THE TUESDAY GRUDGE

Posted by Pistol Pete

I will no longer waste your time posting stories about the civilized portion of our society being victimized by the savage beasts that roam amongst us.I could do it every day.And its old.And depressing. And inevitable given the social structure prevalent today.

Today’s rant:

Study shows that for the first time ever, black voters outnumbered white voters in 2012.That is credible if you first accept that there were tens of thousands of blacks who voted both absentee and in person, either knowingly committing fraud or not. There were also van loads of people going state to state, precinct to precinct in states without voter ID,since Obama won not a single state that required identification. He spent better than two years organizing this operation because that’s what he does. The other thing to consider is that we had a Massachusetts liberal who was exciting as tepid oatmeal.Even at that, he’d have won if he got as many votes as McShame did.But he didn’t have Sarah Palin on the ticket either. The Arkansas griftress is the presumptive party nominee for 2016,but there won’t be quite the fervor amongst our dark-complected friends because she ain’t one of them.Nonetheless, she will be formidable ,since the press dumped her for the Black Prince and she saved her sorry-ass partner by staying with him.The recurring theme will be another co-presidency,a sort of ‘restore the good times of the ’90’s scenario.’The fact it was due to a GOP House and Senate is not relevant. They will lie,the press will lie and no one can make them pay for it.

Part II:

Rep. Trey Gowdy has been promising some shocking evidence in the Benghazi hearings.Apparently someone is going to testify that assets were available to help stop the attack but were not sent.I applaud Rep. Gowdy for doing the right thing, but this is another exercise in futility. As long as Holder is head of the Gestapo, nothing will ever come near any of those directly responsible.Mullah Kerry has stated that State will not provide lawyers for the whistleblowers and some at State and the CIA say they have been directly threatened.

http://nation.foxnews.com/benghazi-attacks/2013/04/29/obama-admin-threatening-benghazi-whistleblowers

I think Gowdy knows this will come to nothing, but we cannot shrug it off either. We only lose when we surrender.

I HAD SOME REALLY GREAT PICTURES TO POST,BUT WHEN I WENT TO ADD MEDIA,THE ONLY FOLDER THAT DID NOT COME UP IS THE ONE WITH THE PICTURES IN IT.THERE IS A DIFFERENT FORMAT.THE END IS NEAR.SCREW IT.

Posted by CtH, cuz the Grudge Without Pics is just not the same!

I have had the same thoughts. How do these guys keep rockin’?
I heard a doctor explain it like this:
There are about 10 percent of us who seem to get every illness known to man, from birth. These people have weak genes and usually die young.
There are about 10 percent of us who smoke, drink, and abuse their bodies but never get sick and live to be quite old. These people have super genes and are just plain lucky.
Then there is the rest of us.

PP, I hope your photos reappear. It is such a highlight of my day to see what you come up with. I have no idea how you find all this stuff.
    As for your points
about the next election. Sadly, the GOP will probably listen to the same old boys and foist another RINO on us, and we will have Bill and Hill back.
The thought of that just makes my whole heart sink. That will be the final nail in the coffin for this once great experiment for
the mankind to live with the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
It is so sad to even think about.
So I am just going to try not to, and do all I can to help make sure that does not happen.
Never give up. Never give in.

I got this in an email and thought it was worth planting here in the garden:

As I approach my twilight years, I am struck by the inevitability that the party must end. And one clear, cold morning after I’m gone, my spouse will awaken in the warmth of our bedroom and be struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn’t “anymore.”

No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, no more “just one minute.”

Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-bye, or say “I love you.”

So while we have it, its best we love it, care for it, fix it when it’s broken and heal it when it’s sick.

This is true for marriage…..and old cars, and children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and aging parents and grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it.

Some things we keep — like a best friend who moved away or a son-in-law after divorce. There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what.

Life is important, like people we know who are special. And so, we keep them close!

Suppose one morning you never wake up, do all your friends know how you really feel? The important thing is to let every one of your friends know your true feelings, even if you think they don’t love you back.

So, just in case I’m gone tomorrow, please rest assured I voted against that asshole Obama…..both times.

Re posting pics … I had the same thing happen, then finally noticed some button or other that got me to the form that used to come up and clicked on that. Since then, that one has come up as before. I think they must’ve reset the defaults or some damn thing. Poke around, Pete. The button is on that screen. Wish I could tell you exactly where, but it was yesterday and you know how the memory goes at our age. 🙂

Wish you could remember which button,Chrissy.I’m lucky if I remember to put on my pants.Being retired and pretty much housebound,it doesn’t make a lot of difference.

Having been housebound for more than a decade, I know exactly what you mean. I’m really photosensitive, so keep the blinds and curtains closed almost all the time. Occasionally, when it is overcast so the light won’t hurt, I open the blinds and check to see the world is still there and what time of year it is. I also literally keep a piece of paper on my desk that I write the date on every morning because otherwise I can’t remember. The days are so similar. If I didn’t have the garden and my facebook clubs, I’d got bonkers. Before I couldn’t go out at all, I would sometimes get so desperate to see and be seen by another human being that I’d make up a reason to go to the post office cuz the ladies there would say, “Hi, Chrissy. How you doing?” I think God hard-wired a need for others in us. Isolation is intensely painful.

My impression of this situation is that the first hospital made up crap about the parents because the baby needs a pricey operation and they were going to another vendor. I wanted more than anything to know just how good their insurance coverage is.
