult to accept.
3. The original “united nations” was the united states. I live in state #46, which became a state in my grandfather’s youth. Ariz and NM followed, and then Alaska and Hawaii in my lifetime. The transition to 50 stars was most impressive to me. I thought, in my silly youthful idealism, any state could join the USA. Border Mexican states, Canadian provinces… if they conform to our societal and Constitutional norms. In this childish notion is the great truth, the United States could be the world government.
4. Of course, such transition could take centuries, even a couple of millennia, barring any catastrophic world-changing events. You know, like the return of Christ. The globalists are Luciferian tyrants. Global government is an ultimate good, for which we must be in no hurry, nor accept anything less than the American ideals. The League was not the answer. The UN was not the answer. The globalists are the enemy of the answer. Only uplift of the citizenry, much as is happening in the Trump reformation, can pave the way for the someday global government.
Nope, couldn’t be concise.

We’re going to get a one world government of eternal peace and prosperity. It’s called New Earth. In the meantime, I’m inclined to agree with the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
“The Antichrist’s deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope which can only be realized beyond history through the eschatological judgment.”
and
“The Church has rejected the totalitarian and atheistic ideologies associated in modem times with communism or socialism.”
