RE: THE VAL JAR GRAPHIC
There has been some discussion as to the authenticity of the graphic I posted Monday from Obama’s Muslim soulmate,ValJar. The truth is,I don’t know. As stated,it’s just something I picked up from Facebook. I do not operate as a professional news disseminator who,by the standard of ethics, should get something verified by two independent sources before publishing anything. Granted, the journalistic standard today is bash conservatives, even if you have to make things up and completely ignore the criminal acts of favored liberals. Watch how the Lyin’ Brian story is reported on any news outlet, save Fox News.
It may not seem like it,but I spend an awful lot of time poring over websites looking for things I feel may be of interest to you. As I have stated ad nauseum,I lack the skills of Chrissy,Grunt or Mindful. I can’t take several sources,as CtH does, and add graphics complete with bold print and italics. I can’t photoshop the way Grunt does in his unique personal style. I just do the best I can with what little I have. If it’s not enough,so be it.
The characters in the preceding story are fictional. Any similarity to persons living or dead is purely coincidental.

VICTIM OF VEHICULAR VENDETTA
Ever had a love/hate relationship with a car? Did it seem like every payday, just like clockwork, the damn thing decide to break down at the most inopportune time? When I was in college I worked part time and got paid every 2 weeks. I had a 1960 Mercury comet. The engine had a cracked blocked,so we put in an engine from a Plymouth Valiant. It was a Comet/Valiant hybrid… Vomit for short. Every other Friday…dead battery, starter, alternator, timing chain, fan belt, flat tire. It was possessed by demons.
I’ve had my Ford POS for about a year. I had an issue with the starter sometimes making that zinging noise when I turned the key. Took it to my mechanic and he couldn’t get it to misbehave even once. It’s been OK since. Monday my doorlatch was frozen when I went to leave for work. Took it to the Merlins shyster around the block from my house. He thawed it out and put some gop on it. It worked about a dozen times yesterday morning, then the door wouldn’t close again. Took it to our mechanic yesterday and,you guessed it,he couldn’t get the latch to jam even once. I can sense it chuckling at me. Sometimes I hate my life.

SO HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND?
We’ve been pretty fortunate around here this winter, but that all ended Saturday/Sunday. Our area got somewhere between 12-15″. The door latch on my Ford POS was frozen,so I had to take DW’s car to work this AM. She has an SUV with a 4 cylinder motor that is as useful in snow as teats on a boar hog. Got stuck twice going to work, once after I started my route,so I gave up and went home and got stuck in our as-yet-unplowed driveway. Finally got my car fixed and got the job finished this afternoon. Hopefully we won’t get blasted like that again this season.
No, this is NOT me.

Newspeak
In George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four, Big Brother restricted people’s ability to think by eliminating words from the language.

I love the one that says, “Um, excuse me, experts. We no longer refer to foreign people in such derogatory terms.” BWAHAHAHA!! “Chinks in armor” BWAHAHAHA!! Yes, I can just imagine the terrible time the Army is having with all those itty bitty Asians infesting their spec ops armor. BWAHAHAHA!

THE FRIDAY NON-POLITICAL POST
It’s that time of the week that everyone who still works anticipates…..Friday! Get your paycheck, look at your bills and realize you worked the whole week for somebody else. Such is the price we pay for living in what at one time was the greatest country on earth.
OK,I started to wax political and I promised myself I wouldn’t. What I WILL do is post some of the laugh-out-loud funniest stuff I’ve been saving.
HEY,BoB:
you’ve no idea how difficult it was to pick these few

TALENT SHOW REVIEW AND REGULAR STUFF
Stupid machine is acting like a Malaysian Airlines jet…it keeps crashing. This probably won’t work, but I’ll give it a try.
Ever been to a grade school talent show? We went to our granddaughters’ show on Tuesday. It was actually better than I expected. It’s a pre-K through 8th grade Catholic school, so each class had a distinct uniform. The pre-k-kindergarten group sang along with a recording of the old Sunday School song, wise man/foolish man (built his house upon the sand). I’m sure they practiced doing all the gestures in unison, but one just stared off looking for his mom, and another girl who will be the class clown grinned and danced to the tune in her head. There were skits, a first-grader read jokes off her note cards, one kid did a hula hoop, one had several duck calls he demonstrated, and the biggest surprise was a boy from Miss Isabel’s fifth grade class who pulled a violin out and announced he was going to play Orange Blossom Special. I was ready to cringe, since there’s nothing as ear-splitting as someone on the violin when they don’t know how to play. Apparently he started years ago because he was really good.
Three 8thgraders were hosting the show and they gave away ‘Mary’ awards, named after the school, St. Mary’s, to teachers in appreciation. There were certificates for best musician, most helpful, athletic, most compassionate, etc. There was an award for best principal (the head honcho lady) and one for knowing the most about the Saints. The priest won that one. They even had an award for the best janitor (they only have one). One of the kids ran to get him and when he came into the auditorium the room erupted. They really love this little man.
I know this is boring, but there’s a point. The children were all quiet, patient and respectful. My stepdaughter, who I consider one of my own kids, teaches at a public school in another city but sends her kids to Catholic school, like many other teachers do. There’s a reason for that.
This video is a tragic example of what public school teachers are subjected to when faced with trying to teach violent, ignorant savages anything useful. The 62 year old teaher took away the 16 year old ninth grader’s phone and was pummeled. In my day, this would have been unthinkable. Sadly, if the man had tried to defend himself or fight back, the little darlins’ mama and her baby daddy would appear out of nowhere to sue the poor man and the school to get a chunk of money. Our educational system has been destroyed by the teachers’ unions and the democrats the unions and welfare leeches vote for perennially.
Apparently the video has been removed…use your imagination.
“It’s troubling that in our society today students think that inside a school they can put their hands on each other and teachers as well,” said Jonathan Hodges, a veteran school board member. “I went online trying to find this video and I found numerous videos of teachers being attacked by their students.”

YouTwitFace
I’m up. Finally. At least for now. My bed and I have been spending some Quantity Time together the past few days. Yesterday’s Big Excitement was to feel well enough to take a shower and change into a fresh nightie. Any prayers you got to spare would be most appreciated.
