DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Fill our hearts with peace and gratitude for the specific lives You chose for each of us. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

ALZHEIMER’S RESEARCH: [1:58] – Mouse studies offer real hope.

BIDEN: [7:57] – An update on the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Slow Joe’s fitness.

CRIME: From 1878 to 1967, Washington, D.C. was administered by a three-member Board of Commissioners with both legislative and executive authority, all appointed by the President. The board comprised one Democrat, one Republican, and one civil engineer with no specified party. The three Commissioners would then elect one of their number to serve as president of the board. While not quite analogous to the role of a mayor, the president of the board was the district’s Chief Executive. The last time a Republican held that position was from 1956 to 1961.

ELECTIONS: Some Democrats are expressing concern over the idea that ICE could or would patrol voting stations. But the “Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996” says in Section 215 that undocumented immigrants who attempt to vote should be deported.

FBI: Operation Summer Heat arrested 220 violent offenders last week, bringing the total to over 5,700 since the operation began in June.

NEWSCUM: [6:07] – Three of the bills he signed have been struck down on basic constitutional grounds.

PRAYERS: Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani (81) has suffered a fractured vertebrae and lacerations in a car crash. His spokesman said he is in “good spirits and recovering tremendously” and will “be released in a few days.” Also, “This was not a targeted attack. We ask everyone to respect Mayor Giuliani’s privacy and recovery, and refrain from spreading unfounded conspiracy theories.”

SCIENCE: The photo above appeared in my FB timeline with the following –

THE ONLY BIRD THAT DARES TO ATTACK AN EAGLE IS A CROW, BUT THE EAGLE NEVER FIGHTS BACK. HERE IS WHY:

  1. The crow is the only bird bold enough to sit on the eagle’s back and peck at its neck. Relentless. Annoying. But the eagle… stays calm.
  2. The eagle doesn’t flap. Doesn’t fight. Doesn’t waste energy. It does one thing: It rises.
  3. The higher the eagle soars. The thinner the air becomes. The crow? It can’t handle the altitude.
  4. Eventually, the crow gasps. Loses strength…And falls off. Not because the eagle attacked But because the eagle ascended.
  5. Let the crows talk. Let them peck. You don’t have to respond. Just keep going higher.
  6. They can’t follow you forever. Your growth will suffocate their noise. So don’t engage. Elevate.

I thought it sounded fishy. Why would such a large bird be able to handle thinner air than a smaller bird? So I asked Grok. It turns out there is no scientific or ornithological evidence that an eagle can foil a crow attack by rising to an altitude too high for the crow to breathe. The corvid in the photo is actually part of a group that is driving the eagle away from its young. The behavior is called “mobbing.” As an allegory, the behavior works better as an illustration of communities working together to protect children from predators.

TRANS: CLICK https://x.com/mazemoore/status/1961839292428247310 [:25] to hear a talking head on TYT Live give the network’s typical progressive take on the Minneapolis shooting. Hmm … let me think. A young white woman who claims to be a man shoots up the Christian school she attended, then a young white man who claims to be a woman shoots up the Catholic school he attended, but we should totally ignore the TRANS part … and, btw, the CHRISTIAN HATE CRIME part … and just focus on their skin color?!

REQUIEM: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=807567651625069 to pray for the souls of the two children who were murdered in Minneapolis. This prayer is called the Requiem (Latin for “rest”), because in Latin, that is the first word. “Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine. Et lux perpetua luceat eis. Fidelium animae, per misericordiam Dei, equiescant in pace. Amen.”

CATHOLIC: [5:00] – “We love Jesus.”

DOGE: This past week, federal agencies terminated 50 wasteful contracts, saving We the Taxpayers $762 million. Among these was a USAID contract for “the Belarus Regional Initiative to provide transition activities in Belarus and other countries in Europe”($48.7 million) and Department of Defense contracts for “transgender health medical evaluation unit services” ($2.4 million) and “LGBTQ magazine advertising campaign” ($128,500).

FLORIDA: Gov. DeSantis has taken a hard line on banning political statements on public roads. His position is that the only marks or signage allowed should be safety-related. LGBTQ activists keep chalking rainbows on the crosswalk by the Pulse (gay) Nightclub. CLICK https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=4289996104658532 [:27] to see what happens to it every time.

