I’m still puzzling over what someone’s looks have to do with wanting them in a foxhole with you. (And in this particular instance, attractiveness and charm are clearly subjective!)

I can feel for people who have naturally curly hair, assuming she didn’t do that to herself on purpose (shudders!). Debbie – you need good hair products.

I’ve got naturally curly hair and about 7 cowlicks. I fought with it for years, then figured out the one cut that looks good with a minimum of care. I’ve lived with that look ever since.
I shampoo and fluff dry. Period. If I wake up with pillow head, I wet it and fluff dry. It’s great having curly hair … provided you can learn to accept that you’re NOT going to be following any hair fashion trends EVER. Which is easy for me cuz I could like … CARE (not). LOL
Just so long as it’s clean and the view in the mirror doesn’t set off any violent urges to binge on hot fudge sundaes, I’m good. .
Speaking of hair, has anyone ever heard of hair color changing on its own? And I don’t mean to gray or white. Mine’s been doing that for years. I have always had dark brown hair that, to my delight, was slowly changing to white, which I always wanted. I love white hair!
Lately, it’s begun to look truly odd on top. I thought it was my imagination, but the girls came home this months and they ALL remarked on it. The dark brown is turning distinctly reddish. I never use anything on it but the one shampoo I tolerate, which I’ve used for years and years. And I went through menopause years ago.
I’m so curious what would do this. Maybe a nutritional deficiency? The texture is the same. It’s just the color.

Good point about looks and charm vs. foxhole. Personally, I’d go with steady nerves and good aim for my foxhole partner. Just demonstrates once again how little Lefties know about the military.
