Seven toxic chemicals commonly found in fabric softeners:

1. Alpha-Terpineol: This causes central nervous system disorders and can also cause loss of muscular coordination, central nervous system depression, and headache.

2. Benzyl Alcohol: This causes central nervous system disorders, headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, central nervous system depression, and, in severe cases, death.

3. Camphor: This is on the US EPA’s Hazardous Waste list. It is a central nervous system stimulant that causes dizziness, confusion, nausea, twitching muscles, and convulsions.

4. Chloroform: This is on the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list. It is neurotoxic and carcinogenic.

5. Ethyl Acetate: This is on the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list. It is a narcotic. It may cause headaches and narcosis (stupor).

6. Linalool: This is a narcotic that causes central nervous system disorders. In studies of animals, it caused ataxic gait (loss of muscular coordination), reduced spontaneous motor activity, and depression.

7. Pentane: This causes headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, and loss of consciousness. Repeated inhalation of vapors causes central nervous system depression.

Seven To Do List Mistakes

1. Writing The List In The Morning

Writing the list at the end of the day allows you to leave work behind and transition into personal time. When you have settled on what tomorrow will look like, you can forget about work and give your whole self to your loved ones.

2. Including Too Many Tasks

Limit your list to tasks you can realistically accomplish in the three to six good hours of work most of us have each day.  If you’re bad at estimating how long things take, write your best guess next to each item when you make the list.  When you complete each task, note how long it took.  This will guide you in making future estimates more accurate.

3. Including Someday Items

Daily to-do lists should be focused. If you have a big project that will take many days, weeks, or months, make a comprehensive project plan in which you break the giant task down into small, daily-do-able tasks.  As your daily schedule allows, transfer these small tasks one-by-one to your daily to-do list.  At the end of a day when you complete one of these small task, you get to cross it off TWO lists. 🙂

4. Treating Each Item Equally

If it’s not a priority, it should not be on your daily to-do list. If you have too many priority items, delegate. If you’ve got non-priority items you would like to get to if your day allows time, make a separate Round Tuit list.

5. Not Being Specific

When writing your list, be as specific as you can be, so that when you’re taking on a task on the fly, you won’t have to waste time thinking how to do it.  You can just get it done.  Big picture words like “plan,” “implement,” and “develop” should only appear in the titles of your project plans.

6. Using The Same List Until It’s Done

Every evening, go over that day’s to-do list. Pat yourself on the back for how much you accomplished and note where you under-estimated the time a task would take or where you should have delegated a task. Then make a fresh list for the next day.

7. Not Linking Your List And Calendar

Coordinate your appointments calendar and your to-do list so you don’t sabotage your to-do plans by forgetting how much time has already been committed.

Taking the Hate WAY TOO FAR

Rebecca Crowder, executive director of Lily’s Place in Huntington, is featured in a White House promotional video published Friday, Jan. 26, 2018.

Hundreds of “Love Trumps Haters” TRASHED her for being happy that FLOTUS Melania Trump had come to the facility to meet the staff and newborn patients in person and that President Trump and his administration have shown continued interest in helping the facility.

Crowder’s life is dedicated to helping sick newborns, tiny babies born with “neonatal abstinence syndrome” or NAS, a group of problems that occurs in newborns who were exposed to addictive opiate drugs before birth.

“Honestly, I’m scared for what our world has become – that you can’t watch that video and think about those babies,” Crowder said. “Instead, people were mean, ugly and nasty. They got personal. They don’t know me.

Nevertheless, she stands by her praise for the administration’s consistent support. “I will never apologize for whatever I have to do to take care of these babies.”

“I don’t care what administration it is. If they’re doing something good, let’s acknowledge that good instead of focusing on all the hate.”

“I get it – people feel very passionate about politics or Trump or whoever. But the reality is this is the first administration that has stepped up to help us. And don’t think I didn’t try with the last (administration). They just weren’t as receptive to me.”