LEFTISM: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/reel/2560358737660115 to hear how the major funders of the radical trans movement in the west are Communist Chinese. This reminds me of the Vietnam peace movement, which was funded by both the Russian and Chinese Communist governments and makes me wonder how much else the Left pushes is being funded by atheist regimes.

STOLEN VALOR: Maryland Gov. Wes Moore is claiming he made an “honest mistake” in claiming to be a Bronze Star medal recipient. Seriously?! It’s a very big deal to get this award. (My daughter has one! Not to brag or nothin’!!) If he had actually received the award, there would have been a ceremony and a medal. IOW, it’s not something you could get wrong by accident.

WHITE HOUSE: Isn’t it interesting how easy it was for President Trump to learn exactly how the walkway in the Rose Garden got scratched when “nobodywas able to figure out how a baggie of cocaine got inside the “most secure house in the country”?

WORLD WAR II: [48:01] – This is a fascinating piece of history.

Minneapolis Shooting

Dear Lord, We ask Your gracious blessings on all those affected by this act of pure evil. Grant them the graces they need to heal in mind, body, and spirit. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

Two children are dead after a Trump-hating trannie opened fire during morning Mass at Annunciation Catholic School. The shooter was also found dead at the scene. The 17 injured, who were mostly children, are all expected to survive. CLICK https://x.com/FoxNews/status/1960781221354475522 [:10] to hear a 10-year-old describe what he experienced.

Democrats sneered at Vance’s tweet. But if they’d done nothing, they’d have squee’d they didn’t care. It’s all getting so old.

Jen Psaki posted the atrocious thoughts above. J.D. Vance responded, “We pray because our hearts are broken. We pray because we know God listens. We pray because we know that God works in mysterious ways, and can inspire us to further action. Why do you feel the need to attack other people for praying when kids were just killed praying?”

The New York Slime reported that nobody has any idea what the shooter’s motive might have been.

CLICK https://x.com/GuntherEagleman/status/1960874477371208169 [2:23] to hear her Psaki weep about the shootings, then sneer at those who offer prayer, then worry over the safety of trans people all over the world.

CLICK https://x.com/TPostMillennial/status/1960734495184650705 [1:08] to hear Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey also mock prayer, then assure us all that “Minneapolis will continue to be a safe haven for the trans community.”

All of Minnesota too. Have any of the morons blaming Republicans for this even noticed that Minnesota is a blue state whose coocoo pants governor was recently the Democrat’s pick for Vice President? But yeah … let’s all ignore the fact that this was an anti-Catholic hate crime committed by an ardent member of the Leftist tribe.

CLICK https://x.com/GuntherEagleman/status/1960877631185760567 [2:33] to hear Psaki ask Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey how liberals can prevent the facts about the shooter getting out so they can blame the guns. It’s sickening to listen to this garbage from people like her who grab every opportunity to politicize and weaponize before the facts are in.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Bless our children with all the graces they need to become truly holy. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

1A: CLICK https://x.com/FoxNews/status/1960495188352045143 [:23] to see a man who claims to be a veteran “challenge” Trump’s recent executive order by burning a flag near the White House. He shouted into his bullhorn, “Burning this flag as a protest to that illegal fascist president that sits in that house. … There’s a First Amendment right to burn the American flag. No president can make a law, period.”

He was arrested, not for peaceful protest by flag burning, but because he set a fire in a public park outside a designated area. As for making a law, Trump did no such thing. He merely encouraged prosecutors to apply to flag burning the SCOTUS ruling that speech intended to incite violence is not protected under the First Amendment.

BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP: The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals recent rulin in Moncada v. Blinken could strengthen Trump’s efforts to stop illegals from dropping their so-called “anchor babies” on U.S. soil.

The case involved the son of a Nicaraguan diplomat who had assumed he was a citizen, because he was born here. When he applied for a passport, they told him he wasn’t eligible, because his father had had full diplomatic immunity. The court ruled that he is not a U.S. citizen, because IOW, he and his family had not been “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States at the time of his birth.

Being “subject to the jurisdiction” means being under the complete legal authority of the U.S. government, including its laws, courts, and regulations. In United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898), the Supreme Court ruled that the U.S.-born child of parents who were legal residents, though not citizens, was himself a citizen.

