BIBLE: Cindy Cole, a 62-year-old grandmother from Nashville, Georgia, was asleep in her bedroom when Hurricane Helen passed through. A voice woke her and told her, “Get up! Go to another room in your house.” Five minutes after she complied, a large tree crashed through the walls and landed on her bed. KAMALA: Kamala (50% Indian, 25% Caucasian, and 25% black) Harris was supposed to bring in the black vote. I can see why they’d think this, given that black Obama and female Hillary did well with this demographic. I guess they didn’t factor in how awful Kamala truly is. Oops!

LIBERAL TEARS: Elon Musk have given about $75 million to America PAC, which is focused on turning out voters in closely contested states that could decide the election. The shrieking (from people who don’t mind at all when billionaires like George Soros and Jeff Bezos donate millions to Democrats) shall commence in 3 … 2 … 1.

LIFE: Warning … This is NOT an easy video. It’s worth your time or I wouldn’t put it here. But it’s graphic. At least one segment actually made me dizzy. [51:01] – The last time I posted a video like this, it was two former abortionists and two women who had survived being aborted. This time, there are three former abortionists and three women who regret their abortions. Two of the doctors are the same; the third reminds me so much of Dr. Ben Carson. He gives a beautiful faith testimony near the end.

Part of the talk reminded me of when I was pregnant with #2. I had a pro-life nursing student shadow me at the end and through the delivery. She told me how absurd the nursing school OB/GYN classes had been. “One week, we’re talking about the miracle of fetal development then the next, we’re talking about the products of conception.” During the class on fetal development, one of the male students suddenly jumped up and ran out of the room. They found him on his hands and knees in the hall, vomiting and crying, “They told us it wasn’t a baby!“

CATHOLIC: [6:01] – Kamala Harris has repeatedly questioned judicial nominees about their Catholic beliefs and membership in the Knights of Columbus, which is a violation of the Constitution. Her campaign claims she is deeply respectful of Catholics of faith … which I’m totes sure is why she refused Archbishop Dolan’s invitation to attend the Al Smith dinner on October 17.

The Al Smith Dinner, first held in 1946, was named in honor of the first Catholic to run for president and raises millions of dollars for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, which has been serving the needs of Catholics and Catholics alike since 1917. EMHOFF: Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, has been accused of slapping a former girlfriend so hard that she spun around. When asked about it, he never said the event did not occur. Instead, he said the report of it was “designed to try to get us off our game. We understand the stakes. We understand the responsibility. We understand what is necessary. Our very country. Our future.”

You know how everything the Left accuses you of is what they themselves are guilty of? Yeah, well, it is also true of “toxic masculinity.” People who worked with Doug Emhoff at his former law firm spoke to the Daily Mail upon agreement they would not be named, fearing retaliation. They say that Emhoff, who ran the Venable Los Angeles office from 2006 to 2017, recount toxic behaviors including holding a men-only cocktail hour in the office, revoking work perks from women who didn’t flirt with him, and taking only young, attractive associates in a limousine to a ball.

One senior former staffer recounted an incident when a female partner needed to ask him something. “His office door was closed. She said to his secretary, ‘is he on the phone?’ She said no. She tapped on the door, he didn’t answer, so she slightly opened the door and stuck her head in. He said ‘get the f*** out of my office.’” Later, he bragged to the management at Venable that he had “put her in her place.”

A 2019 lawsuit also claimed sex discrimination by his other partners alleged that, while Emhoff was engaged to Harris, he hired an ‘unqualified‘ part-time model as a legal secretary ‘because she was young, attractive and friendly with the powerful men in the office.’

FAUXTUS: Barack gave us “Hope and Change.” Kamala is trying to up it to “Joy and Change.” – After having insisted for 3.5 years that she has been involved in every major decision, has been the last person in the room at important WH policy discussions, and has agreed with everything Joe has done, Kamala has been trying to run for office on the fake idea that she is the “change” candidate.

Joe’s been trolling her hard lately. The most recent was when he was asked if Gov. DeSantis should take Harris’ calls, he said, “All I can tell you is I’ve talked to Gov. DeSantis. He’s been very gracious. He’s thanked me for all we’ve done. He knows what we are doing, and I think that’s important.”

I’m thinking Joe and Jill want Kamala to lose, so Joe can go down in history as the only candidate to ever beat Orange Man Bad.

Bits & Bytes – The Sunday Anniversary Edition

CATHOLIC: [19:26] – “Baptism unlocks your guardian angel’s hands.” Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh … a priest asked me once to come along on a home visit to watch the 3 little ones outdoors while the parents recounted their experiences of demonic attacks. They believed a witch aunt had cursed them for beginning catechism lessons. The priest called me inside saying, “This family needs emergency baptism. I need you to be a godparent.” I just understood that day in a whole new way! ❤

GIVING: ​I never once thought of this when my kids were young, but I so wish I had. What a wonderful Advent activity to go through not just toys, but also books and clothing so that parents who are poor like Mary and Joseph were can afford to buy their kids gifts for Jesus’ birthday.

