“I found myself sympathizing with Mike Huckabee when he came in for a hailstorm of criticism for saying that the deal Obama cut with Iran will lead the Jews to the oven.
“Even some Republicans took him to task for suggesting that Obama was no better than Hitler. Of course he’s better than Hitler. Whereas Hitler actually used the ovens to exterminate six million Jews, Obama was merely providing Iran with the means and the money with which to annihilate six million Jews.
“Still, Huckabee was off base when he referred to ovens. After all, Iran’s plan is to nuke Israel. Therefore, the kitchen appliance he should have referred to is a microwave.”

Iowa is the state right next to mine. It is about 60 miles west of where I live. I’ve had occasion to visit it numerous times. I realized it was a pretty large tract of land. I never imagined it would be big enough to hold the massive egos of Killary and The Donald at the same time! They both visited the state fair on Saturday.
The Butcher of Benghazi spent 1 1/2 hours pretending to be a champion of “the little people” before she jetted off to Martha’s Vineyard to join Bent Penis and the current House Negroes. She eschewed the press shouting questions, preferring to spout her lies then walk away.

Occasional golf partners, Obama and Clinton had crossed paths the day before as both played separately on another golf course on the Vineyard. Rounding out their foursome on the waterside course Saturday were former Ambassador Ron Kirk and civil rights figure Vernon Jordan. Both Clintons were on the guest list for Jordan’s 80th birthday party on Saturday night, along with the president, first lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia
Donald Trump breaks the rules at the Iowa State Fair
There are a few golden rules when it comes to campaigning in Iowa: never arrive by helicopter, leave your entourage at home and don’t skip the Des Moines Register soapbox, even if you have to brave hecklers.
But the normal rules of politics don’t apply to Donald Trump, who broke all of them during his visit to the Iowa State Fair on Saturday.
Trump made a grand entrance by touching down in a $7 million helicopter. He was thronged by supporters as he walked the fairgrounds and eschewed the soapbox — where Iowans are encouraged to shout questions to candidates — in favor of often random interactions with voters.
The day provided the latest illustration of how Trump, the GOP presidential frontrunner, is upending the race by ignoring conventional wisdom and running his campaign exactly how he wants to. The strategy stood in sharp contrast to Hillary Clinton, who lost the caucuses here in 2008 after she also broke some of this state’s cherished rules.
She took fewer risks on Saturday….

For the record, I think his 2008 statement was mega stupid. People need vacations if they’re going to stay sharp. I think he said it, not because he intended to work 24-7, but because the Left was making a big hairy deal out of how many days Dubya had spent at his ranch in Texas.
Biiiiig difference, folks, is that once the ranch was established as a presidential retreat (comms, security), it didn’t cost anything extra for him to go there. But when Obama goes on vacation, they have to pull out all the stops every single time … security scouting, renting facilities for his family and his entire team, flying his motorcade vehicles to and from, setting up the comms a president has to have. Then, there are all the times that Her Highness has decided she can’t deal with flying on the same plane as him, so she demands a separate flight … which we pay for.
As for golf… Dubya quit playing golf because we were at war and he didn’t feel right about bereaved family members seeing him on the links. The Left scorned this decision, because “big deal, who cares if he does or doesn’t play golf?” But now that Obama plays as often as possible … sometimes causing tremendous inconvenience to others* … the Left swoons about how great golf is for helping a president relax from the stresses of his big, important job.
*One of Obama’s games forced a couple to rearrange their wedding plans. Another forced military members to abandon their families on Christmas day. What can I conclude from this except that he is both a liar and a self-centered bastard?

New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman asked Clinton, “When you look at your time as Secretary of State, what are you most proud of, and what do you feel was unfinished, maybe love to have another crack at someday?”
TRANSCRIPT HILLARY: “Look, I really see my role as Secretary, in fact leadership in general in a democracy, as a relay race. When you run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton. Some of what hasn’t been finished may go on to be finished, so when President Obama asked me to be Secretary of State I agreed.
IF HILLARY HAD BEEN HONEST: I was Obama’s Secretary of State.
TRANSCRIPT HILLARY: “We had the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, we had two wars. We had continuing threats from all kinds of corners around the world that we had to deal with. So it was a perilous time frankly.

IF HILLARY HAD BEEN HONEST: While I was President Obama’s Secretary of State, Russia invaded the Ukraine and we did nothing; 4 Americans, including an ambassador, were slaughtered and we both lied about it; Syria “crossed the red line” and and we did nothing; Iran continued to work on developing nuclear weapons and we did nothing; China got feisty with its neighbors and we did nothing; North Korea threatened South Korea and Japan and we did nothing; Venezuela cracked down on democracy protestors and we did nothing; Muslim extremism increased and spread globally and we did nothing.
TRANSCRIPT HILLARY: “I think we really restored American leadership in the best sense. That, once again — people began to rely on us as setting the values, setting the standards. I just don’t want to lose that because we have a dysfunctional political situation in Washington. IF HILLARY HAD BEEN HONEST: Obama and I managed to make America into a laughing stock around the world. Our friends don’t trust us any more. Our enemies take what they want, knowing we won’t do a thing to stop them. The only values and standards we set were the ones marked “Destroy America” and for that I’m really proud, because taking down the free and independent United States of America is what Progressives have been working toward for the past 100 years.
In the CNN clip linked below, President Obama ignores the Marine’s salute as he hops aboard MH-1. Then it appears as if he is refused entry, possibly by the pilot, at which point, he goes back out and faces the Marine on the ground. But instead of properly saluting, he shakes the Marine’s hand. May I just take a moment to say how much I loathe having this [expletives deleted] commanding my children!!!!!!!!!!!

The Israeli National News pointed out this morning that in his speech yesterday at the American University in Washington, “Obama told U.S. Jewish leaders it was likely rockets would fall on Tel Aviv if the nuclear deal was blocked and military action ensued.” Statements like this amount to dangerous verbal hostage-taking as Congress considers the Administration’s Iran deal. Saying outright that rockets would fly if Congress fails to do what he wants is nothing more than a threat, and Israeli writers like former New Yorker Batya Medad see that for what it is. In her words and the words of the INN editors, Obama was “justifying” Iranian hostilities before the fact, and giving them a clear “green light.” She adds: “… it’s very clear that the Obama government trusts and likes Iran and its leaders a lot more than it likes Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu.” Indeed.
Meanwhile, as John Kerry decides whether he thinks Iran is serious about annihilating Israel, Israel diplomatic channels were busy this morning informing the US Congress about satellite photos indicating that Iran is sanitizing the suspected nuclear military site at Parchin, in broad daylight, even as the accord was being signed days ago.