The question remains if those who are here illegally qualify as “subject to the jurisdiction” or not. IRS, anyone?

CABINET CLIPS: [5:05] – I asked Grok to explain Rubio’s joke about having four jobs. “The remark highlights Rubio’s unprecedented accumulation of high-level roles in the Trump administration, stemming from a series of appointments and interim assignments since his confirmation as Secretary of State in January 2025.The four jobs Rubio referenced are:

  1. Secretary of State: Rubio’s primary Cabinet position, confirmed unanimously by the Senate (99-0) on January 20, 2025. He leads the U.S. Department of State, overseeing foreign policy, diplomacy, and international relations.
  2. Interim (Acting) National Security Adviser: Appointed in May 2025 after President Trump removed Mike Waltz from the role amid a scandal involving unsecured communications (known as “Signalgate”). This position involves advising the president on national security matters and coordinating the National Security Council.
  3. Acting Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID): Assumed in February 2025 as part of efforts to restructure and reduce the agency’s operations, including a freeze on foreign aid and significant staff cuts. USAID handles U.S. foreign aid and development assistance programs.
  4. Acting Archivist of the United States (National Archives and Records Administration – NARA): Also taken on in February 2025 following the dismissal of the previous archivist, Colleen Shogan, in what was described as an act of retribution related to past investigations into Trump’s handling of classified documents. This role oversees the preservation and management of federal records.

CRACKER BARREL: If you’ve been following the brouhaha about the logo, here’s the latest. The new logo is kaputski. After the corporation lost over $143 million in market value, the bigwigs decided the old guy and his barrel should return.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Grant us the graces we need to not make messes for You to clean up. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

AI: Yesterday, Grok told me Orlando’s rainbow crosswalk had not been repainted in years.

BORDER: Remember Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the MS-13 gang banger who has been the poster boy for Democrats’ opposition to Trump’s deportation efforts?

The Laughing Stock Media continue to report that he was “mistakenly” deported to El Salvador, which is his home country. As a known gang member, El Salvador locked him up and the Dems sent emissaries to El Savador so they could take photos of themselves for fund raising.

El Salvador sent him back to face federal human smuggling charges and, on Friday, he was released to home detention while he awaits trial.

But wait …the United States had made a deal with Uganda to take deportees who, like Abrego Gardia, don’t want to return to their home countries or whose home countries refuse to take them. Uganda prefers they not be violent criminals. Since Dems insist Abrego Garcia isn’t a human trafficking, woman beating scumbag who works for MS-13, he could go to Uganda. Right?

CANADA: Starting next month, Canada will drop its silly retaliatory tariffs and do what Trump said, which is fairly match our tariffs.

CATHOLIC: In 662, Maximus was convicted of heresy for teaching that Jesus possessed both a human and a divine will, a position rejected by then-Emperor Constans. He had his tongue cut out and his right hand cut off, so that he could no longer speak or write about his opposition to the imperial theology. He died soon after. Eighteen years later, the Sixth Ecumenical Council declared that Christ possessed both a human and a divine will and Maximus was posthumously declared innocent.

DRAINING THE SWAMP: [6:41] – Sending kids to war to make money is so evil. ::smh::

EDUCATION: Loudon County is at it again. The uber woke North Virginia school district investigated three high school boys for complaining about a girl using their locker room, then let the Muslim boy off the hook, while punishing the other two, who are Christians. Jason Miyares, Virginia’s Republican attorney general, has announced an investigation into the school district over the incident. The Founding Freedoms Law Center is representing the two boys.

HOUSING: I’ve been watching a YouTube of proud tiny home owners bragging their weensy little $200K house was such a bargain. I mean … seriously?!

We paid $42,000 for our little ranchburger back in 1984. Granted, it was a nothing special starter home, but it was sturdy, everything worked properly, and it was/is in a great neighborhood. It had 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a partially finished full basement. IOW, much larger than anything that qualifies as a tiny house. At 210.8% inflation, a house like ours should cost about $130,000. But according to the map above, the average home in New York currently costs $482,700, which suggests even a starter home is going for waaaay more than $130K.

