DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Bless our children with all the graces they need to become truly holy. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

1A: CLICK https://x.com/FoxNews/status/1960495188352045143 [:23] to see a man who claims to be a veteran “challenge” Trump’s recent executive order by burning a flag near the White House. He shouted into his bullhorn, “Burning this flag as a protest to that illegal fascist president that sits in that house. … There’s a First Amendment right to burn the American flag. No president can make a law, period.”

He was arrested, not for peaceful protest by flag burning, but because he set a fire in a public park outside a designated area. As for making a law, Trump did no such thing. He merely encouraged prosecutors to apply to flag burning the SCOTUS ruling that speech intended to incite violence is not protected under the First Amendment.

BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP: The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals recent rulin in Moncada v. Blinken could strengthen Trump’s efforts to stop illegals from dropping their so-called “anchor babies” on U.S. soil.

The case involved the son of a Nicaraguan diplomat who had assumed he was a citizen, because he was born here. When he applied for a passport, they told him he wasn’t eligible, because his father had had full diplomatic immunity. The court ruled that he is not a U.S. citizen, because IOW, he and his family had not been “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States at the time of his birth.

Being “subject to the jurisdiction” means being under the complete legal authority of the U.S. government, including its laws, courts, and regulations. In United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898), the Supreme Court ruled that the U.S.-born child of parents who were legal residents, though not citizens, was himself a citizen.

The question remains if those who are here illegally qualify as “subject to the jurisdiction” or not. IRS, anyone?

CABINET CLIPS: [5:05] – I asked Grok to explain Rubio’s joke about having four jobs. “The remark highlights Rubio’s unprecedented accumulation of high-level roles in the Trump administration, stemming from a series of appointments and interim assignments since his confirmation as Secretary of State in January 2025.The four jobs Rubio referenced are:

  1. Secretary of State: Rubio’s primary Cabinet position, confirmed unanimously by the Senate (99-0) on January 20, 2025. He leads the U.S. Department of State, overseeing foreign policy, diplomacy, and international relations.
  2. Interim (Acting) National Security Adviser: Appointed in May 2025 after President Trump removed Mike Waltz from the role amid a scandal involving unsecured communications (known as “Signalgate”). This position involves advising the president on national security matters and coordinating the National Security Council.
  3. Acting Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID): Assumed in February 2025 as part of efforts to restructure and reduce the agency’s operations, including a freeze on foreign aid and significant staff cuts. USAID handles U.S. foreign aid and development assistance programs.
  4. Acting Archivist of the United States (National Archives and Records Administration – NARA): Also taken on in February 2025 following the dismissal of the previous archivist, Colleen Shogan, in what was described as an act of retribution related to past investigations into Trump’s handling of classified documents. This role oversees the preservation and management of federal records.

CRACKER BARREL: If you’ve been following the brouhaha about the logo, here’s the latest. The new logo is kaputski. After the corporation lost over $143 million in market value, the bigwigs decided the old guy and his barrel should return.

FBI: Operation Take Back America/Operation Summer Heat is targeting cartels and criminal organizations threatening our communities. On Tuesday, the FBI-Athens Middle Georgia Safe Streets Gang Task Force charged seventeen alleged gang members trafficking in violence and drugs. LEOs seized a grenade launcher, 26 firearms (including 12 rifles), $900K+ in drugs & cash, 26 kg of cocaine, 1.7 kg fentanyl, meth, crack, and more. A grenade launcher?!

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Grant us the graces we need to not make messes for You to clean up. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

AI: Yesterday, Grok told me Orlando’s rainbow crosswalk had not been repainted in years.

BORDER: Remember Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the MS-13 gang banger who has been the poster boy for Democrats’ opposition to Trump’s deportation efforts?

The Laughing Stock Media continue to report that he was “mistakenly” deported to El Salvador, which is his home country. As a known gang member, El Salvador locked him up and the Dems sent emissaries to El Savador so they could take photos of themselves for fund raising.

