I can still see the picture of Markie Post and Linda Bloodworth Thomasson jumping up and down on the bed in the Lincoln bedroom and giggling like small children when the horny hick was there.It made me sick to see that bunch of juveniles using the Peoples’ House like an amusement park.They remind me of my granddaughters who do the same thing on my old bed.The kids are 4 and 5 years old.

I’d also appreciate links about Oval Office protocol (particularly dress codes) of diff administrations. My impression is the GOP is respectful, the Dems not. But I need more than my snarky opinion to graphic this one.

I do know that Ronald Reagan would never go in to the oval office without his jacket and tie. I’m pretty sure George Bush 41 followed the same rule. Bill Clinton, on the other hand, would go out for a morning jog in sweatpants and running shoes, then come inside and go into the oval office without bothering to take a shower and change his clothes first. I always thought that was disgusting and disrespectful.

Ditto to Grudge = Open Thread. It’s why I stopped posting a separate Open Path once Pete was up and running.
I do appreciate topical comments on my postings, and not just the rah rah ones. I also value all corrections, additions, ideas for other graphics, etc.
It’s also nice to just hear from somebody once or twice a day. It keeps me from feeling like I’m talking to dead air.

Help! No sleep and this conversation beckons for an answer. The first is me the second is a dear young man. Tender heart. Smart but been programmed from the breast milk up. The kid is a hard worker but gets nowhere; has had to take care of himself from a young age. The sad thing is he does not even know his random temp job assignments, little tiny down town apartment, and no car is the result of the ideologies he spews. Yet, his soul has some of the deepest compassion I have ever seen. He is down-deep nice. With the right friends and slow, steady nurture he has potential to think his way through the programming. Convo started with him stating taxes need to be raised. I really love and respect this young man.
Poster #1 “Raising taxes may backfire. There are a whole bunch of taxpayers who have put a self-imposed limit on the amount they are willing to have forcefully taken from the fruits of their labor and are committed to quitting the work force to join the 48% of Americans who do not pay taxes. After a certain point we are slaves and the non-taxpayers are the masters, forcing us to work to support them — and not having enough left to feed and clothe our own family. We prefer to die hungry, poor, homeless and free than live as a slave. Zero taxes are generated and most of the jobs abandoned will not be able to be done by the masses of non-taxpaying masters because they do not have the knowledge or skill sets. And that means????? Businesses will shut down from lack of work force and even less tax revenue will be generated. “Thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s goods(paycheck/money)” Sorry, I have been up all night trying to get the public school to enroll my undocumented child (no birth certificate) in school. Only children of illegal (criminal) immigrant children, they insist, must be admitted without documentation. Too many hours awake, a lot of legal crud clogging the brain cells, and everyone else using up my rights and my child’s rights when I have paid property taxes for public education and not used the money for YEARS. Sucks that my crime is I am a citizen and a taxpayer. God, I hope I am not embarrassed when I reread this after some sleep! Love you.”
Poster #2: “Most of that 48% are the super poor and make such little money the Federal Tax code says they don’t have to pay taxes. A single individual who makes $8,000 or less gets a pass simply because no one can live on that and it’s only fair that they use that money for food instead of taxes. However, these people still pay sales taxes, registration and service fees to the government. So, They are not deadbeats they are paying into the system.
I agree we are living as slaves but disagree to whom we serve. We are slaves to the powerful rich corporations who also pay some of the lowest corporate taxes in the world (or in the case of GE none at all) and get even more and bigger handouts. They created and abuse the system that busted the unions to keep us working for lower wages for more hours in unsafe conditions that neglect or basic human rights all in the name of huge profit for the sharholders. We are living Upton Sinclares “The Jungle” again.
It is a greater sin to have the most and refuse to give for the greater good than to have none and give what you can.