I plugged the NYS average income ($86K) into the mortgage calculator linked below. It says someone with that income should be able to comfortably afford a house costing up to $287,739. Wow. No wonder so many young people and retirees are opting for tiny homes!

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Awaken our minds and hearts to the reality of all sin and bring us to a place of true humility and repentance. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

CATHOLIC: [17:18] – This is a very interesting story.

D.C.: CLICK https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/1958648554525786596 [:41] to hear Trump address the troops in the capital. He then dined with them on the burgers he’d brought that had been cooked by White House chefs and pizzas from a local restaurant.

EPSTEIN: Jeffrey Epstein’s imprisoned associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, had a heart-to-heart with the Department of Justice, during which she said she never saw President Donald Trump act inappropriately.

“I think they were friendly, like people are in social settings. I don’t — I don’t think they were close friends, or I certainly never witnessed the President in any of — I don’t recall ever seeing him in his house, for instance.

“I actually never saw the President in any type of massage setting. I never witnessed the president in any inappropriate setting in any way. The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.”

When pressed if Maxwell had ever heard rumors or witnessed Trump do anything inappropriate with “masseuses or with anybody in your world,” she responded, “Absolutely never, in any context.”

FLORIDA: DeSantis’ administration has declared that roadway markings are for safety purposes only, not political statements. Hence, Orlando’s Pulse Memorial Crosswalk was painted over to remove the rainbow pride colors that were installed in 2019 near the Pulse nightclub site to commemorate the 2016 shooting. On August 21, 2025, hundreds gathered at the site for rallies, with chants of “Bring back the rainbow!” and signs protesting state overreach. Some people colored in the rainbow stripes with chalk.

HYPOCRITES: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2RY8SFEyNrI to hear Nick Freitas reveal yet another instance in a very loooooooooooong line.

NEWSCUM: [1:19] – CLICK https://x.com/Shawn_Farash/status/1959023264887709926 [:26] to see a fabulous, multi-message billboard.

THE MEDIUM IS NOT THE MESSAGE: In 1964, Canadian communication theorist Marshall McLuhan published a book called The Medium is the Message in which he posited that the communication medium was more important than the message it carried. Democrats still believe this ridiculous theory.

A center-left think tank known as Third Way has sent out a list of 45 words and phrases they want Democrats to stop using. The piece (top link below) is worth reading, if only so you can appreciate how totally clueless the opposition is. For example, every item on the blacklist was invented by lefty Democrats to try and communicate their values. Now they’re saying they need to stop using them, so they can better communicate their values.

This all reminds me of something my Communication Arts professor at Cornell said once. He was talking about marriage counselors telling couples in trouble that they aren’t communicating. “They’re communicating just fine. It’s what they’re communicating that is the problem.”

TDS: CLICK https://x.com/Breaking911/status/1958682516484682119 [:41] to hear failed politician Stacey Abrams say, “If it is true that [Trump] is a grand ayatollah, that mystical power extends and can be – he can anoint his prophets and he can remain in power even if he doesn’t hold the title of president.”

Uhhhhhhhh … project much, Stacey? It was the Dems who declared Barack Hussein an “enlighted being” and constantly presented him with a haloed head and in Jesus-like poses. It was Obama himself who said he wanted a third term where he had a pliant puppet in the Oval Office doing his will for him. It was Democrats who cheated cancer-drug-befuddled Joe Biden into said office where “he” could maximize Obama’s America-killing agenda for four more years.

GRAMMY NOTES: Ha ha ha … but wait … how did a dog that smart get lost in the first place, she asks, unable to stop herself from over-thinking dumb jokes.

Bits & Bytes

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Confuse every enemy attack and send it back to sender. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

BIDEN: [5:27] – Did you ever notice how often KJP et al. spoke of “the president” or “this president” with such sincerity? It makes me wonder if they were really talking to Obama and genuinely believed he was THE president.

BOLTON: [8:01] – On August 22, 2025, at about 7 a.m., FBI agents raided John Bolton’s home in Bethesda, Maryland. The word on the street is they had a warrant to search for classified documents. The Epoch Times said, “The FBI did not provide a substantive reply in response to an inquiry”, but noted FBI Director Kash Patel had posted on X, “NO ONE is above the law … @FBI agents on mission” and that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, had shared this, writing, “Public corruption will not be tolerated.” Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote on X, “America’s safety isn’t negotiable. Justice will be pursued. Always.

