BORDER: Eight Tajikistan nationals with ties to ISIS were busted recently during a three city, multi-force sting operation. The arrests took place in New York City, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. All eight are here illegally.

CALIFORNICATION: On May 25, a former soap opera actor named Johnny Wactor was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles. He interrupted thieves attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car. In response, a Democrat Los Angeles City Council member — there are no Republicans — blamed the automaker for failing to make the catalytic converters harder to steal.

CLIMATE: A new study entitled “Abrupt reduction in shipping emission as an inadvertent geoengineering termination shock produces substantial radiative warming” was published on May 30 in Nature.

In it, a team of high-powered NASA scientists report that 80% of the global warming that has occurred since the turn of the decade has been the result of the abrupt 80% cut in sulphur dioxide emissions from international shipping mandated in 2020.

The science is simple. “Fewer fuel particles injected into the atmosphere reduce cloud droplet density and this leads to clouds that reflect less solar radiation back into space.”

DIVISION: The Southern Poverty Law Center puts any group that opposes medical gender transitioning of minors on their hate map. Their latest addition was a group that was founded by a lesbian.

  1. Using up $12.2 billion of California’s rainy day fund.
  2. Cutting $100 million to clean up homeless camps.
  3. Cutting $90 million of trial court funding.
  4. Cutting $10 million in Department of Justice Division of Law Enforcement funding.
  5. Cutting out $80 million of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s funding, including eliminating 4,600 beds across 13 prisons.
  6. Keeping $6.7 billion for climate-related programs.
  7. Keeping $1 billion in Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention grants.
  8. Keeping $90 million in Outdoor Equity Grants.
  9. Pouring another $4.2 billion into the high speed rail system that has already cost $128 billion and goes nowhere useful.
  10. Increasing taxes on businesses, including eliminating allowing businesses to write off operating expenses for taxes.

There are no Republicans holding any statewide office.

CATHOLIC: A video portal was installed in New York City and in Dublin to allow passersby to connect with people in real time between the two locations. In May, Dominican priests who live just around the corner from the portal in Ireland led the rosary with Catholics in both locations. D.C.: Last week, a female carjacked and crashed a vehicle with an elderly woman still in it. The kidnap victim was pronounced dead following the incident. Democrat US Attorney Matthew Graves is charging the perp with a single count of unarmed carjacking.

Two years ago, an elderly woman participated in a prayer protest that temporarily blocked an abortion clinic. Democrat US Attorney Matthew Graves charged her with violating the FACE Act; she was recently sentenced to two years behind bars.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a gain. We are not like them.

HUNTER: After deliberating for just three hours, the jury found Son of Fauxtus guilty on all three counts stemming from his purchase and owning of a firearm while being addicted to illegal drugs.

It seems likely the fact that the Biden DOJ allowed the case to go forward so the administration’s legal vendetta against Trump would have some appearance of non-partisanship. But note that the gun crimes predate Joe’s term in the White House.

We all remember how the Secret Service was totally stumped when it came to figuring out who had brought a bag of cocaine into the super secure White House while the First Son was visiting. The videos from that day show Hunter was high-as-a-kite … but I’m sure that was all just a coinkidink.

What Dr. Haim actually did was blow the whistle on Texas Children’s Hospital, which was violating a Texas law banning child butchery. Oops, I mean, “gender-affirming sex-change surgery.” The federal charges claim he revealed personal and private medical records, but according to the report I read, he went to painstaking lengths to redact names and other identifying info of the victims.

CATHOLIC: I just came across an interesting argument in favor of the Catholic doctrine that the Blessed Virgin Mary was taken, body and soul, into Heaven. Microchimerism.

From Wikipedia: “Microchimerism is the presence of a small number of cells in an individual that have originated from another individual and are therefore genetically distinct. … In humans (and perhaps in all placental mammals), the most common form is fetomaternal microchimerism (also known as fetal cell microchimerism or fetal chimerism) whereby cells from a fetus pass through the placenta and establish cell lineages within the mother. Fetal cells have been documented to persist and multiply in the mother for several decades.”

It seems absurd to suppose that God would have allowed Mary’s body to rot in the ground, if His Son’s divine cells were inside her.

ISRAEL: Eight months after the heinous attack by Hamas on Israel, four of the hostages have been rescued by a joint operation conducted by the IDF, Israel Security Agency, and Israel Police. They are reportedly in good health.

IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said the mission was based on “precise” intelligence and that Israeli forces came under fire during the operation. United States Central Command got so much flak for possibly having assisted in rescuing hostages from a terrorist organization that they put out a statement clarifying that Biden’s humanitarian pier was not used in the rescue.

RELIGION: In Spokane, WA, and in Delray Beach, FL, teens have been charged with felony crimes for leaving tire marks on a “pride” crosswalk. In both cities, the crosswalks were immediately repainted. Never mind all that crap they spew about “separation of church and state.” This LGBTQXYZ crap has become the state religion in some areas of our country.

TRANS: The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) and the FBI have both refused to release the diary, aka manifesto, of the trans woman, Audrey Hale, who invaded her alma mater, Covenant School, and murdered three adults and three children. However, the Tennessee Star has obtained copies of nearly 80 pages. They reveal a mentally disturbed young woman who was suckered into believing all her problems were the result of being born in the wrong gender body.

GRAMMY NOTES: A friend’s home schooled son was procrastinating about doing his work, so he told him, “If you don’t stop giving your mother a hard time, we might have to stop home schooling. If you have to go a regular school, you will still have to do stuff like this. But when you finish, you’ll have to do more stuff just like it, over and over again, until the end of the day. Then, you will get even more of the same to do in the evening. If you want to continue to enjoy home schooling, go finish this stuff NOW, and then you can do as you please for the rest of the day.”

Alex DeGrasse, a senior advisor to Rep. Stefanik, noted that the Marxist congressional candidate is a carpetbagger who previously lived full-time in New York City before moving to a rented bed and breakfast room in NY-21.

Rather than take back her remarks, Collins instead DOUBLED DOWN on having MAGA fans “re-educated” in an interview with Fox News. Except she referred to it as “civics education.” Uh huh. Hitler did this too. The following is from the Encyclopedia Britannica:

At the end, she told Harlow, who will turn 76 later this month, to “make an effort to remain alive” throughout her two year incarceration. Sen. Ted Cruz called her a disgrace to the justice system. Harlow and her co-defendants say they have been praying for Harlow since the trial began.

COVID-19: Alina Chan, a Harvard and MIT molecular biologist, says not only that the COVID-19 virus most likely leaked from a Chinese lab, but also that the US bears responsibility for pumping tens of millions of dollars into high-risk research on extremely infectious viruses at the Wuhan facility, which has weak safety protocols. The only thing surprising about any of this is that the report was published as a guest essay in the New York Times, which has long been skeptical and dismissive of the lab leak theory.

On the first day and in my syllabus, I defined “jargon” and explained both its function and that whenever I used a word with which they were unfamiliar, they should stop me and ask for a definition. The director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has declared “it’s time to be more aggressive in pushing back on anti-vaxxers.”

St. Charles Lwanga, Martyr

Today is the feast day of St. Charles Lwanga of Buganda, who was martyred for the faith on June 3, 1886. Buganda is the Bantu kingdom that lies in the south-central region of Uganda.

King Mwanga of Buganda ascended to the throne October 18, 1884 at the age of 16. The young king liked boys, but found that many of the pages in his court rejected his advances, because they had converted to Christianity. In addition, two men who held the position of Master of Pages – Joseph Mukasa and Charles Lwanga – repeatedly rescued the royal pages in their care from the king’s sexual predations.

Enraged, King Mwanga had Joseph beheaded, only to find his replacement, Charles, was just as troublesome. The king ordered all the Christians in his court to choose between renouncing Jesus or dying. All 30 of the Catholic and Anglican court pages chose death.  The stained glass image above shows King Mwanga sentencing the Uganda Martyrs to death on May 26, 1886. It is in the Munyonyo Martyrs Shrine in Kampala, Uganda.

Twenty-two of these men, those who had converted to Catholicism, were first forced on a two-day march to Namugongo. There, they were bound together for several days while wood was gathered to burn them. Charles Lwanga, as the leader, was selected first. The executioners tortured him, offering him life if he apostatized. When Charles refused, they set fire to his stake. He told his executioner, “It is as if you are pouring water on me. Please repent and become a Christian like me.” At last, Charles looked heavenward, exclaimed, “My God!” and expired. It was June 3, 1886.

Within a year after the slaughter, the number of catechumens in the kingdom rose from 800 to 3,000. Uganda is now 84.4% Christian.
