Thursday Grab Bag

The landlord is replacing the kitchen floor today. The only exit from our apartment is through the kitchen, so I have a cooler with some food and drink. I can’t leave the mancave, so here we are. It seems that a few more people are commenting if all the links aren’t buried in the reply section. I try to keep posts topical, but it doesn’t always work out that way.
We have been nominated for another Paul Revere award this year, but the competition is as stiff as my joints after sitting here for hours. Time will tell.

House Oversight Committee votes to censure IRS Commissioner

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee voted to approve a resolution designed to censure IRS Commissioner John Koskinen. The Committee announced the vote and the reasons behind it in a press release:

The Resolution expresses the sense of the House that Mr. Koskinen engaged in a pattern of conduct inconsistent with the trust and confidence placed in him as an Officer of the United States, urges Mr. Koskinen’s resignation or removal, and requires forfeiture of his government pension and any other federal benefits for which he is eligible.

Chairman Jason Chaffetz tells The Hill that this is the first step toward impeachment, but this sense of the House vote does not require any follow up from the Senate:

ABC 7 news has confirmed the Amarillo Police Department has evacuated people, shooter is believed to have taken hostages.

Amarillo police say an armed Walmart employee likely upset for being passed over for a promotion took two people hostage before being shot and killed by officers inside the store near Interstate 27 and Georgia Street.

3 dead, 23 wounded in Chicago shootings Monday

Only a really twisted mind could ever equate the ultimate male fantasy of the 70’s with the Stygian witches who do the bidding of She Who Must Be Protected. This is what we have come to, ladies and gentlemen.
If you recall, the premise was a mysterious man named Charlie (voice of John Forsythe, but you already knew that) who recruited three police women and turned them into a team of super crime fighters. Any male awash with testosterone during those times who tells you he didn’t have the infamous Farrah Fawcett poster on his wall is probably lying to you.

They did a remake of this classic in the 1990’s, but like most imitations it paled in comparison to the real deal.

Now comes the most hateful criminal whoever donned a polyester pantsuit, Hilly Von Pukestain. She recruited her ‘angels’ and put them in positions to wield power and most of all, protect her. They are fiercely loyal and any attempt to dissuade them aiding and abetting her criminality would be futile.

First is Cheryl Mills.I have no idea what she ever did on her own, don’t much care.

Second is Body Girl and alleged lover, Iranian Muslim, mated with the New York Adam’s Apple, Carlos Danger, AKA Bony Tony Weiner, Huma Abedin.

Last but not least, The Enforcer. The one charged with rigging the primaries for her boss to be exalted to the throne she reckons is rightfully hers. Her services have no doubt made her enough money to keep her in organic hair mayonnaise and heavy duty marital aids for a very long time. The one. The only (thank goodness). Rumors she has a love child with Alan Grayson have never been proven.

Look, y’all, I have a reputation and I try to live down to it as often as possible. If you want intelligent, cogent thought, read Victor Davis Hanson or Clarice Feldman. I’m an idiot…but you already knew that.

Sept 10, 2015: Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said that the abbreviated Democratic presidential debate schedule vill not be changed!  Also, they vill be punishing any candidates who try to participate in unsanctioned debates.

Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley criticized the Democrat debate schedule on MSNBC:

“Telling New Hampshire they can only have one before New Hampshire, telling Iowa only one day before Iowa — that’s never happened before. And I think people find it insulting. It’s beneath us as a party.”

Martin, Martin … you do realize your party fully supports dismembering pain-capable human babies in the womb and murdering any of the little buggers who don’t come out dead as planned? How in Hell could ANYTHING be “beneath” you people?

As for insulting ::coughcough:: … methinks the quality of your candidates is what is really insulting, plus a darn good reason to limit public debates.  Maybe all y’all could consider propping some standees of the candidates up on a stage and have them take turns spouting pre-recorded Democrat talking points at regular intervals?