CALIFORNICATION: In the 2024 presidential election, nearly 40% of California voters chose Trump; fewer than 20% of California’s seats in the U.S. House of Representatives are filled by Republicans. But never mind all that! Democrats rule California and they want more! On August 21, Gov. Newsom on Aug. 21 signed a legislative package to put a measure on the Nov. 4 ballot that would redraw the state’s congressional map to redraw the boundaries for five of those nine seats, to give each of them a greater share of Democrat voters.

FLORIDA: CLICK https://x.com/nicksortor/status/1958583144636195231 [1:24] to see Harjinder Singh, the illegal trucker who killed 3 people on August 13, get extradited from California. Florida did not issue an arrest warrant until August 15. Singh flew from Florida to California on the 14th and was apprehended by U.S. Marshals on August 16 without incident. He agreed to be transferred back to Florida to face charges. CLICK https://x.com/SplitMethod/status/1958628510169538841 [:22] to see video filmed by someone who drove by the accident Singh caused.

MAHA: [13:49] – Bobby Kennedy is not planning to run for president. He wants to put his efforts into fixing the vaccine court.

MEDIA: [3:23] – The White House Bureau Chief for the Washington Post reveals their agenda is not informing voters. Donald Trump owned the Miss Universe Organization (which includes Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen) from 1996 to 2015.

PARTY DEMOGRAPHICS: Between the 2020 and 2024 elections, in the 30 states (and D.C.) that allow voter registrations by party, Democrats lost about 2.1 million registered voters while Republicans gained about 2.4 million.

CLICK https://x.com/WesternLensman/status/1958191652243198082 [1:18] to hear what Joe Scarborough’s guest, Molly Jong-Fast, says is the reason. As Napoleon Bonaparte said, “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

PEACE TALKS: I remember when Democrats cheered because Obama said he would talk to ANY world leader without preconditions. But Trump talks to Putin and they yell, “Russia is our enemy!! How DARE he talk to Putin?!

RUSSIA vs UKRAINE: Not long after Putin met with Trump in Alaska, the Russian army launched one of its largest overnight strikes since the war began. More than six hundred drones, ballistic and cruise missiles landed on Ukraine, killing one, injuring dozens and destroying an American-owned electronics company less than an hour from two NATO borders.

SCOTUS: The Supremes voted 5–4 on Aug. 21 to allow the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to cancel hundreds of millions of dollars in research grants linked to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. The Trump administration argued that National Institutes of Health grants conflict with the president’s policy goals.

TRANS: OMG interview with Vanessa Savidge [1:34:20] – Vanessa Sivadge thought she’d found her dream job as a pediatric nurse at the nation’s top children’s hospital. Instead, she says she watched doctors steer healthy kids into gender transitions, prescribing powerful drugs, billing taxpayers, and hiding it from the public.

Out of her concern for the kids, she spoke anonymously in 2023 with journalist Christopher Rufo about the hospital having publicly claimed to have shut down the transgender medicine program, yet said it was continuing. Approximately two months after that interview, two FBI agents, Paul Nixon and David McBride, came to her home, identifying her as a “person of interest” in an investigation related to a whistleblower who had exposed the program, alleging a violation of federal privacy laws (HIPAA).

She claimed the agents intimidated her, stating they would “make life difficult” for her if she was protecting the leaker and suggested she was “not safe” at work, implying someone at her workplace had given her name to the FBI. Doorbell camera footage shared by Rufo captured the agents at her door, asking to speak with her about “some of the things that have been going on at [her] work lately.

I am gobsmacked that those two FBI agents showed up on official business wearing jeans and casual shirts.

GRAMMY NOTES: Aidan Perry, a young Florida man, survived being shot in the chest because a cross pendant his dad gave him last Christmas deflected the bullet. [4:35] – When my brother was in Vietnam, he was shot in the torso by a sniper. The bullet did massive damage, his recovery was long, and he has had some lifelong health issues as a result. But what the bullet did not do was kill him. The surgeon who removed the bullet said that, based on its trajectory, it should have gone straight through his heart. The surgeon said it had not hit anything that could have deflected it. It just altered course inside my brother’s chest and went around his heart!
