THE THURSDAY GRUDGE

Posted by Pistol Pete

Don Wade read some exerpts from ‘The Amateur’ on his show today. Apparently,Mooch advised the man-child not to run against Bobby Rush for his House seat. She reportedly went as far as drawing up divorce papers. He lost by a margin of 2-1 and was so depressed he contemplated suicide. She is also allegedly insanely jealous of any woman that comes near him.I think I’m going to order this book.

CLOWNS PLAN TO PROTEST DURING NATO SUMMIT
There was an audio clip on the radio from one of these idiots saying: ‘the cops throw flash bang grenades,we’ll throw pies.’ I think the first one who throws a pie at a police officer is going to find out what a taser feels like.
Besides, isn’t this bunch dressing like clowns a little redundant?

Did you see this from the bottom if that piece:
UPDATE: Citizens United’s spokesman, Jeff Marschner, retracted an initial denial that the group had sent the letter:

Neither Governor Huckabee nor Dave Bossie, President of Citizens United, approved the language presented and used in the fundraising letter that was sent out as a test to a small number of people. Both have taken corrective action to make sure that this does not happen again. It is language that is beneath Governor Huckabee and Dave Bossie and language that they would not use.”

Evidently, Huck did not write this, but some office hack did. It doesn’t surprise me. I didn’t think huck had the balls to be so honest. He is campaigning for VP after all (gag).

If only she had not changed her mind!
Their marriage is a sham. Why do women like her and Hillary and Elizabeth Edwards sell their souls to stay with men like this? Unhappiness leads to illness. Life is too short to spend with a spouse who lies and cheats. We are supposed to believe these women are strong and great role models? I believe they are cowards and willing to do anything for power.

CNN sealed their fate when that stupid “reporter” tried to bully a mom at the Chicago Tea Party and the video went viral.
I think it is great that the city that brought BHO to power has so many from the Land of Lincoln behind the movement to get our country back. It was Rick Santelli’s rant at the board of trade that started it all, and I am proud to say I was at the first tea party rally in Chicago that he got the whole ball rolling.
People still believe IL is hopelessly blue. It seems that way because the dems have gerimandered the hell out of our voting districts and they count the votes, so it is easy for them to control. But the truth is, in 2000, only four out of 105 IL counties went to Gore, the rest to Bush, but Gore still took IL because of Crook county. This state is failing because of the democratic mafia control and voters who do not bother to vote because they feel it is a lost cause.
The tea party movement has awakened a sleeping giant. We are still trying to get those in IL out of bed!

I am reading a book, “Indivisible” and there is a chapter on pacifism. Very interesting read. From the book, “….leftists who have such an exalted view of the govt. that they invite it into every nook and cranny of our lives, except, apparently, for defense, which is one of the few legitimate functions of govt.” The author says that Jesus commands that the state, as a third party, is supposed to execute justice, not revenge, on behalf of the aggrieved party. Living in the world of (sugar-free) lollipops and unicorns must be nice as you leave facing and confronting true evil to the rest of us.

    • The fatal flaw of pacifism is that it works only if everyone practices it — which will never happen. Pacifism may sound good in theory, but in practice it constitutes unilateral disarmament and unconditional surrender.

I’ve been hesitant to report on my iodine experiment, because it hasn’t been going on very long.

BUT I have been putting in amazingly long days, even when I have slept poorly and my heart is hurting.

Usually, those two things will put me on the couch after 4 or 5 hours of activity, then I’m stuck trying to pass time with books and flicks until I can try to get to sleep again.

The iodine did seem to set off a potent and unusual (for me) detox, but even while it was going on, I had more energy than I would expect when I’m stressed like that. And once it ended, I found myself still working 12 hours after I got out of bed … which is pretty much unheard of in my post-heart attack life.

Here’s hoping it IS the iodine, because I am loving being too busy to spend hours and hours on the damn couch.

That pretty much describes what iodine did for me, and why I am spreading the word. This stuff is amazing. I think Dr. B should get a Nobel Prize for his work. He is truly saving lives. Of course, the drug companies continue to scare people about it because they could lose billions if people were to discover that they do not need the thyroid drugs, which are useless in the long run. They keep pushing the anti iodine PR.
Keep in mind that iodine does not stay in the body if the receptor sites in our cells are full of the toxic halides, like chlorine and bromine and flouride. It takes a lot of iodine to flush them out and get them into the cells, so detoxing can talk a lot time, depending how toxic one is. And the TSH may go way up as the thyroid sucks up the iodine it is starving for. This is why doctors have been brainwashed that iodine is dangerous-it raises the TSH. They are told iodine causes one to become hyperthyroid. It is not true. They never consider
that people feel so much better! Iodine is one of the most essential elements our cells need-yet we are told it is dangerous. Allo”pathetic” medicine is a joke.
Don’t worry about taking too much iodine, though we must work into it slowly and take the companion nutrients, as well as do the salt loading. If we take too much, we will just expel it.

I dunno about bromine, but I think I’m probably doing real good on chlorine and fluoride, having been on chlorine-free filtered water only since 1984 and never having been exposed to fluoride at all.

Didn’t give fluoride to my kids either. The ped wanted to RX it but I asked our Berkie-toed DDS who said, “It’s rat poison. Dental caries is a nutritional disorder. Your family eats great.” My kids had zero dental issues until they were grown and on their own.

