2020_08 22 who cares

Usually, I skip anything about this woman. But the replies she got were priceless. They were so good, in fact, that she ended up blocking everybody but her bffs from replying.

Samantha Marika wrote, “Do you mean the ‘love’ the Democrats showed when they rode around in white hoods and lynched blacks? OR Do you mean the ‘love’ the Democrats show when they support the murder of millions of babies?

Burgess Owens (Republican candidate for Utah’s 4th district) wrote, “As a black man it’s hard to believe so many people are willing to vote for Joe Biden. A man so worried at the thought of his kids going to school with mine. A man who bragged about sponsoring the bill that incarcerated millions that just needed a second chance.”

Aaron Worthing wrote, “Yeah, those are love riots in our cities right now.

Allen Sutton (Founder of Stewardship America) wrote, “President @realDonaldTrump has done more for middle- and working-class Americans in 3.5 years than all other presidents combined over the past 3 decades. He has restored American sovereignty, economic growth, and US military strength. He is the greatest president of all time.”

I guess there’s no point in inviting her to Walk Away, so she can see tens of thousands of people explain why they stopped being Democrats. Cuz love, baby.

Character is on the Ballot

During his acceptance speech this week, Joe Biden said, “Character is on the ballot.

Okay, fine. Let’s talk about how Joe Biden’s proven history of lying and plagiarizing reflect on his character.

2020_08 21 pinocchio

In the 1970s and 1980s, Biden regularly claimed to have been an activist in the civil rights movement. In 1983, he said, “When I was 17 years old, I participated in sit-ins to desegregate restaurants and movie houses in my state, and my stomach turned upon hearing the voices of Faubus and Barnett, and my soul raged upon seeing the dogs of Bull Connor.

In 1988, he admitted that the extent of his civil rights participation was working at an all-black swimming pool for a summer while he was in college. “But I was not out marching. I was not down in Selma. I was not anywhere else. I was a suburbanite kid who got a dose of exposure to what was happening to black Americans.”

During the 2020 Democratic primary, he repeated the lie that he was involved in civil rights activism.

He also once claimed, “I organized a civil rights boycott because they wouldn’t serve black kids. One of our football players was black and we went there and they said they wouldn’t serve him. And I said to the others, ‘Hey, we can’t go in there.’ So we all left.

But in 1987, the black football player said his team mates “weren’t aware of what happened. … I was only 16 then. It was my problem and my battle for me to work out. They were oblivious to it until later.

In 1988, Biden referred to “my ancestors, who worked in the coal mines of Northeast Pennsylvania.” The line was part of the Neil Kinnock speech he plagiarized.

In 2004, he acknowledged that he did not have family members who worked in mining. But then in 2008, he told the United Mine Workers that he himself had once been a coal miner.

2020_08 21 star trek

In 2007, Biden claimed he was “shot at” during the Iraq War while visiting the Green Zone, the heavily guarded area in the middle of Baghdad where the United States embassy is based.

When asked for details about the shooting, a Biden campaign aide told the Hill that the then-senator was staying at a hotel in the Green Zone when a mortar landed several hundred yards away.

We have a problem

2020_08 20 problem

This is a well-written and thought out article written by a 26 yr old college student by the name of Alyssa Ahlgren, who’s in grad school for her MBA.

My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us!

I’m sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to “fix” the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.

I see people talking freely, working on their MacBooks, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we’ve become completely blind to it.

Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don’t give them a second thought.

We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!

Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful.

Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, “An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity.

Never saw American prosperity”! Let that sink in.

When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I’ve ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided.

My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand; I went to college. Let’s just say I didn’t have the popular opinion, but I digress.

Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country.

People around the world are destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they’ve never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.

Why? The answer is this: my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn’t live through the Great Depression, or two world wars, or the Korean War, or the Vietnam War. We didn’t see the rise and fall of Socialism and Communism.

We don’t know what it’s like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don’t have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it’s spreading like a plague.  #pleaseshare

No Catholic Can Vote for Biden

VIDEO: 26:48 – If this issue concerns you, I encourage you to watch the entire video and also to read what I’ve written below.

The Left HATES genuine, faithful Catholics. Just look at the way they treated Brett Kavanaugh!