El Salvador sent him back to face federal human smuggling charges and, on Friday, he was released to home detention while he awaits trial.

But wait …the United States had made a deal with Uganda to take deportees who, like Abrego Gardia, don’t want to return to their home countries or whose home countries refuse to take them. Uganda prefers they not be violent criminals. Since Dems insist Abrego Garcia isn’t a human trafficking, woman beating scumbag who works for MS-13, he could go to Uganda. Right?

CANADA: Starting next month, Canada will drop its silly retaliatory tariffs and do what Trump said, which is fairly match our tariffs.

CATHOLIC: In 662, Maximus was convicted of heresy for teaching that Jesus possessed both a human and a divine will, a position rejected by then-Emperor Constans. He had his tongue cut out and his right hand cut off, so that he could no longer speak or write about his opposition to the imperial theology. He died soon after. Eighteen years later, the Sixth Ecumenical Council declared that Christ possessed both a human and a divine will and Maximus was posthumously declared innocent.

DRAINING THE SWAMP: [6:41] – Sending kids to war to make money is so evil. ::smh::

EDUCATION: Loudon County is at it again. The uber woke North Virginia school district investigated three high school boys for complaining about a girl using their locker room, then let the Muslim boy off the hook, while punishing the other two, who are Christians. Jason Miyares, Virginia’s Republican attorney general, has announced an investigation into the school district over the incident. The Founding Freedoms Law Center is representing the two boys.

HOUSING: I’ve been watching a YouTube of proud tiny home owners bragging their weensy little $200K house was such a bargain. I mean … seriously?!

We paid $42,000 for our little ranchburger back in 1984. Granted, it was a nothing special starter home, but it was sturdy, everything worked properly, and it was/is in a great neighborhood. It had 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a partially finished full basement. IOW, much larger than anything that qualifies as a tiny house. At 210.8% inflation, a house like ours should cost about $130,000. But according to the map above, the average home in New York currently costs $482,700, which suggests even a starter home is going for waaaay more than $130K.

I plugged the NYS average income ($86K) into the mortgage calculator linked below. It says someone with that income should be able to comfortably afford a house costing up to $287,739. Wow. No wonder so many young people and retirees are opting for tiny homes!

WOKE: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/pCRjscIFnI4 to hear Nick Freitas comment on the neo-Nazi going to a female prison.

GRAMMY NOTES: Why should kids learn handicrafts? [9:56] – Her comments about students lacking hand dexterity reminds me of two things. I remember video games being lauded as being useful for training eye-hand coordination. It appears they are not. I also remember hearing that Japanese kids who learn early to eat with chopsticks and do origami have unusually good hand dexterity.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Confuse every enemy attack and send it back to sender. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

BIDEN: [5:27] – Did you ever notice how often KJP et al. spoke of “the president” or “this president” with such sincerity? It makes me wonder if they were really talking to Obama and genuinely believed he was THE president.

BOLTON: [8:01] – On August 22, 2025, at about 7 a.m., FBI agents raided John Bolton’s home in Bethesda, Maryland. The word on the street is they had a warrant to search for classified documents. The Epoch Times said, “The FBI did not provide a substantive reply in response to an inquiry”, but noted FBI Director Kash Patel had posted on X, “NO ONE is above the law … @FBI agents on mission” and that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, had shared this, writing, “Public corruption will not be tolerated.” Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote on X, “America’s safety isn’t negotiable. Justice will be pursued. Always.

CALIFORNICATION: In the 2024 presidential election, nearly 40% of California voters chose Trump; fewer than 20% of California’s seats in the U.S. House of Representatives are filled by Republicans. But never mind all that! Democrats rule California and they want more! On August 21, Gov. Newsom on Aug. 21 signed a legislative package to put a measure on the Nov. 4 ballot that would redraw the state’s congressional map to redraw the boundaries for five of those nine seats, to give each of them a greater share of Democrat voters.

