Got errors?

  • Wrongly dumped into the Medicaid welfare program?
  • Income listed incorrectly so you lose a subsidy?
  • Premium costing you more than promised?
  • Wrongly denied coverage?

ObamaCare has an answer for you!

Just print out and fill in the seven-page form and snail it to Kentucky where it will be promptly scanned and transferred to the ObamaCare computer system!

But … oops. For now, that is where the process stops. The part of the computer system that would allow agency workers to READ and FIX the problems has not been BUILT.

So after you fill out and snail the form and wait and wait and wait, you can try calling the HELP line and IF you can get a live person, you will be “invited” to return to HealthCare.gov, reset their account to nothing and START ALL OVER.

Of course, if the system screws up your new application, your first appeal will be no good any more, because you reset your account and started over.

Obamacare is like dating a cardboard standee

Obamacare’s Evil Intention

The Left promotes a godless culture of death. They’ve proven it everywhere they’ve ruled around the world. And they’re proving it here with Obamacare.

The latest assault is a 14% cut Obamacare is forcing on Medicare’s home health care program.

  • About 3.5 million poor and ill homebound senior citizens depend on home health aides to assist them with medical care and rehabilitation therapy.
  • About 5,000 home health companies – mainly small businesses – provide thousands of health care workers with jobs providing for needs of these senior citizens.

Both will suffer because of “caring” Obama Democrats.

You can keep your what?

NO to govt health care

Insurance companies are booting doctors off the Medicare Advantage program, because federal funding for the program is being cut back by billions of dollars.

One health carrier alone, UnitedHealthcare, is terminating contracts with up to 2,100 doctors in the New York metro region. About 8,000 elderly Medicare Advantage New Yorkers were using those doctors.

Brooklyn physician, Dr. Jonathan Leibowitz, was notified in late October that as of January 1 he will no longer be eligible to receive payments from Medicare Advantage program. He has 30 patients on the program. “A patient can’t see his doctor? What are they doing!” he asked.

Alfred Gargiulio, who has cerebral palsy with a seizure disorder, has been seeing Leibowitz since 1993. “Obama had said I could keep my doctor. Now they’re doing away with my doctor. They kicked him out! After 20 years, that’s not right. We love Dr. Leibowitz,” said Gargiulio.

BOYCOTT OBAMACARE!

According to documents released by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, only six people signed up for health insurance at healthcare.gov on the first day.

SIX people signed up? You can’t field a baseball team with six people! [:44]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuhQVYmEglg

They got about 90 more on day two and about 150 more on day three. They need 38,461 PAYING customers per day, 7 days a week, from Oct 1 through the end of March.

At the end of the first month, even worse news emerges … the vast majority of new sign-ups are for MEDICAID. News flash: Insurance only works if most of the people pay money IN and only a small number take money OUT. Medicaid enrollees pay nothing in.

The BEST news on that video … if they don’t get enough people, “it’s not gonna happen.” That sounds to me like we don’t need Congress to defund it or SCOTUS to strike it down. We just need to BOYCOTT IT.

Goa-Obama

Goa-Obama

ObamaCare never has and never will be about helping the poor. If they’d ever given a toot about actual people, they’d have reformed health care in the practical ways the GOP proposed, ways that WORK.

  1. Allow citizens to buy insurance plans anywhere, not just within their own states.
  2. Switch tax subsidies from employers to individuals so everyone gets insurance as individuals, regardless of where they work.
  • These two changes alone would’ve opened up a huge market of health insurance plans of all shapes, sizes and premium levels.
  • These two changes would’ve freed people trapped in jobs they hate because they don’t dare lose their employer-based insurance plan.
  • These two changes would’ve created low-cost catastrophic coverage options that uninsured people in low-paying service industry jobs where insurance isn’t included could afford.

Instead, they shoved ZeroCare down our throats, something that has a proven track record in many countries, including here (Medicare, Medicaid) of providing least care for most money. Why? Because it provides the most POWER and CONTROL and that’s what it was and is about.

The PTBs in DC rake in the bucks, then use them to pay off cronies and punish enemies. Case in point: Abortion.

ObamaCare mandates everybody pay directly into a fund that does nothing except buy abortions. IOW, they extort money from Pro-Lifers (mostly Republicans) and give it to abortionists who turn around and donate it to Pro-Abortion Democrat campaign coffers to ensure their right to kill goes unimpeded.

Do you think if Dems cared about actual people, Harry Reid could have EVER said what he did about kids with cancer? They don’t care who gets hurt during this government shut down, just so long as they hang on to their POWER.

