While Politico and the rest of the Left Stream Mediawork on tarnishing Carson’s reputation as an honest and trustworthy person, they’ve been giving serial liar Hillary Clinton a total pass for decades.
They didn’t quibble when she said she once tried to join the Marines.Given her high profile antagonism toward the military, that one should have been a jaw dropper. According to her fanciful tale, the Marine recruiter she talked to told her to go away because, “You’re too old, you can’t see and you’re a woman.”
Since it furthered her “female as victim of white male oppression” status, the All Democrat Media let it slide. Ditto her latest whacky tale about having written to NASA when she was 13 saying she wanted to be an astronaut. Supposedly, NASA wrote back saying she couldn’t go into space, because she was a girl. Such a letter would have been illegal under federal law, but hey, glass ceilings and all that.
If these so-called journalists are so interested in the veracityof presidential candidates, maybe they could revisit that sniper fire story from 2008. The MSM cared about her lying back in 2008 because Barack Obama had been coronated by the Democrat machine. Now … Carson’s mistaking a dinner date matters. Totally made up bullets, not so much.

One guess what happens next?
Yep. Politico fabricates a story about how Ben Carson is a Big Fat Liar! The gist is that Carson wrote in his autobiography that, when he was in high school JROTC, he got to meet General Westmoreland, who offered him “a full scholarship” to West Point. Carson told him thanks, but no thanks. He wanted to go into medicine, so never even applied to West Point.
The sticking point? West Point is free. Ergo, no “scholarship” could have been offered.
The stupidity of the story? Carson may have never been aware of this fact.Westmoreland tried to recruit him for the academy, no doubt mentioned it would cost him nothing, and Carson (who never pursued it) interpreted that to mean “full scholarship.”
Well, gosh. Until I read this story, I didn’t know West Point was free either.
So Politico gets called out on THEIR Big Fat Lie and alters the headline and key paragraph. When a story is altered, it’s protocol to put a timed and dated line somewhere explaining what was changed. Politico … that stickler for all things “proper” (like not saying “scholarship”) … didn’t bother with protocol. Oh my goodness. That’s almost like fabricating, isn’t it?
Remember that poll I posted above?Politico put out a second story as a kind of companion to the Carson lie. And wouldn’t you know … it was about the Democrat candidate who was deemed least honest and trustworthy. What a coinkidink!
Politico’s headline started out as “SCOOP: Intelligence chief’s office concludes key Hillary Clinton emails claimed to be ‘TOP SECRET’ were not.”
Since that was a Big Fat Lie,Politico later changed it to “Source: Key Clinton emails did not contain highly classified secrets.”
Reading the story reveals the whole thing is even more flimsy and “shore up that Lying Liar Hillary” biased.
A. An anonymous source allegedly told Politico that the intelligence community has decided the State Dept was right about the classification level of two of Hillary’s emails.
B. When asked about it, State Department spokesman John Kirby said, “As far as I know we’ve received no final decision by the intelligence community with respect to these two emails. As far as we know, that process is ongoing.”
But wait! Stop the presses! Carson’s campaign has admitted that Carson met with Westmoreland in February 1969, not May 1969, as Carson stated in his 1990 autobiography!
Oh noes! How can we ever TRUST a man who misremembers exactly when he had dinner with a guy after more than twenty years?
On “Fox News Sunday,” Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina had strong words for female hosts of ABC’s “The View” who called her “demented.”
“There is nothing more threatening to the liberal media in general and Hillary Clinton in particular than a conservative woman. … I am tired of being insulted by liberal feminists who talk about women’s issues, when the reality is every issue is a woman’s issue — to ISIS, to Russia, to healthcare, to education, to the national debt. I like Tom Quiner’s piece on Hillary’s testimony, particularly since he spared me the agony of actually reading or, worse, listening to any of it. He addresses his critique to Her “It’s My Turn” Majesty:
I don’t like the fact that you lied about the root cause of the Benghazi attack.
I don’t like the way that you blamed it on an American-made YouTube video instead of on a Muslim-made planned terrorist attack, when you KNEW Muslims were the bad guys, not some doofus American.
I don’t like it when you said you lost sleep over the loss of American life in Benghazi. And yet you didn’t give Ambassador Stevens your e-mail when he was begging for increased security. You didn’t stick around while our embassy burned, but instead you went home for some shut eye.
I don’t like it that you didn’t talk to then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta or Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey during or immediately after the attack.
I don’t like that you said you didn’t use left-wing partisan attack dog, Sidney Blumenthal as an advisor, when you clearly did.
I don’t like it that you said you were transparent about your e-mails, when even the State Department admits you weren’t.
I don’t like it when you said Ambassador Stevens felt “comfortable on the ground” when his team asked for more security 600 times.
In other words, Hillary, I don’t enjoy your deceit.