Florida did not issue an arrest warrant until August 15. Singh flew from Florida to California on the 14th and was apprehended by U.S. Marshals on August 16 without incident. He agreed to be transferred back to Florida to face charges. CLICK https://x.com/SplitMethod/status/1958628510169538841 [:22] to see video filmed by someone who drove by the accident Singh caused.

MEDIA: [3:23] – The White House Bureau Chief for the Washington Post reveals their agenda is not informing voters. Donald Trump owned the Miss Universe Organization (which includes Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen) from 1996 to 2015.

PARTY DEMOGRAPHICS: Between the 2020 and 2024 elections, in the 30 states (and D.C.) that allow voter registrations by party, Democrats lost about 2.1 million registered voters while Republicans gained about 2.4 million.

PEACE TALKS: I remember when Democrats cheered because Obama said he would talk to ANY world leader without preconditions. But Trump talks to Putin and they yell, “Russia is our enemy!! How DARE he talk to Putin?!

RUSSIA vs UKRAINE: Not long after Putin met with Trump in Alaska, the Russian army launched one of its largest overnight strikes since the war began. More than six hundred drones, ballistic and cruise missiles landed on Ukraine, killing one, injuring dozens and destroying an American-owned electronics company less than an hour from two NATO borders.

SCOTUS: The Supremes voted 5–4 on Aug. 21 to allow the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to cancel hundreds of millions of dollars in research grants linked to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. The Trump administration argued that National Institutes of Health grants conflict with the president’s policy goals.

TRANS: OMG interview with Vanessa Savidge [1:34:20] – Vanessa Sivadge thought she’d found her dream job as a pediatric nurse at the nation’s top children’s hospital. Instead, she says she watched doctors steer healthy kids into gender transitions, prescribing powerful drugs, billing taxpayers, and hiding it from the public.

Out of her concern for the kids, she spoke anonymously in 2023 with journalist Christopher Rufo about the hospital having publicly claimed to have shut down the transgender medicine program, yet said it was continuing. Approximately two months after that interview, two FBI agents, Paul Nixon and David McBride, came to her home, identifying her as a “person of interest” in an investigation related to a whistleblower who had exposed the program, alleging a violation of federal privacy laws (HIPAA).

She claimed the agents intimidated her, stating they would “make life difficult” for her if she was protecting the leaker and suggested she was “not safe” at work, implying someone at her workplace had given her name to the FBI. Doorbell camera footage shared by Rufo captured the agents at her door, asking to speak with her about “some of the things that have been going on at [her] work lately.

I am gobsmacked that those two FBI agents showed up on official business wearing jeans and casual shirts.

GRAMMY NOTES: Aidan Perry, a young Florida man, survived being shot in the chest because a cross pendant his dad gave him last Christmas deflected the bullet. [4:35] – When my brother was in Vietnam, he was shot in the torso by a sniper. The bullet did massive damage, his recovery was long, and he has had some lifelong health issues as a result. But what the bullet did not do was kill him. The surgeon who removed the bullet said that, based on its trajectory, it should have gone straight through his heart. The surgeon said it had not hit anything that could have deflected it. It just altered course inside my brother’s chest and went around his heart!

Feast of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven

DAILY PRAYER: Mary, Mother of Mercy, intercede for us, your children. Keep us under your protection, safe from all harm, healthy in mind, body, and spirit. Under your watchful care, may we avoid the pitfalls of prejudice, ingratitude, injustice, and violence. And may we be always worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

AI: When Mama Buzz first opened yesterday’s “Bits & Bytes” on her phone, the prayer showed up with a transparent background. She highlighted it, intending to make it visible so she could read it. Somehow, this triggered an AI to add what I’ve shown above. Wonderful thoughts, all of them, even if they did utterly miss the point I was trying to make by combining the prayer with that graphic. But I guess the Holy Spirit wanted us to see it, because when Mama reloaded, the prayer formatted correctly.

