In case nobody noticed I haven’t posted the last few days.The truth is I’ve been in a rage of levels seldom reached since I’m an incurable cynic.I’ve watched along with everyone while one man has single-handedly undone the effort and money invested in making this contest about jobs,the economy and Obama’s miserable failure.When I can cobble my thoughts into something more than a profanity-laced tirade,I’ll begin posting again.You deserve the best I have and I cannot deliver that at this time.However,I have a cache of great videos that you may or may not have seen.I will post these today and be back when I can.

This is another movie by Steve Bannon, who I am proud to say is also from Richmond and about my age, too, but I did not know him. He went to a Catholic boys military high school so our paths did not cross in those days. I learned a lot from Generation Zero, and not as much from The Undefeated, though I think anyone who had not been paying attention to Palin prior to August of 2008 would have learned plenty. I saw (listened really) the Hannity special tonight while I was cooking and it sounded good.

In 1992 and 1996, Clinton won 43.0% and 49.2% of the popular vote, respectively. In 2008, Obama won 52.9% of the popular vote. I’m sure this explains why Clinton’s “pull” is so important to Obama’s re-election campaign. Or something.

I would watch a youtube video of Pistol Pete’s profanity-laced tirade. My life would be richer for having watched it. Being a cynic is a heavy burden and nobody seems to want to carry for you. And…when you think you are finally taking a turn toward positive, along come a chipper PollyAnna that makes your new bright outlook seem like a masterpiece of gloom! Hang in there. Cynics keep the world grounded and focused.