Democrats don’t give a crap about what happened in Benghazi, before or after. Four dead Americans? The President, Secretary of State, and Ambassador to the United Nations all lying through their teeth afterwards to protect His _Residency’s re-election? Pshaw!
What they are up in arms over is the time and money the Benghazi committee has allegedly “wasted” on the investigation.
As of Oct 22, 2015, the Benghazi investigation had been going on for less than two years and had cost $4.8 million 2015 dollars.
Watching the eleven-hour debacle that was the Benghazi hearings yesterday, those of us who believe that those who commit felonies should be called to account, the frustration seems like having your estranged wife show up at your house with police officers and a court order signed by a judge, who happens to be her father, and you’re forced to watch as she and her new boyfriend take every stick of furniture, every pot and pan, and even the toothbrush holder from you, and smirk because they know there’s nothing you can do about it. That analogy came to me this morning. If it makes no sense, things are about normal.
In full disclosure, I only watched snippets of the show yesterday. I had the unfortunate circumstance of tuning in just as phony Mexican Loretta Sanchez (Illegal-Ca) was bemoaning the fact the investigations has cost the taxpayers (you know, those people who DON’T vote democrat) about 4 1/2 million dollars. It’s the only time, save defense spending, that liberals give two hoots and a holler about spending.
It was absolutely nauseating the way the lying bitch smirked and blithely lied all the way through, with the dems as her apologists and defenders. The friction between her and the republicans gave the media something to talk about so they could ignore the seriousness of the crimes she committed.
I have never claimed to have the organizational or creative skills of the others who post here. I’m just a pissed-off senior citizen taking the opportunity to vent. There is no rhyme or reason to the articles I’m posting here, and some of the you tubes (there are plenty) and some may contain some of the same footage. Try to imagine the rage/frustration felt by the victims’ families as they watched her smirk and joke her way through the hearing because their loved ones’ lives meant nothing.
In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Kate Quigley, the sister of CIA contractor Glen Doherty, recalled a meeting she and her family had with Clinton at Andrews Air Force Base three days after the terrorist attack in which the then-secretary of state said that the onslaught started as a spontaneous protest.
“She spoke to my family about how sad we should feel for the Libyan people because they’re uneducated, and that breeds fear which breeds violence and leads to a protest,” Quigley recalled.
But as was made clear in Thursday’s hearing, Clinton knew even before the attacks were finished that terrorists with links to al-Qaeda were involved.

A surprise witness showed up at the House Select Committee on Benghazi hearing during former Secretary of State Clinton’s deposition. The deceased Ambassador Chris Stevens showed up to testify indirectly through the words of Secretary Clinton. Prompted right on cue by the Democrat members of the committee, Clinton spoke long and eloquently about Chris Steven’s sacrifice as if they were dear friends. She spoke of his willingness to be at the Benghazi post and his most intimate feelings about the danger involved and his willingness to sacrifice for his country.
It was almost as if she had actually spoken to him once or twice. Of course, that was not really the case, beyond taking official State Department photographs together. In fact, she famously forgot his name immediately after his death, and she admitted today that he never even had access to her personal email address. But she put on a marvelous show of knowing his motivations and, apparently, his lack of posthumous regret. As they say, Ambassador Stevens was unavailable for comment. But she tried to fake it pretty well, anyway.
