Methinks there has been much bribery, blackmail, and intimidation going on lately. As much as I despise such people, I also kinda feel sorry for their souls. God will hold them accountable for every crime that would’ve been prevented if the victim had not had his/her gun rights stolen. I wouldn’t wish eternity in Hell on anyone, but these people … they’re choosing it, and for what? A few more months or years of pampering and power?

I heard it’s already begun here in NY. Somebody accessed a guy’s private medical files and used the fact he’d taken an anti-anxiety medication for a while as a reason to confiscate his guns.

This is the worst thing about obamacare-putting all our health info in a file for anyone to read. I cannot believe how the sheeple are not baaaing about this one. They had a cow when Bush was eavesdropping on terrorists. But of course, if it means taking the guns from all those bitter clingers, then they are all for it.

This kind of crap makes me so crazy. I worked my ass off, slinging hash and putting up with sexual harassment to get myself through college and did it in less than 4 years. Meanwhile, lazy asses like this jerk get a free ride, while us white kids are left to fend for ourselves because we do not qualify. I bet my working class parents even made less than his welfare mama.

My kid had 5 jobs her senior year in college and that was with a huge amount of merit scholarship money.

Working one’s way through college means you appreciate the accomplishment so much more-and you have more brain cells intact because there is little time for all that dope and booze.

I always worked when I was in school — babysitting, housecleaning, washing dishes in the dining hall, doing secretarial work, etc. Everyone worked, with the exception of a few (very few) kids whose parents had tons of money and could afford to cover everything. Everyone worked full time in the summer, some taking both day and night jobs so as to earn more money. I guess kids nowadays are too fragile and delicate to be subjected to such hardships.

People still need babysitters and house cleaners, and dining halls still need dish washers. People need someone to do their yard work and shovel their snow. I think any reasonably motivated and able-bodied college student could figure out a way to get himself/herself employed. Back in the seventies my school had an employment office with a nice lady who kept file boxes full of 3×5 cards that people from town filled out with their names and phone numbers and what they needed done. Any student could go there and get as much work as he/she wanted. If this was possible back in the pre-internet days, just think how much easier it would be now!
