Trump’s Budget

Budget Blueprint for 2018:

• provides for one of the largest increases in defense spending without increasing the debt;
• significantly increases the budget for immigration enforcement at the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security;
• includes  additional  resources  for  a  wall  on  the  southern  border  with  Mexico,  immigration  judges,  expanded  detention  capacity,  U.S.  Attorneys,  U.S.  Immigration  and  Customs Enforcement, and Border Patrol;
• increases funding to address violent crime and reduce opioid abuse; and
• puts America first by keeping more of America’s hard-earned tax dollars here at home.

Mitt Romney said during his 2012 presidential campaign that the test of a program’s value was whether it was “so critical that it’s worth borrowing money from China to pay for it.”

White House budget Director Mike Mulvaney said Thursday during an appearance on “Fox & Friends”, “The president finally got to the point where he said, ‘Do I really want to make the coal miner in West Virginia, or the auto worker in Ohio, or the single mom in Detroit to pay for the National Endowment of the Arts or the Corporation for Public Broadcasting?’ And the answer is no.”

2017_03 18 Trump and Big Bird

Radio show host Glenn Beck, a longtime Trump critic, on proposed budget cuts: “I am so pro-Trump right now.”  We shouldn’t be using public monies to pay for shows like “Sesame Street” which “makes more money than any other show.”  Or NPR, which “is the No. 1 podcast. They’re No. 1 in many, many cities on radio [and] their television shows are now being sold all around the world.”

House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said the budget was a shift in the right direction after eight years of Democratic blueprints from the White House.

Sen. John McCain said the “budget proposed today cannot pass the Senate” because the increase in defense does not go far enough.

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer of New York signaled that Democrats would fight the proposal tooth-and-nail.

Resist We Much

What is happening here is blatantly obvious. The democrats, allied with a hyper-partisan judiciary, are conspiring to completely neuter President Trump by interfering with every lawful order he issues. What they are attempting to do, in essence, is usurp his authority to run the country by leftist judicial fiat. Trump must ignore this illegal restraining order to take back the powers granted to him by the Constitution to defend this country from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

From Powerline:
What we are seeing here is a coup: a coup by the New Class; by the Democratic Party; by far leftists embedded in the bureaucracy and the federal judiciary. Our duly elected president has issued an order that is plainly within his constitutional powers, and leftists have conspired to abuse legal processes to block it. They are doing so in order to serve the interests of the Democratic Party and the far-left movement. This is the most fundamental challenge to democracy in our lifetimes.
The battle lines are clearly drawn. What Watson has done has nothing to do with the law. It is a partisan coup, and must be resisted.

More on the Left’s Judicial Coup
Two federal judges, one in Hawaii and one in Maryland, have enjoined execution of President Trump’s travel order. These court orders are obviously illegal and unconstitutional. Under the Constitution and federal law, the president has the power to suspend immigration from any and all countries if he deems it in the best interest of the United States.
The net result is that Trump has been stripped of his constitutional and statutory powers to protect the nation through control of who is permitted to enter the country.
***
As discussed in prior posts, the power to control who enters the country is uniquely a presidential power. Not anymore, unless the Supreme Court acts to restore that power.
I disagree to this extent: the moment the next Democratic president is inaugurated, the executive’s constitutional powers will magically be restored and, indeed, extended.
Arguably President Trump has a duty to disregard the Hawaii and Maryland courts’ illegal injunctions, and direct the executive branch to carry out his order. His obligation under the Constitution is to exercise his powers in defense of the American people.

THIS WILL UNDOUBTEDLY END UP AT THE SUPREME COURT, EVEN BEFORE THE HEARINGS ON NEIL GORSUCH. WHAT THAT MEANS IS THAT THE COURT MAY EITHER DECLINE TO HEAR IT OR SPLIT 4-4, LEAVING THE TRO IN PLACE. IT’S A SAFE BET THAT, EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A SLAM DUNK, THERE IS NO WAY BREYER, BROOMHILDA THE WITCH, OR HER TWO UGLY SISTERS WILL GIVE A FAIR DECISION WHEN IT COMES TO DONALD TRUMP.
THE SUPREMES VOTED 9-0 IN 2012 TO HOLD OBAMA’S NON-RECESS RECESS APPOINTMENTS TO THE LABOR BOARD WERE UNCONSTITUTIONAL. WHAT DID HE DO? RAISE HIS MIDDLE FINGER, SMILE, AND SAY ‘FUCK YOU,’ AND HIS HAND-PICKED UNION THUGS WERE STILL SERVING WHEN HE LEFT OFFICE. TRUMP MUST DO ESSENTIALLY THE SAME THING, BUT WITHOUT THE FINGER. OUR SECURITY DEPENDS ON IT.