Third Anniversary of the Mar-a-Lago Raid

The following was written by Senator Tom Cotton [R-Arkansas] and published the New York Post on August 7, 2025 (link below). I added the graphics.

It was on Aug. 8, 2022 that 30 FBI agents, armed and authorized to use deadly force, raided the home of then-former President Donald Trump — with the blessing of his successor, then-President Joe Biden.

The absurdly broad raid warrant covered “any government and/or Presidential Records” dated during the years of Trump’s presidency, and “containers/boxes . . . collectively stored” near classified documents.

According to the FBI raid affidavit, Trump possessed “Presidential records subject to record retention requirements” — an odd claim, given that presidents have an established right to designate records as “personal records.”

In fact, under the Presidential Records Act, only the president decides which records are presidential and which are personal. Odder still, one would expect a search warrant to be based on alleged violations of criminal law. But this one wasn’t, because the Presidential Records Act is a purely civil statute.

The FBI also claimed that Trump violated the Espionage Act because he refused to return classified documents after the National Archives demanded them. Yet the FBI had no evidence to support that Trump knew the boxes sent to his home contained classified information.

To get around this inconvenient fact, the Department of Justice tried to thread the needle by arguing Trump “caused” the boxes to be packed, attempting to make him appear just as guilty as if he knew their contents.

Attorney General Merrick Garland also ignored the only existing precedent, which involved President Ronald Reagan. After leaving office, Reagan kept classified material from his presidency in his home — and while the Justice Department was aware of this situation, it took no action. Since this precedent worked in Trump’s favor, the Biden DOJ conveniently ignored it.

Similarly, given the president’s unique position in our constitutional system, the Supreme Court has ruled that certain laws should not apply to a president unless that law explicitly specifies otherwise. The Espionage Act does not contain such language, but the DOJ ignored that inconvenient fact, too.

Ironically, while Biden’s administration was weaponizing criminal law against Trump, Biden himself was caught red-handed with more than 130 classified documents — that we know of — dating from his vice presidency and his tenure as a senator.

Biden kept these sensitive documents in his personal Washington, DC, office and all over his Wilmington, Del., home, some of them in file folders labeled with Biden’s own handwriting. No legal compulsion was sought in Biden’s case, even though Biden told his ghostwriter in 2017, “I just found all the classified stuff downstairs.” In other words, he confessed on tape.

Pundits defended the different handling of the two cases on the grounds that Biden cooperated with investigators, while Trump did not. But Biden “cooperated” with a rigged process, designed by his own administration. That process allowed Biden’s lawyers to sweep and search the crime scenes — after classified documents were discovered, and after a criminal case was opened — before any FBI searches took place. At one point, a Biden White House lawyer intervened in the chain of custody of a classified document, seizing it from the FBI because the then-president had not consented to the FBI’s possession.

This double standard is nothing short of breathtaking. Where Trump was charged for merely “causing” boxes to be packed, Biden was specifically not charged because he “did not move the files himself” and “depended on staffers.” With Trump, the Reagan precedent was ignored; with Biden, it was upheld due to “basic principles of notice and fairness.”

For Trump, the Supreme Court’s “express statement” doctrine, that certain laws should not apply to a president unless expressly stated, was ignored. For Biden, the DOJ applied this doctrine — historically extended to include vice presidents — and declined prosecution to avoid “significant separation of powers concerns.” Prosecutors charged Trump with 40 felonies — effectively life in prison. Prosecutors charged Biden with nothing.

Those now angrily denouncing Trump for enforcing US laws — laws he is duty-bound to enforce — fully supported forging the justice system into a guillotine to lop off Trump’s head. Because they don’t really care about law. And they don’t really care about justice. They only care about power. Regaining power — and retaining it.

