ICE: On November 9, Akhror Bozorov (31) was arrested while he was driving an 18-wheeler in Kansas. In 2022, Bozorov’s native Uzbekistan accused him of having ties to terrorists and issued a warrant for his arrest. He fled to the U.S. where, in February 2023, he was arrested by Border Patrol attempting to cross the border.
Despite the fact that his home country has labeled him a terrorist, the Biden administration granted him authorization to work and released him. Then Pennsylvania, under Gov. Josh Shapiro, gave him a Commercial Driver’s License. Cuz, yeah, terrorist illegal aliens should totes be operating 18-wheelers on America’s highways.
Even worse, Bozorov’s driver’s license has a REAL ID star on it, meaning he could use it to board a domestic flight or enter a secure federal facility or military base. Cuz, why wouldn’t we want to give terrorist illegal aliens ready access to high value terror targets?

SMH: Then-Rep. Duffy resigned from his position after his ninth child was born with health complications requiring open-heart surgery. By resigning rather than taking leave, he sacrificed his salary, opened up the position for someone else to take over and actually do the work, and had to find a new line of work that allowed him to spend more time with his family.
Then-TransSec Buttigieg took maternity leave after delivery of the surrogate twins he and his husband had purchased. During his time at home, he continued to draw a salary while nobody was doing his job. At the end of his leave, he returned to his job at full pay.

BBC: Last week, The Telegraph reported that the BBC’s premiere investigative program, the longest-running in the world, deceptively edited Trump’s speech on January 6, 2021, to make it seem like he called for violence at the Capitol.
Both the BBC Director General Tim Davie & News CEO Deborah Turness have been forced to resign. Trump’s lawyers have also sent a letter to the BBC, demanding the network retract “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements” made about Trump that were “fabricated and aired by the BBC”
“Failure to comply will leave President Trump with no choice but to pursue any and all legal rights and remedies available to recover damages for the overwhelming financial and reputational harm that the BBC has caused him to suffer, with all rights and remedies being expressly reserved by President Trump.”

S&G: One of the largest branches of the German Protestant church has defended a pastor after she blessed a relationship between four men and declared the “polycule” was married “in the eyes of God.”
The event occurred at a “pop-up wedding festival” at the St Paul the Apostle church in Berlin which was offering free blessings for those who wished to avoid “lengthy formalities.”
The pastor said, “You could see right away that there was so much love between them. Why should God have anything against there being four of them rather than two?”

WORST BOOK REVIEW EVER: Free Beacon’s review of Karine Jean-Pierre’s new book is so bad that Glenn Beck read it word-for-word on his show. It starts, “Karine Jean-Pierre can’t stop making history. Earlier this year, the former White House press secretary became the highest-ranking openly queer, French-born black woman with a hyphenated surname to publicly renounce the Democratic Party for being mean to Joe Biden. She is the only black female lesbian immigrant to publish a book about her time in the Biden administration. HISTORY: Hitoshi Imamura was a Japanese general during World War II, commanding forces in Southeast Asia, including the Dutch East Indies. Under his leadership, Japanese troops committed numerous atrocities against civilians and prisoners of war. After Japan’s surrender, Imamura was tried by an Allied military tribunal and sentenced to ten years in prison for war crimes. Unlike many of his peers who denied responsibility, Imamura expressed remorse, believing his sentence was too lenient given the suffering inflicted under his command.
In a striking act of personal accountability, Imamura built a replica prison cell in his garden after his release and chose to live there voluntarily until his death in 1968. The cell was austere and modeled after wartime confinement conditions, symbolizing his ongoing penitence. His self-imposed isolation stood in stark contrast to the widespread denial among other convicted officials, offering a rare example of moral reckoning in postwar Japan.

RACIAL PROFILING: My brother was a CEO in Los Angeles years ago. He said they were legally barred from ever asking anyone about or making a record of individual employees’ races. They were also legally required to match the local racial demographics, department by department, and to report these numbers to the government on a regular basis. The government sent surprise inspectors to tour the facilities and verify the reports were true.

GRAMMY NOTES: I suffered a long bout of illness in 2016. Dearest nursed me through it all, picking me up, cleaning me, feeding me. I remember one moment after a fall.
