Many commenters got the impression she was “endorsing” or supporting Newt, but I took it more as an anti-establishment message. She uses Newt as an example, because that’s who the recent attacks have been against. I still get the impression she wants more vetting before committing to a candidate. It may just be that she doesn’t want to swap endorsements after the nomination, should her candidate not get it, but I love that she’s willing to put her faith in the American people and let them decide, without telling them who to vote for.