Trump’s Refugee Order Looms Large Over Gorsuch Hearing
The ongoing legal battle over President Donald Trump’s executive order on refugee and migrants may dominate next week’s hearings on Judge Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to succeed the late Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court.
“You can find example after example of Judge Gorsuch siding against workers even in the most dire circumstances,” she said.
Trump’s revised executive order on refugee and migrants, and two new court orders temporarily enjoining its enforcement, could hijack the hearing and dominate the proceedings.

Judge Considers Ordering President Donald Trump to Double 50,000 Refugee Inflow to the United States
A federal District Court judge in Maryland is considering whether he should order President Donald Trump to double the annual inflow of refugees up to 100,000 per year.
Any demand by the judge that the federal government airbus an extra 50,000 migrants — including many adherents of Islam’s sharia legal system — into American neighborhoods would be an unusual intervention into government roles normally left to the elected President and Congress.

5 Problems With The Hawaii Judge Halting Trump’s Travel Ban
The executive order, which was a loosened version of a previous version struck down by another court, suspends entry to the United States for 90 days from nationals of Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. It also suspends the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program for 120 days.
“This is an unprecedented judicial overreach,” Trump said of Judge Derrick Watson’s order, during a rally in Nashville.
Whether you agree or disagree with the executive order — and there are plenty of people on both sides of that debate, for many different reasons — the judge’s ruling has some serious problems. Here are a few of them.

YOU MAY NOT HAVE HEARD THIS… THAT’S WHY YOU COME HERE

Plaintiff behind Trump travel ban runs Muslim Brotherhood mosque
Imam born and raised in Egypt, migrated to U.S.
Imam Ismail Elshikh, 39, leads the largest mosque in Hawaii and claims he is suffering “irreparable harm” from the president’s executive order, which places a 90-day ban on travel to the U.S. from six countries.
One of those six countries is Syria. Elshikh’s mother in law is Syrian and would not be able to visit her family in Hawaii for 90 days if Trump’s ban were allowed to go into effect.
Hawaii’s Obama-appointed federal judge, Derrick Watson, made sure the ban did not go into effect, striking it down Wednesday while buying Hawaii’s claim that it amounts to a “Muslim ban.” The state’s attorney general, along with co-plaintiff Elshikh, claims the ban would irreparably harm the state’s tourism industry and its Muslim families.

SPLIT IT: Congress Considers Splitting The 9th Circuit
Judges Sidney Thomas, Carlos Bea, and Alex Kozinski give testimony before a House panel on splitting the 9th Circuit.
Democrats on the subcommittee argued that the administrative and logistical concerns Republican lawmakers raised were little more than a thin veneer masking their ideological hostility to the court.
“Like clockwork we see proposals to split the 9th Circuit whenever it hands down decisions with which conservatives disagree,” said Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler.
“The 9th Circuit has long been in the sights of Republican politicians,” he added.

Let the Budget Battle Begin

The president will reveal his budget today. Much of what he is proposing is already known. The democrat objections are pre-written and Kermit and Big Bird are ready to go on TV and whine about having their funding cut. From all quarters of the liberal world will come a hue and cry not heard by anybody who has not thrown boiling water on a cat or been in close proximity to a slaughterhouse. It is predictable as the sunrise.

Trump budget expected to seek historic contraction of federal workforce
President Trump’s budget proposal this week would shake the federal government to its core if enacted, culling back numerous programs and expediting a historic contraction of the federal workforce.
This would be the first time the government has executed cuts of this magnitude — and all at once — since the drawdown following World War II, economists and budget analysts said.

The America First budget: Trump wants $1.5 BILLION for the wall and cash for the military but will slash foreign aid and eliminate funding for PBS and NPR
Trump will release a budget blueprint today that makes cuts to discretionary spending to fund his border wall and the military build-up he’s been promising
State Department is cut deepest with a 28% reduction to its foreign aid division
The Environmental Protection Agency and the Housing and Urban Development Department are also expected to suffer
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which provides support to NPR and PBS, will see its funding phased out
Trump’s budget may not make it past the House and Senate – a top Republican has said it’s ‘dead on arrival’
Dramatic cuts make way room for $1.5B for his wall with Mexico in 2018 and $54 billion for defense without adding to the federal deficit

VICTIMS ON PARADE

Trump’s First Budget Promises To Beef Up National Security, Dramatically Cut Domestic Spending
If you find a $54 billion addition, you will find a $54 billion reduction,” he said. “We have simply not added to the deficit in order to accomplish these policies. You’ll see reductions in the State Department, the Environmental Protection Agency, and in many agencies, as he tries to shrink the role of the federal government.”