I’ve been detoxed repeatedly by various methods, so am hopeful the weird thing I experienced was maybe a one-off, iodine-specific. Maybe it was old chlorine, come to think. I used to swim a LOT in chlor pools, winter and summer. Synchronized, racing and Red Cross classes.

The reason it occurs to me is that chlorine made my eyes really red and that’s what happened after I started the iodine! It was quite disturbing, actually, because the red got so intense, I looked like I’d been fitted with “demon possession” contact lenses for a horror movie!

My eyes are back to normal now … just the usual too dry and needing frequent flushing with saline and an occasional comfort treatment with artificial tears. But that’s typical for Sjogren’s Syndrome, which I’ve had for years.

          http://www.sjogrens-guidebook.com/2009/landinge.php?gid=RH011&?a=a&assoc=Google&keyword=Sjogrens

Since I have not changed anything else about my life, if THOSE symptoms start to abate, I think it will be fair to suspect iodine is the “culprit.” I have to tell Mama Buzz about this. She has Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, same as me.

I am not taking much iodine. Not having a doctor, I thought it was better to just stick a big toe in. I got Dulse Extract from Nature’s sunshine

            http://www.healthy-sunshine.com/nspshopping/shopexd.asp?id=646&bc=no

“Each 1 ml serving provides 225 mcg of natural iodine. Take 1 ml, approximately 15-20 drops (1/4 teaspoon) in water once daily.”

            I already had Liquid Chlorophyll

            http://www.healthy-sunshine.com/nspshopping/shopexd.asp?id=441&bc=no

“Liquid Chlorophyll may help improve immune response, deodorize the body, cleanse the blood of impurities and balance pH.”

At the moment, I’m doing an early morning on an empty stomach tonic of 15 drops of Dulse and an equal amount of Chlorophyll in a glass of water.

The first 4 days or so, I experienced very orange, sloppy poo for 4 days or so, then a week or more of absurdly bloodshot eyes. No other discomforts at all, just more energy.

Dr. Brownstien DOES NOT recommend iodine from seaweed sources. It is impossible to determine if it is tainted or not, and hard to monitor the dose. Plus, after Fukashima, it is probably radioactive.
For the iodine protocol, one must use the iodine/iodide combo known as Lugol’s formula. I recently made my own with raw ingredients from a reliable seller on ebay. I got enough to last a couple of years for under $50. I have a how to video on my website.
You use to swim? BINGO! That very well could be the reason for your problems. I was a lifeguard and spent a lot of time in and around chlorine too. If one does not detox, the stuff just stays in the cells. And if you buy any baked goods, they are made with bromiated flour. Baked goods are a huge source of bromine. Gator aid and mt. dew is another culprit. To think they tell athletes and sick kids to drink that stuff!
I have heard Dr. John Apsley speak about his problems swimming in pools. He was on his way to the Olympics until he crashed and burned. Now he spends his life studying water.
I just mailed you some info/samples today. Call me when you get it and we can chat some about the iodine.
Also, I want to put together a powerpoint for the talks I give to women about breast health. Would you be interested in doing some graphics for me?

                • I never cared for Mountain Dew or Gatorade either, thank goodness.

Can someone recommend a water filtration device that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, but that filters out chlorine and fluoride? Our city water contains both and I want to get a filter to remove it, but don’t know what kind to use. When I look online all I find is stuff that costs insane amounts of money that I don’t have. When I look in stores, all I find is filters that remove chlorine but leave the fluoride in. If anyone can help me with this, I would be very grateful.

Thanks for the info on iodine. I definitely want to try this.

                  Bob
The water issue has been one I have spend hours researching. As I mentioned I heard a great lecture by Dr. Apsley about water. He has some great info on his site, but it is really hard to follow. The guy is a genius, and talks way above my head. He is so fascinating.
Anyway, I have a guy blogging for me on my website about distilled water. He has also spent a lot of time on researching, and he believes distilling is the best way to remove toxins.
He started a group and you can ask him any questions you have about water:

Found this about NSP Dulse Liquid: “Dulse, Rhodymenia palmata, is a red seaweed that grows on rocks at the low tide line in the North Atlantic and Northwest Pacific oceans where currents are strong and the bottom is clean.”

But how do you know the stuff is not tainted? Are they testing it to make sure there are no pollutants? Do they guarantee this on the package? If it is food grade, this is not required. The Pacific NW is showing debris from Fukishima along the coast. The nuclear fallout is being registered across North America. I would not trust any seaweed these days. Sushi eaters have high rates of thyroid disease.
The only way to ensure you get the proper iodine is through a measured dose that is pure iodine/iodide which is Lugol’s formula. Eating some seaweed is not going cut it according to Dr. B, and may actually cause more problems in the long run.

PP-I was actually thinking about reinstating my Cub fan club card when old man Ricketts said he was going to spend his money to investigate the Obama/Wright connection.
But hey, that is not allowed in Chicago. Rhambo came out and literally threatened Rickets son, Cubs owner, by telling him don’t expect the city to help out with any improvements at Wrigley.
Unbelievable! Telling a private citizen how to spend his money!
What scums run this city. They don’t give a hard time to the other Chicago billionaires like Oprah (who got to shut down Michigan Ave) or the Pritzkers or Crown family who get to put their name on everything. But of course, THEY are democRATS.