It should be no surprise then that both the Democrat’s nominee for president and the Democrat Speaker of the House make a big point of their alleged faithfulness to their Catholic faith while promoting and practicing grave sins.

Nor should it be any surprise that Biden’s choice as running mate is a bare-faced, anti-Catholic bigot.

  • As a U.S. Senator, Kamala Harris denounced Brian Buscher as unfit for the office of district judge by virtue of his membership in the Knights of Columbus, which is known for its charity, spirituality, and support for Catholic doctrine.
  • As California’s Attorney General, Kamala Harris used her power to destroy a deal that would have rescued six Catholic hospitals from bankruptcy.
  • As a devout Democrat, she favors legal abortion up to birth and forcing taxpayers to foot the bill. She has voted twice against Born Alive Infant Protection bills that would ensure that babies who lived through abortion procedures get medical care.

As politicians and public figures, Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are not as blatantly anti-Catholic, yet both are serial liars with long histories of supporting abortion.

Catholics are supposed to be faithful to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, which are clearly spelled out for us in The Holy Bible and The Catechism of the Catholic Church, plus elaborated upon in myriad encyclicals and ecumenical and synodal council documents.

Catholics are not only responsible for giving assent to the teachings of the RCC, but also for understanding the teachings. In addition, where we get stuck on a particular issue, we have an additional responsibility to make a genuine and prayerful effort to form our consciences in order to align them with the teaching.

This would involve reading not just what, but also why the RCC teachings whatever it is we are having difficulty with, discussing it with priests or faithful Catholics, and praying for the graces needed to align our consciences with the teaching.

This would also involve keeping our big, fat mouths shut about our defects of conscience, because Jesus Himself taught, “Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal comes.” – Matthew 18:7

Scandal has been defined in the Church’s tradition as an act or omission on our part that, through our bad example, leads another to commit sin or lose faith. We will be judged by God alone not only for what we believe and for how we behaved, but also for how we influenced others to believe and behave.

With regard to abortion, any Catholic is automatically excommunicated who:

  • procures or helps or coerces another to procure an abortion;
  • performs or helps another to perform an abortion;
  • denies that abortion is always gravely immoral;
  • asserts that a person can, in good conscience, choose abortion;
  • publicly supports and/or argues in favor of the morality of abortion;
  • publicly supports and/or argues in favor of legal abortion.

2020_08 20 LeGend

OPERATION LEGEND: In July, the Trump administration started this program to send federal agents to cities with ongoing violent protests to help local law enforcement and to protect federal property.

To date: At least 1,000 have been arrested, more than 200 people have been charged with a federal crime, and roughly 400 firearms have been confiscated.

The effort was named in honor of 4-year-old LeGend Taliferro, who was shot and killed in the early morning hours of June 29 as he lay sleeping at his home in Kansas City, Mo.

Last week, a prosecutor announced second-degree murder charges against his accused killer.

2020_08 19 Trump v Napoleon

WALK AWAY: Hi all. I just retired after serving with the NYC Police Department for 38years. Never in all my year’s of serving, have I ever experienced what our law enforcement officers are going through now. Not only is it an absolute disgrace, it is extremely scary.

The police are this country’s first line of defense. If the Democrats have their way, the officers’ ability to do their job and protect us will be taken away. In NYC, officers are actually worried about countering force with force because of the restraints that have been put on them.

Shootings and homicides are going through the roof, and our Democratic mayor and governor are afraid to take the steps necessary to remedy the situation. If Biden somehow makes it into the White House, we as a country will never recover.

Please pray for our officers, our military and our president.

This is another point upon which Trump is not a Napoleonic dictator … or Hitler or Stalin or any of the other government-sponsored thugs who refused to allow the populace to bear arms.

MICHELLE OBAMA: Most of the speeches from the DNC last night were a true snooze. Let’s just be frank. It looked like most of them dialed it in and they couldn’t even be bothered to update their speeches. Some of them, like Michelle Obama, didn’t even mention Kamala Harris. Why? Because she hadn’t even been picked when Obama taped her speech and she couldn’t be bothered to update it and include a piece on her.” – Nick Arama at Red State