The way this works is Trump proposes his budget to actually bring some sanity to federal spending. This,of course, will never fly.Taxpayer giveaways are the mothers’ milk of politics, especially in the democrat party. There will be argument over cuts, the left will threaten to shut down the government and with the help of the media whores republicans will be blamed. It’s happened before and the GOP has always backed down.it will be interesting to see how this president handles it.

Unprecedented Judicial Overreach

This is an elaboration on the post by Chrissy the Swift.

MEET U.S. DISTRICT JUDGE DERRICK WATSON:
He is a democrat activist who was appointed by Barack Obama in 2012. He has taken it upon himself to usurp the exclusive authority to act on matters of national security. His ruling prevents the executive order from going into effect Thursday.

More than half a dozen states are trying to stop the ban, and federal courts in Maryland, Washington state and Hawaii heard arguments Wednesday about whether it should be put into practice.

Hawaii argued that the ban discriminates on the basis of nationality and would prevent Hawaii residents from receiving visits from relatives in the six mostly Muslim countries covered by the ban.

STANDARD DEMOCRAT PRACTICE IS TO PUSH THEIR AGENDA THROUGH THE JUDICIARY WHEN THEY CAN’T GET IT DONE LEGISLATIVELY.

Legal Insurrection explains it far better than I can.

Hawaii TRO and 9th Circuit En Banc Denial effectively strip Trump of Executive Powers
The federal district court in Hawaii issued a TRO and the 9th Circuit denied en banc hearing of the first appeal. Both Orders are embedded in full at the bottom of this post.
The net result is that Trump has been stripped of his constitutional and statutory powers to protect the nation through control of who is permitted to enter the country.
I warned about this, and the danger of Trump not seeking Supreme Court review in the first case, President Trump must not back down on immigration Executive Order:
The decision of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to leave in place a broad Temporary Restraining Order freezing President Trump’s Executive Order on visas and refugees presents a serious threat to the constitutional and statutory authority of the presidency.
The short version of the decision is that Trump said bad things on the campaign trail, so anything he does that disproportionately affects Muslims seeking to enter the country must be motivated by religious bias. The district court wrote:
The Court turns to whether Plaintiffs sufficiently establish a likelihood of success on the merits of their Count I claim that the Executive Order violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. Because a reasonable, objective observer—enlightened by the specific historical context, contemporaneous public statements, and specific sequence of events leading to its issuance—would conclude that the Executive Order was issued with a purpose to disfavor a particular religion, in spite of its stated, religiously-neutral purpose, the Court finds that Plaintiffs, and Dr. Elshikh in particular, are likely to succeed on the merits of their Establishment Clause claim.

Judge’s ruling to block second travel ban is ‘unprecedented judicial overreach’
The president then said the first executive order, which was blocked by a federal judge’s order that was upheld by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, “should have never been blocked to start with.”

TRUMP WATERED DOWN THE ORIGINAL TRAVEL BAN IN AN EFFORT TO PLEASE THE BLOATED GASBAGS ON THE 9TH CIRCUS. NOTHING HE CAN DO WILL EVER SATISFY THEM EXCEPT RESIGN FROM OFFICE.

The new order, he said, “was tailored to the dictates of the Ninth Circuit in my opinion, flawed, ruling. This is the opinion of many, and “unprecedented judicial overreach.”

Trump: Ruling is an “unprecedented judicial overreach”

Robert Barnes: Hawaii Obama Judge Rules Muslim Imam Has Special Constitutional Rights to Bring Anyone from Terror Countries into America
In a ruling issued on Wednesday afternoon, a federal judge, and Obama appointee, prevented the President of the United States from enforcing his own executive order to protect the nation from migrants from terror-riddled countries.
The judge then prevented every other judge and every other state from following the President’s order, the judge making himself a one-man Supreme Court and substitute President.
The judge then held that American universities and immigrants living here can prohibit America from ever limiting immigration from Muslim-heavy countries, claiming the First Amendment gives Muslim-dominant nations a right of immigration to America.
The judge’s ruling is completely lawless, mirroring Obama’s deep state allies in his shadow government’s attempt to sabotage the Trump presidency. There is no precedent for the court’s order. In fact, every precedent is against the court’s order; just read the detailed logic and scholastic citation of proper governing legal authorities from the decision of a moderately liberal Boston judge who upheld every part of Trump’s prior order.