HONORABLE ORDER OF ST. GABRIEL: Saint Gabriel is the patron saint of Army Public Affairs. The Military Order of Saint Gabriel recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the U.S. Army Public Affairs community and practice. Earlier this year, our very own Army Princess was inducted. We are very proud of her!

GRAMMY NOTES: My grands got to go to Australia this summer. Mom and Dad were both between jobs (in good ways!), they had the money, and decided it was time for their Once In A Lifetime Adventure. The oldest is young enough and the youngest is old enough to appreciate it.

Now Mom is at her new job (in Europe!) and Dad is home schooling with the curriculum they’ll be entering when they join her. I’ve been asked to Zoom teach art (speaking of Lifetime Adventures!!! LOVING IT !!!) and have been able to mine their vacay photos for examples of the art concept I’m teaching. <3<3<3

I am so hoping they’ll want to continue their Grammy art lessons after they move! I mean … it’s ZOOM. We could do it! It’s so amazing being able to interact with them regularly with something to talk about! Zoom chats before were “How is school?” “Fine.”

On Tuesday, we got talking about the importance of communication technology and comparing the societal revolution sparked by Gutenberg’s printing press with what Nonno and I have seen in our lifetimes with computers and now cell phones and internet. We explored pieces of family history, like how my grandfather was a printer who set type pretty much like Gutenberg did and Nonno’s childhood phone was on a party line! <3<3<3

Biden’s DOJ is contending this does not include removing people “because of a perceived failure to meet initial eligibility requirements — including citizenship — at the time of registration.” Wait, wut?

WALZ: Tim Walz’ wife is spending her time on the campaign trail reading gay books to kids.

HELENE: I pray they were all saved and went to Heaven together! – A GoFundMe was started for the surviving members of the Craig family to help pay for funeral costs, medical expenses, clean up, and construction. As of Friday morning, the total was $136,059.

OCTOBER 7: Trump visited the grave site of Rebbes Ohel to honor the anniversary of Hamas’ invasion of Israel. [5:25] – In the video, the rabbi explains the Jewish tradition of visiting the burial places of righteous individuals to deepen one’s connection to God. I was fascinated to learn this, given that it shows a direct connection from our Jewish roots to some of the Catholic practices that Protestants say are unbiblical.

WALZ: At a recent fundraiser with fellow Chinese Communist enthusiast Gavin Newsom, Walz said, “I think all of us know the Electoral College needs to go. We need a national popular vote that is something. But that’s not the world we live in.”

The Founders warned about pure democracy based on popular vote, which would allow a simple majority to strip away the rights of the minority. They designed both houses of Congress with this in mind as well.

WYOMING: In 2023, RINO Gov. Mark Gordon appointed Dr. Eric Cubin to the state medical board, then just weeks later, fired him. Gordon confirmed his reason in a letter to Cubin in which he cited a letter Cubin had written to the members of the House of Representatives strongly supporting “Chloe’s Bill.” Cubin is suing. The bill, which criminalizes the lucrative, left-wing malpractice of mutilating minors in the name of “gender affirming care“, passed and political pressures forced Gordon to sign it.

COLOR VISION: I came across this test. It says at the bottom, “There are 1 in 255 women and 1 in 12 men who are suffering from color vision deficiency.” I did not know this! A score of 1 to 16 is “superior.” I got a 2. This goes a long way toward explaining my passion for color!

DRUG TRIALS: A new report published in the Journal of Political Economy on Oct. 7 says drug studies sponsored by drug manufacturers not only report higher drug efficacy than studies not sponsored by the drug company (no surprise there), but that the effect can be as much as 50%. Now that surprises me.

FEELINGS: I saw this on FB, with the following excellent comment – “I mean… many times, yes, especially if you have a well-formed faith and a developed sense of discernment. BUT, as Fr. Chad Ripperger often says, ‘the Holy Spirit isn’t the only one transmitting on that channel.’ Demons can have access to influence our emotions, and so using them as a definitive sense check can be a VERY dangerous standard. “Don’t completely ignore your emotions, but don’t be so prideful to think they can’t be influenced into leading you astray.”

KAMALA: This is worth watching. [5:06] – Harris also appeared on The View and said that, despite the fact she’s been campaigning on undoing everything Biden screwed up “on Day 1” of her (please God never) presidency, she would not “have done anything differently than President Biden during the past four years.” Moreover, “I’ve been a part of most of the decisions that have had an impact.” ::smh:: Anybody who votes for her is either complicit or stupid.

MAGA: I voted! I was holding off on returning my absentee ballot until I heard J.D. Vance say we should do them early to prevent cheaters from using our names. Dearest is delivering it by hand today. He needs to do his too; he’s a poll worker and won’t have time to vote on election day.

MELANIA: [10:56] – I really enjoyed this interview. She looked so comfortable and relaxed, laughing and just glowing with good health and love. Marrying her may have been the best thing Donald ever did!

WALK AWAY: [4:03] – Cancer patient lost his insurance, then was fined for not having insurance. Under Trump, his life improved. He’s now a former Democrat.

GRAMMY NOTES: My pinky toe is so talented that it can also find furniture in the day time. In other news, it is purple and so swollen that I can barely see the nail. Ouch.