The White House Ballroom

Construction is due to start next month on a new 90,000-square-foot White House State Ballroom to host major functions, eliminating the need for temporary tents on the South Lawn. The ballroom will have a seated capacity of 650 people, significantly larger than the largest current event space, the East Room, which has a 200-person capacity. CLICK https://x.com/FoxNews/status/1951393572894191707 to hear Trump say he’ll pay for the whole thing himself if private donors don’t contribute. Estimated cost is $200 million.

The last time a president oversaw a major renovation to the White House was the Truman Reconstruction (1948 to 1952). The White House, originally built in 1800 and rebuilt after the War of 1812, was in dire need of renovation. The interior wooden beams and floors were sagging and at risk of collapse and the plumbing, electricity, and heating systems were antiquated, posing fire hazards and inefficiencies.

With congressional approval, Truman initiated a comprehensive reconstruction to both preserve and modernize the White House. The interiors were gutted down to the foundation so a new steel and concrete framework was installed to replace the weakened wooden structure, ensuring long-term stability. Moldings, fireplaces, and paneling were carefully removed beforehand and reinstalled after to preserve the White House’s historical character.

A deeper, stronger foundation was dug to support the building and a two-story basement was added, including a bomb shelter (in response to Cold War nuclear fears) and mechanical rooms. New electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems were installed to meet modern standards. The Grand Staircase was rebuilt, and new elevators were installed for accessibility.

Truman added a balcony on the second floor of the South Portico, providing a private outdoor space for the First Family. This was controversial at the time, as critics argued it altered the White House’s iconic facade, but it’s now a beloved feature. The same thing happened in Paris when the Eiffel Tower was built. So, while I saw a lot of griping on X about Trump’s ballroom, I’m sure that one day it will be a cherished and praised feature of the White House.

The new ballroom will maintain the same neoclassical architectural style and will be located in part where the East Wing currently stands. The East Wing, built in 1902 and expanded in 1942, currently houses offices for the First Lady, the White House Military Office, and visitor offices, all of which will be temporarily relocated during construction. It isn’t clear where those functions will be moved to after construction is finished. Part of the ballroom will jut onto the South Lawn, connected via the East Colonnade, with a Palladian facade and columns on its eastern wall.

Russian Collusion Hoax Update

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) recently got the 29-page appendix to John Durham’s May 2023 Special Counsel report declassified and released. The document contains evidence showing that then-Obama’s Secretary of State and Democrat presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, signed off on the plan to smear then-Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, with false claims of Russian collusion. This plan was inspired, in part, to distract voters from Clinton’s mounting email scandal.

The screenshot above is from page 11 of the Durham Annex. Leonard Benardo was Open Society Foundations’ regional director for Eurasia. Open Society Foundations (OSF), formerly the Open Society Institute, is an American grant-making network founded by billionaire George Soros and now run by his son Alex. Both Soros men have very close ties to Democrat leaders.

Open Society Foundations and the Soros billions are well known for supporting far-left political causes like Black Lives Matter and the Defund the Police movements that the Democrats have embraced. They Soros men are also known to have poured $40 million into the campaign coffers of 75 far-left Democrats who are now District Attorneys who refuse to prosecute criminals for political reasons. Back in February, a journalist testified before the House Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE) that his research revealed that Soros had funneled tens of millions of dollars to left-wing causes via donations from Open Society Foundations to the Democrats’ taxpayer-funded slush fund known as USAID.

Alex Soros, the current Chairman of the Board of Open Society Foundations, recently married Huma Abedin. Abedin’s first husband was the now-former congressman, Anthony “Carlos Danger” Weiner, whose political career failed spectacularly as a result of his multiple “sexting with other women while married” and “sexting with minors” scandals (2011, 2013, 2016).

Huma Abedin has long been bffs with Hillary Clinton. During Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, Abedin served as Clinton’s assistant and travelling chief of staff. From 2009 to 2013, Abedin served as deputy chief of staff while Clinton was Obama’s Secretary of State. She then took over as vice chair of Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, the same year she finally gave up on “Carlos Danger” and announced her intention to file for divorce and sue for full custody of their son.