Obama’s Promise vs. ObamaCare’s Reality

I do not like Obamacare

Rep Tom Reid says, If the President and Harry Reid continue to refuse to negotiate, I support presenting a simple request to them: repeal the special treatment under Obamacare that Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and the President secured for Members of Congress and their DC insider friends, and I will vote to keep the government open.” https://www.facebook.com/RepTomReed

ObamaCare: Smoke And Mirrors by Elaina F. George, MD

http://www.nationalcenter.org/P21NVGeorgeObamaCare90913.html

EXCERPT: Since the United Nations created the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1948, there has been an inexorable movement toward a centralized power that shifts decisions from individuals to government through regulation and mandates. It has readily caught on abroad and anchors socialized medicine. America was virtually the only western holdout. That changed in 1965, when the expansion of Social Security created Medicare, which, essentially, is socialized medicine for seniors.

ObamaCare is following in Medicare’s footsteps:

  • Just like ObamaCare, Medicare was sold as a government program to take care of Americans. Government became the benefactor, caregiver and savior — absolving Americans from personal responsibility. All they had to do was give their faith and money to the government.
  • Just like ObamaCare, Medicare was drafted by bureaucrats and politicians seemingly more interested in concentrating power and controlling the purse strings.
  • Just like ObamaCare, no doctors or patients were involved in the crafting of Medicare. There were no true advocates for the patient.

Over the years, Medicare devolved into a bloated, wasteful and soon-to-be bankrupt system. It has been a piggy bank for Congress (in fact, $700 billion from the Medicare trust fund was raided to help fund ObamaCare).

Costs have increased through higher deductibles while there has been a steady decline in access and treatment options. For those who argue that health care will improve under ObamaCare, note that Medicare reimbursements to hospices will increase one percent while hospital reimbursements fall. This makes it hard to argue that a new system will not emphasize rationing and palliative care to decrease costs.

It’s going to get worse

Seizing Elian

Under Obamacare, the federal government will have total control over the standards by which parents are allowed to raise their children.

These standards will be enforced via mandatory home visits conducted by entities appointed and funded by the federal government.

Their job will be to identify families that “need” to be visited and to intervene in the home life so as to meet federally mandated benchmarks.

Visitation mandates may include children being required to go to certain schools, take certain medications, receive certain vaccines, or even have limited – or no – interaction with parents.

  • A homeschooling family, for instance, may be subject to ‘intervention’ in ‘school readiness’ and ‘social-emotional developmental indicators.’
  • A farm family may be subject to ‘intervention’ in order to ‘prevent child injuries’.

Home visit “intervention” will be at the discretion of the agency, which could target families for any reason.

The Health and Human Services’ website states that families in the following “high-risk” categories will be definitely targeted:

  • Mom is not yet 21.
  • A child has low student achievement, developmental delays, or disabilities.
  • Someone uses tobacco.
  • Someone is serving or formerly served in the armed forces.

This will not be a voluntary program.

Failure to allow home visits or to comply with dictates could result in removal of children from the home.

The Obama administration claims the provision applies only to Medicaid families. The statute, by its own definition, has NO LIMITATION whatsoever.

Intervention may be with any family for any reason and parents will have no right to do anything but comply.

Got good health care?

Got good health care

ObamaCare … The AARP helped shove it down our throats, now seniors are getting it up the back end.

  • Care will be rationed according to age. Those on Social Security will be required to attend an “end-of-life planning” seminar every five years. The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.
  • Under ObamaCare/Medicare, you can only be admitted to a hospital by your primary physician. If you are admitted by an emergency room doctor, hospital costs will not be covered.
  • The IRS will have the power to determine if your insurance policy meets government regulations or if you should be fined and thrown into the Medicaid-Medicare pool.
  • The government will have real-time access to an individual’s bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.
  • The government will set all doctors’ fees and hospitals are forbidden to expand.
  • Non-citizens, including illegals, will receive the same quality of care as citizens and taxpayers.
  • ObamaCare will not apply to members of Congress.

Socialist Death Spiral

As Maggie Thatcher famously opined,

“The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.”

These 11 States now have more people on welfare than they do employed.

Death Spiral - 11 states with majority on welfare

Last month, the Senate Budget Committee reports that in fiscal year 2011, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and other benefits, the average U.S. household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government support. What’s the problem with that much support? Well, the median household income in America is just over $50,000, which averages out to $137.13 a day. To put it another way, being on welfare now pays the equivalent of $30.00 an hour for a 40-hour week, while the average job pays $25.00 an hour.