Judges Inventing New Reasons to Obstruct Donald Trump’s Popular Immigration Reforms
Three California judges and a judge in Washington State say the President’s sole right and solemn duty to guard the borders ends when a state suffers financial harm because its universities can’t import more fee-paying customers from restricted countries.
These left-wing judges are competing with each other to throw invented legalistic roadblocks in front of Trump’s legal and proper defense of the nation’s borders, said Hans Von Spakovsky, a former lawyer at the Department of Justice who is now working for the Heritage Foundation.
The judge in Washington State, James Robart, declared Feb. 3 that “the [president’s] executive order adversely effects the State’s residents in areas of employment, education, business, family relations, and freedom to travel. These harms extend to the States by virtue of their roles as parens patriae of the residents living within their borders.”
ROBART WAS SUPPOSED TO ISSUE A RULING ON THE SAME ACTION TODAY. HE’LL PROBABLY PUT HIS DECISION ON HOLD UNTIL HE NEEDS TO JUMP IN AND SCREW THE PRESIDENT AGAIN.

HEY, RACHEL… WHAT’S FOR DINNER?

Color Me Unsurprised

An Obama-appointed judge in Hawaii has placed a nationwide block on President Trump’s revised travel order.

The judge accepted Hawaii’s argument that some of Trump’s campaign rhetoric showed that the intent behind the executive order is to institute a “Muslim ban” which would be a form of religious discrimination.

2017_03 Temp travel ban toon

During a rally in Tennessee just after the ruling was issued, Trump vowed to fight the decision.

We’re going to take our case as far as it needs to go, including all the way up to the Supreme Court. We’re going to win. The danger is clear. The law is clear. The need for my executive order is clear.”

2017_03 15 Judge using campaign rhetoric tweet

If extralegal statements are going to be used for legal decisions such as this one, then it is definitely time to revisit some other executive orders and legislation.

Tweeters helpfully suggested:

  • Like when Obama said he didn’t have the power to do what he eventually did with DACA.
  • Like when Obama and Obamacare’s authors declared the individual mandate was not a tax.
  • Don’t forget LBJ’s social safety programs, which in his own words were about targeting a race of people for political ends.
  • We should challenge every gun control law passed before about 1970.

Butch Maddow Serves Nothingburgers

This is already being compared to the infamous Whorealdo and the Al Capone vault.
Let’s try to start from the beginning:
Clinton ally offers $5M reward in exchange for Trump tax returns
Hillary Clinton ally David Brock is once again offering a reward to anyone who releases President Trump’s tax returns.
Following the White House’s release of Trump’s tax information from 2005 on Tuesday evening ahead of a report from MSNBC, Brock tweeted that he would give $5 million to anyone who would provide Trump’s “complete, legally obtained tax returns.”

NY Times Reporter Tells Deep State to Leak Trump Tax Returns – It Took Them ONE WEEK to Leak Them to Maddow
Last week New York Times reporter Nicholas Kristof urged Deep State employees in the IRS to leak President Donald Trump’s tax returns.
Responding to a remark by a far left Vox editor that “the IRS never leaks,” Nicholas Kristof tweeted, “But, if you’re in the IRS and have a certain president’s tax return that you’d like to leak…”
Tonight Rachel Maddow is going to release President Donald Trump’s tax returns on the air.
Deep State leaked the documents to Maddow.
It took them one week to leak the tax returns to the liberal press.

Rachel Maddow Goes for Ratings Hit by Releasing Trump Taxes… Massively BACKFIRES Instead
It was hyped for hours by the entire liberal fake media complex… MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow had obtained a leaked copy of Donald J. Trump’s tax returns — and would reveal them live on the air Tuesday night. This was it! At last this would be the end for Trump, Democrats buzzed with anticipation like kids on Christmas morning.
But meanwhile the White House had left Maddow looking like a blabbering fool by releasing President Trump’s 2005 tax information before she could leak it.
(The fact he paid income tax at a rate of 4% was blared on the news this morning as: ‘He paid a lower rate than half of America. The fact remains half of America DON’T PAY TAXES! They either don’t make enough or they don’t work, so they just push out kids to collect their EITC.)