The swanky wedding of Huma Abedin and Alex Soros was held on June 14, 2025, at the Soros estate in the Hamptons. It was attended by a host of prominent Democrats, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and Nancy Pelosi.

The unveiling of the Democrats’ Russian Collusion Hoax is far from over. FBI Director Kash Patel announced this week that they had found multiple burn bags filled with thousands of incriminating documents. I heard one pundit speculate that the person tasked with burning the stuff knew it was evidence and didn’t want to be a party to it. Patel said when he arrived to take over at the FBI, many staff members and agents quietly expressed their gratitude that the crooks were gone, so it seems likely to me that the person who hid the bags tipped off the new regime about them.

Perspective

I just saw a string of tweets complaining about the high cost to taxpayers for Trump to fly to Scotland to cut a ribbon on his new golf course there. Dan Bongino noted that the complainer failed to mention that Trump also signed a trade deal worth $1.2 Trillion, making the trip a hugely profitable investment for We the Taxpayers

They are saying it cost us $10 Million for his travel and security. Here’s the run down, according to Grok, for what is required for a presidential residence. Keep in mind that the White House, Camp David, and the POTUS’ personal homes are routinely outfitted for the duration of their terms in office. Most presidential families, including the Bidens, routinely vacationed at their own homes. Trump primarily vacations at Mar-a-Lago, where Melania lives when she is not needed for First Lady duties.

Grok provided the following run down of what has to be done whenever and wherever POTUS is residing.

  1. Road closures, checkpoints, and restricted airspace. If the location is near water, there may be Coast Guard patrols offshore and Navy SEALs stationed nearby.
  2. Windows are replaced with bulletproof and blast-resistant glass. Doors and walls may be reinforced with steel or concrete to withstand explosions.
  3. Entry points are equipped with metal detectors, biometric scanners, keycard systems, PIN pads, and ID checks.
  4. CCTV cameras, infrared sensors, and drones monitor the grounds.
  5. Counter-sniper teams and anti-aircraft defenses (e.g., Stinger missile systems) are deployed.
  6. Electronic countermeasures to block unauthorized communications or drone signals.
  7. Safe Rooms: The White House has a secure bunker, the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC). Temporary residences may have designated safe rooms retrofitted with reinforced doors and emergency supplies.
  8. Secret Service details operate 24/7, with agents stationed inside and outside the residence. The White House has a Secret Service command post, while vacation homes require advance teams to secure properties weeks in advance.
  9. Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams from the military support the Secret Service, sweeping for bombs or hazardous materials.
  10. Encrypted phone lines, video conferencing, and real-time data feeds for global monitoring; communications connections to the Pentagon, CIA, and other agencies via secure networks; secure routers and signal jammers to prevent hacking; backup systems for everything.
  11. The “football” (the nuclear launch codes briefcase) must be nearby.
  12. Secret Service, presidential staff, and press all have to be housed and equipped with space and equipment to do their jobs.
  13. The Secret Service must work with local police, fire departments, and hospitals to establish emergency protocols for every trip away from the White House. In Hawaii, local police overtime cost $250,000 per trip, with ambulances on standby ($10,000).
  14. Transportation to, from, and at the destination. These include not only Marine One and Air Force One, but also all ancillary transportation required to transport people and equipment. In particular, the reinforced vehicles used in presidential motorcades are transported on Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD) aircraft, such as the Grumman C-2. Secret Service recently created a reinforced golf cart for Trump that has been dubbed Golf Force One. It too has to be transported.

The Obamas vacationed annually in Hawaii for Christmas, often staying 2–3 weeks in pricey rental properties. For summer vacations, the Obamas preferred Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, where they again staying in rented homes. The estimated costs for each of these trips was about the same $10 Million the complainers are squawking about for Trump’s visit to Scotland.

