CATHOLIC HOSPITALS: On Wednesday, U.S. Bishops officially banned gender transition treatment at Catholic hospitals. Bishops will have autonomy in putting the new directives into law for their dioceses. More than one in seven patients in the U.S. are treated each day at Catholic hospitals. In some areas, Catholic hospitals are the only medical centers available.

CROCKETT: One of the Left’s Trump-hating darlings has just been outed for the elitist fraud she is. Federal Election Commission filings show that Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX-39) has spent nearly $75,000 on luxury hotels, transportation and security this year. While “representing” her Dallas constituents, she found it necessary to stay at luxury hotels and use limousine services to visit Martha’s Vineyard, Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

ICE: On November 4 in Los Angeles, CA, ICE officers arrested Victoria Sorocean, an illegal alien wanted in her home country for premeditated murder committed with exceptional cruelty. Sorocean and an accomplice beat the victim with a stick and electrical cable before throwing the victim out a ninth-floor window. In 2013, she fled to the U.S. to avoid prison.

ICE had her in custody during the Biden administration, yet despite her murder conviction, they released her to roam free in American neighborhoods, as they did so many other criminals. Not this time. She will remain in ICE custody until she can be returned to Moldova.

SIGH: ::sigh:: my hometown. We call it “The Berkley of the East” and “The Soviet Socialist Republic of Ithaca.”

SMH: Then-Rep. Duffy resigned from his position after his ninth child was born with health complications requiring open-heart surgery. By resigning rather than taking leave, he sacrificed his salary, opened up the position for someone else to take over and actually do the work, and had to find a new line of work that allowed him to spend more time with his family.

Then-TransSec Buttigieg took maternity leave after delivery of the surrogate twins he and his husband had purchased. During his time at home, he continued to draw a salary while nobody was doing his job. At the end of his leave, he returned to his job at full pay.

S&G: One of the largest branches of the German Protestant church has defended a pastor after she blessed a relationship between four men and declared the “polycule” was married “in the eyes of God.”

The event occurred at a “pop-up wedding festival” at the St Paul the Apostle church in Berlin which was offering free blessings for those who wished to avoid “lengthy formalities.”

The pastor said, “You could see right away that there was so much love between them. Why should God have anything against there being four of them rather than two?”

Earlier this year, the former White House press secretary became the highest-ranking openly queer, French-born black woman with a hyphenated surname to publicly renounce the Democratic Party for being mean to Joe Biden. She is the only black female lesbian immigrant to publish a book about her time in the Biden administration. HISTORY: Hitoshi Imamura was a Japanese general during World War II, commanding forces in Southeast Asia, including the Dutch East Indies. Under his leadership, Japanese troops committed numerous atrocities against civilians and prisoners of war. After Japan’s surrender, Imamura was tried by an Allied military tribunal and sentenced to ten years in prison for war crimes. Unlike many of his peers who denied responsibility, Imamura expressed remorse, believing his sentence was too lenient given the suffering inflicted under his command.

In a striking act of personal accountability, Imamura built a replica prison cell in his garden after his release and chose to live there voluntarily until his death in 1968. The cell was austere and modeled after wartime confinement conditions, symbolizing his ongoing penitence. His self-imposed isolation stood in stark contrast to the widespread denial among other convicted officials, offering a rare example of moral reckoning in postwar Japan.

RACIAL PROFILING: My brother was a CEO in Los Angeles years ago. He said they were legally barred from ever asking anyone about or making a record of individual employees’ races. They were also legally required to match the local racial demographics, department by department, and to report these numbers to the government on a regular basis. The government sent surprise inspectors to tour the facilities and verify the reports were true.

It is absurd that tents need to be erected on the South Lawn for state dinners, and VIPs are forced to use porta-potties.”

GRAMMY NOTES: I suffered a long bout of illness in 2016. Dearest nursed me through it all, picking me up, cleaning me, feeding me. I remember one moment after a fall. He was holding me close as he lifted me off the floor and laid me back into bed. I said, “Most of this sucks. But this, right here, this is really nice.”

BALLROOM: If the president were a Democrat, they’d be calling the change historic, visionary, and long overdue.

EVERYDAY HEROES: When Navy sailor Douglas Hegdahl was captured during the Vietnam War and thrown into the infamous Hanoi Hilton prison, he pretended to be clumsy, slow-witted, and illiterate. His captors gave him freedom to wander around the camp, because they thought he was too simple to be a threat. He memorized the names, capture dates, and conditions of 256 of his fellow prisoners, setting the information to the tune of “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” which he sang silently in his head, day after day, so he wouldn’t forget a thing.

All of the POWs had agreed that no one would accept early release. However, when the North Vietnamese offered to send Hegdahl home as a propaganda stunt, his fellow prisoners told him to go. His “Old MacDonald” information was some of the most valuable intelligence of the war. He later attended the Paris Peace Talks and confronted the North Vietnamese with his firsthand information about the mistreatment of prisoners.

FYI: Ours has recommended that, unless we already have something, we donate cash rather than buy food to donate. Reason being, they can buy food for less than we can.

SCOFFLAW: NY Attorney General Letitia James has been indicted for mortgage fraud for having claimed a house in Virginia as her primary residence for the purposes of obtaining a more favorable loan. In June 2025, a relative of James named Nakia Thompson (left) testified before a federal grand jury that she has occupied the property for years with her three children, that she neither pays rent nor contributes to maintenance and that James visits several times a year.

While it may be commendable of James to provide housing to her needy relatives, it should be pointed out that, as an attorney, Letitia James took an oath to uphold the law. Nakia Thompson (36) has a long history of criminal violations, including burglary, grand larceny, possession of burglary tools, and child endangerment-related traffic offenses.

Because she is wanted in North Carolina for parole violations, AG Letitia “No one is above the law” James has been harboring a wanted fugitive. N.b., while this accusation has not been proven in court, it has been substantiated by court documents, probation records, and grand jury testimony.

EVERYDAY HEROES: On July 15, while driving on Interstate 75 near Resaca, Georgia, Hugh Cox passed out behind the wheel of his SUV due to a diabetic coma. His 10-year-old grandson, Drake, was the only passenger in the car.

As the SUV drifted into another lane on the high-traffic highway, Drake quickly called his mom. She instructed him to climb onto his grandfather’s lap, take the wheel, and carefully brake.