David Cay Johnston Is The Reporter Who Received Donald Trump’s Tax Returns
“I was in Palm Beach on the sand looking at Mar-a-Lago, reporting on my next book which is about Trump, when one of my eight grown children informed me of what had come in the mail to my home in Rochester,” Johnston told The Daily Caller in an email Wednesday.

THERE IS STRONG SPECULATION THAT THE TRUMP WHITE HOUSE MAILED HIM THE 1040 FORMS TO PRE-EMPT ANY PHONY EVIDENCE

Rachel Maddow’s career committed suicide live on national TV tonight
Big Trump tax returns “Scoop” flopped, bigly.
TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THAT FACE!
Rachel Maddow has a history of claiming big scoops which then flop.
There was the debunked 2012 big scoop about supposed GOP wrongdoing in Michigan. And the 2014 big scoop that the Koch Brothers were behind Florida groups pushing drug testing for welfare recipients, which was not true. We covered the Florida non-scoop big scoop, Rachel Maddow’s come undone with Koch Derangement Syndrome
THE MOMENT THEY ALL WAITED FOR:

White House Reporter Tweets on Trump’s Tax Return and Beclowns Herself; Lacks Basic Economics Skills
The forms showed that the President made $138 million in 2005 and paid $38 million in taxes that year.
Apparently some in the White House Press Corps are not familiar with taxes or economics. When the forms were released, White House Correspondent and Washington Bureau Chief for American Urban Radio Networks, April Ryan, tweeted:So in 2005 @POTUS was not a Billionaire. He made in 2005 over 100 million dollars.
IF THIS RACIST WHORE WAS WHITE SHE’D BE WORKING AT SEARS
The fact that the President reported over $100 million in one tax year in the 2000’s has no bearing on his net worth. As a matter of fact, there is no information in a tax form 1040 that give you any indication of an individual’s net worth. How could she possibly make this assertion with the information provided?
Also, Ms. Ryan somewhat contradicts herself by noting that the President made over $100 million in 2005. On the one hand she surmises that he’s less than a billionaire but on the other hand she claims he’s gaudy rich making more than $100 million. Which one is it?

AS YOU COULD EXPECT, BUTCH STEPPING ON HER OWN PENIS HAD THE MEME FACTORY WORKING OVERTIME.

There are times the president is truly blessed by the enemies he has. Their blind hatred obstructs their ability to see they are being totally played.

Epic

Snowflakes are flammable

EPIC WHINE: Senator Cory Booker is whining about Republicans shoving their health insurance bill “down our throats.”  Senator Booker, sir, have you forgotten about that time when you Democrats shoved YOUR health insurance bill OUR throats?

EPIC FAIL: Rachel Maddow reported that she had obtained two pages from Trump’s 2005 return. Viewers hoping to hear some dirt on Trump were disappointed, since the pages showed he had paid 25% of his income in taxes that year.  Barack Obama paid 18.7% in 2015.  Bernie Sanders paid 13.5% in 2014.  BTW, it is totally illegal to publish someone’s tax return without his permission.

EPIC VILE: Some feminists, who have apparently misplaced whatever once passed as their souls, staged a mock abortion in front of a church in Argentina. A woman dressed as the Virgin Mary spread her legs and pumped her fist as two other women spilled fake blood and body parts on to the pavement.

EPIC DOLT:  An old surveillance video has been released showing Ferguson police shooting victim Michael Brown overseeing a drug deal.  CNN New Day host Chris Cuomo insisted that just because Brown was seen dealing drugs didn’t mean he was a drug dealer. Uhh, yes, Chris.  It kinda does.

NASA

NASA Kennedy v Obama

President Obama scrapped the space shuttle program and directed NASA to focus on Muslim outreach and Global Warming.  By the time he left office, we were paying the Russian space agency $424 million for six Soyuz seats.

President Trump has made it clear that NASA is going to get back to the real business of space exploration. In his State of the Union speech, he said, “American footprints on distant worlds are not too big a dream.”  And now some of his advisers are signaling that we might go to the moon again.

Trump orders top-to-bottom audit to save money, improve services

Reform govt spending toon

Candidate Obama criticized President Bush for wasting tax dollars and promised he would make the government leaner and more efficient.

Then, the minute he got into office, he increased spending by hundreds of billions.  By the time he left, our debt was DOUBLE what he inherited from Bush.

Candidate Trump promised to cut federal spending and is actually going to do it.

On Monday, March 13, 2017, he ordered an audit of every department and agency to be led by the Office of Management and Budget and include public input.

The goal will be to make every agency leaner and more effective by eliminating redundancies and dropping programs that don’t serve the people.