Church History: Saints Sixtus and Lawrence

Saints Sixtus and Lawrence

Emperor Valerian had initially been peaceable toward the Christian Church. But in 257, after he had become paranoid that his friendliness had angered the gods, he instituted a violent persecution that lasted for three years and six months.

St. Sixtus II was elected to the papacy in secret on August 30, 257. He was known for being a “good and peaceful priest,” according to Pontius, his biographer.

On August 6, 258, imperial soldiers caught Pope Sixtus II celebrating an illegal Mass in a chapel in the catacombs. To prevent massacre of the faithful, Sixtus and his deacons surrendered. Sixtus was beheaded the same day.

Lawrence, one of his deacons, was martyred four days later, on August 10, 258. Legend has it that, while being grilled alive, he told his executioners, “Turn me over. I’m done on this side.”

Liberals aren’t NICE any more – UPDATED

When I was growing up in an Ivy League college town in the 60s, those who self-identified as “liberal” prided themselves not just on being the NICE people, but also on being the BRAVE people.

Liberals were the ones who marched and protested on behalf of society’s victims, often in the face of police and mob brutality.

That’s all changed now.

Case in point:

During the recent Women’s March, one hundred members of the college pro-life group Created Equal staged a counter-protest on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial

To witness to the carnage visited upon unborn children, over half of them baby girls, Created Equal’s representatives carried posters showing actual images of dismembered dead babies and women who were killed during legal abortions.

Pro-abortion Women’s Marchers barraged these brave young people with verbal abuse and sexual harassment.

Rachel Burkey, 21, of Fort Wayne, Indiana told LifeSiteNews that an older woman made a crass sexual overture to one of pro-life girls: “At one point a middle-aged woman walked up to one of our female volunteers, and while reaching towards her groin, aggressively and repeatedly said, ‘Can I grab your p***y?’”

Also this:

A train carrying GOPers to a week-end retreat collided with a dump truck and one person was killed. A guy who sometimes writes for CNN tweeted: “God is working hard today to clean up the stink. Thank her.”

Chain migration may involve international migration, but the term is also applied to migration within a nation, say from a rural setting to an urban setting.

Words matter. The Left has already hijacked and made over too much of our language to advance their policies. Don’t let them get away with turning “chain migration” into a racist epithet.

Evil and Out of Touch with America

A majority of Americans approved of President Trump’s SOTU speech. But Democrats in the audience refused to even APPLAUD when he mentioned issues that have (or should have) bipartisan support.

I’m beyond disgusted, but I’m not sure what else I should have expected from 21st century Democrats.

When Bush was president, CIA interrogators poured water on the faces of three terrorists faces (for about five minutes total) to scare them into talking.

Years after it had been done and the information obtained saved lives, Democrats decided to make a huge stink about how eeeevil waterboarding is and how eeeevil it was of Bush and the military for allowing it to be done.

Lost on the Left were the FACTS that:

  • Waterboarding detainees was and is illegal without specific approval from the congressional oversight committee.
  • Democrats in the congressional oversight committee, including Nancy Pelosi, voted to allow it in three specific cases.
  • It is illegal for the military to waterboard detainees. (The CIA does it.)

Democrats in the 115th Congress … including Nancy Pelosi … have now voted IN FAVOR OF allowing pain-capable, unborn human beings to be torn limb from limb.

  • Just to clarify, pouring water on someone’s face is scary and uncomfortable, but it does NO PERMANENT DAMAGE.  During the stupid brouhaha about waterboarding, protesters actually demonstrated waterboarding on THEMSELVES.
  • Abortion, on the other hand, is not only unspeakably painful for pain-capable fetuses, but also entirely and permanently LETHAL. I’m not seeing any pro-abort protesters volunteering to be dismembered, are you?

So let’s just sum up the Democrat Party’s positions:

  • Pouring water on the faces of evil people is evil.
  • Ripping the arms and legs off of innocent people is compassionate.

Also, a majority of Americans APPROVE of banning pain-capable fetuses … just like a majority of Americans APPROVED of President Trump’s speech.