Hillary Clinton: 100% PRO-ABORTION

Clinton is taking the Debbie Wasserman Schultz position on the dismemberment of pain-capable babies. According to both of these TOP women in Democrat Party leadership, the “government should have NO role” in deciding where, when or how the lives of unborn babies get snuffed out.

Clinton also condemned the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision that upheld the conscience and religious rights of Pro-Life business owners to refuse to pay for abortifacient drugs. So obviously she believes government SHOULD have a role in deciding what religious beliefs and freedoms are acceptable and which must be violated and/or forcibly changed.

And just to be clear …

  • This isn’t just about Debbie and Hillary.
  • This is the POLICY of the DEMOCRAT PARTY.

Maybe Debbie’s real problem with Marco is that she’s a RAAAAAAAAAAACIST.  I mean … a person can’t possibly disagree with someone else’s political positions, right?  It’s ALWAYS gotta be about their race or gender or age or sexual orientation, right?

Democrat Party is wayyyy outside the mainstream

The Democrat Party supports NO restrictions on abortion.

They and their media lapdogs have labored to convince Americans that their position is “mainstream America” and that anyone (like Rand Paul) who supports restrictions is a flaming, extremist, woman-hating, whack job.

But the TRUTH is … support for unrestricted abortion has ALWAYS been well outside the mainstream.

In fact, at NO TIME in the past forty years, has a majority of Americans supported the hard-line NO RESTRICTIONS WHATSOEVER, which has been the Democratic Party Platform for years.

Megyn Kelly asked Democrat Chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, if she would approve of the abortion of a 7-pound baby.

DWS refused to respond, so Megyn asked if she’d approve of abortion “on a whim.”

DWS responded, “Certainly not on a whim.” But she couldn’t name a single reason that was important enough to her to compel the state to get involved in protecting an unborn child’s very existence.

Next time you start wondering if Democrats and their lapdog media really are biased not just to the left of, but to the FAR left of mainstream America, listen for a while to what they say and do not say about abortion.

When Debbie got back to Rand

Reporter: “Would you support any exceptions to a ban on abortions?”

Rand Paul: “In general, I am pro-life. So I will support legislation that advances and shows that life is special and deserves protection.”

Reporter: “Should there be any exemptions or not?”

Rand Paul: “Why don’t we ask the DNC: Is it okay to kill a seven-pound baby in the uterus? You go back and you ask Debbie Wasserman Schultz if she’s OK with killing a seven-pound baby that is not born yet. Ask her when life begins, and you ask Debbie when it’s okay to protect life. When you get an answer from Debbie, get back to me.”

Debbie tweeted her response: “I support letting women and their doctors make this decision without government getting involved. Period. End of story.”

Rand tweeted too: “It sounds like her answer is yes, that she’s OK with killing a 7-pound baby.”

When FACEPALM is not enough

A majority of Americans support restrictions on abortion that are favored by Republican candidates,

  • such as requiring health inspections and hospital privileges for out-patient abortion clinics,
  • such as requiring waiting periods, ultrasounds and parental notification for abortions on minors;
  • such as banning abortion after 20 weeks gestation because fetuses not only feel pain, but experience it more intensely than we do, because they have not yet developed the ability to filter out stimuli.

It’s an undeniable fact that late-term abortions are barbaric procedures that make water-boarding and capital punishment pale in comparison, but ask Debbie Democrat to discuss the issue honestly and what does she do?

She plays the “You’re a meanie pants MAN” card.

Specifically, she told Rand, “I’d appreciate it if you could respond without ’shushing’ me.”

But how did he “shush” her?

All he did was ask her legitimate questions that she didn’t want to answer honestly. Most people call that kind of thing “having a mature discussion.”  But you know Democrats; treat one of THEIR females as a true equal in the rough-and-tumble game of national politics and they hit the fainting couch.

“Oh noes! He gave me the back of his hand! He tried to shush me! Get me the smelling salts!”

It’s pathetic.