For winter breaks, the Obamas liked Aspen, Colorado, costing an estimated at $500,000–$1 million per trip, including security. And a couple of times they went to Palm Springs, California (2013, 2014) for golf and relaxation. More million$.

In August 2009, the Obama family went hiking and rafting in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, and Grand Canyon, Arizona. They said it was to promote conservation. In July 2010, they went to Bar Harbor, Maine, where they hiked in Acadia National Park and enjoyed local lobster dinners. Maybe that was to promote tourism?

Bits & Bytes

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Please help us to make kindness our default position, except when to do so would violate Your Truths. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

CATHOLIC: This is a beautiful talk. [20:09] – I am hypersensitive to perfume and, before I became too affected to attend Mass at all, I would stay in the cry room. One Sunday in the late 1980s, I went to the cry room as usual, but found it filled with youthful confirmands, all dressed up and smelling much too good. My little girl and I retreated to an adjacent, empty room, only to have Bishop Matthew Clark (Rochester, NY diocese) come in with his assistants to vest. I explained why we were there and tried to leave, but he said no, we should stay. Before he vested, he got down on his knees and had a sweet interchange with my daughter.

CHRISTIAN CULTURE: Recently, there has been controversy surrounding Chip and Joanna Gaines who decided to feature a same-sex couple on their Back to the Frontier reality show. The Gaines couple have been public about their Christian faith and, in the past, have been associated with the Antioch Community Church, which holds traditional views on marriage.

I don’t actually care about the issue, but I was intrigued by Allie Beth Stuckey’s comment about CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xUT4wcpDJVA. “You can believe that you have found a way to out-compassion God.” Whoa … what an excellent way to think about this! As for assuming that money and/or fame are God’s rewards, it was Satan who offered all that stuff to Jesus. Jesus promised His followers the cross.

FOUND on the GUADALUPE RIVER: A Texas woman founded a Facebook group where Texans can share photos of objects and pets lost in the flood or found after. I looked at a few pages and the tears were running down my cheeks.

HYPOCRITES: Democrats trying to benefit from MAGA-ites who are pissed about the Epstein files have been asked why they didn’t demand the files be released while Biden was in office. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (left) said she was too busy with other things. Rep. Jamie Raskin (right) said he doesn’t know.

MEDIA SHILLS: CLICK https://x.com/mazemoore/status/1946020435037925585 [:51] to see another example of the hyper-politicized, unfunny propaganda that CBS paid Colbert $15 million a year to produce.

NEW YUCK CITY: CLICK https://x.com/bennyjohnson/status/1945858127577940297 [:36] to hear Zohran Mamdani defend the abolition of private property. He is New York City’s leading (i.e., Democrat) mayoral candidate, which is a very scary thought. House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries, has reportedly met with Mamdani … and has continued to not endorse him.

PARENTING: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ogy9BesmOEk to see how identity politics should be handled. This is exactly what my parents would’ve done! LOL

PRISONER EXCHANGE: All ten Americans who have been held in Venezuela have been swapped for the return of more than 250 Venezuelan men (mostly Tren de Aragua members) whom we deported to El Salvadoran prisons.

Among those released was Wilbert Castañeda, a former U.S. Navy SEAL. His brother, Christian, said in a statement to The Epoch Times: “We have prayed for this day for almost a year. My brother is an innocent man who was used as a political pawn by the Maduro regime. We knew that President Trump would not leave a decorated SEAL behind.”

RUSSIA HOAX: “A treasonous conspiracy” [7:40] – Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has declassified documents revealing “overwhelming evidence” that then-President Barack Obama and his national security team didn’t like the intelligence community’s assessment that Russia had no ability or desire to interfere with the 2016 presidential election. At Obama’s direction, they suppressed publication of this assessment and manufactured fake evidence aimed at destroying Donald Trump and his administration.

GRAMMY NOTES: True. I was born this way. My first grade teacher remarked once that I was a “lone wolf.”
