    Great columns today.

    The Florida high school exit exam (I’m assuming that means something students have to pass before they can graduate?) is scary. Those questions could have been written by the head of the CPUSA. I liked this response from “Harry Tuttle” that appeared in the comments section (referring to specific questions on the exam):

    I can do this.

    * Analyze the major factors that drove United States imperialism.

    Because we had all the guns and the money. But we were never Imperialists, look it up and understand what the word means.

    * Examine the controversy surrounding the proliferation of nuclear technology in the United States.

    This is a trick question as there was in fact no controversy, unless you were a dirty commie rat that is. It worked because we had all the smart people and the money and wanted to be able to kick everyone else’s a55.

    I *think* we still can, but that may not last if we aren’t careful.

    * Assess key figures and organizations in shaping the Black Power Movement.

    Ohhh ohh oohhh, Barack Obama.

    * Analyze significant Supreme Court decisions relating to reproductive rights.

    SC Judges have special glasses that allows them to read coded messages in the Constitution that no others are allowed to see. It’s like in the Wizard of Oz.

    * Describe efforts by the United States and other world powers to avoid future wars.

    By having the mostest and biggest guns.

    * Examine the failure of the United States to support the League of Nations.

    This of course was George Bush’s fault.
