Work forces Boehner to postpone retreat with major GOP donors

Yeah, no kidding — and opposition to it has held steady in spite of the aggressive and expensive sales campaign the left has been engaging in from the get-go. It must be just about the least popular piece of legislation ever passed. But whenever anyone is brazen enough to mention to a democrat just how unpopular obamacare is, they always snap back that it’s only unpopular because of all the lies the right has been telling about it. Let’s see…..the democrats want a one-year delay in the medical device tax and the individual mandate until after the 2014 elections. So the GOP gives them exactly what they want then go home and brag to their constituents how they’re fighting the good fight against Obozocare.

I had a friend who told me her dad kissed her once in a way that was totally beyond appropriate and she was never comfortable being alone with him again. This picture reminds me of this.

The Little Sisters of the Poor has filed a lawsuit against the Obama administration and its HHS mandate requiring everybody pay for birth control and abortion drugs.
The Sisters are committed to caring for the elderly poor. Their vows make it impossible for them to comply with the HHS mandate. If the court does not find in their favor, they will face millions of dollars in IRS fines.
They operate homes in 31 countries, where they provide loving care for over 13,000 needy elderly persons. Thirty of these homes are located in the United States.
The donations they collect should be used to care for the poor, not to pay fines to the IRS. Any law that requires a lawsuit to get to that common-sense conclusion should be thrown out, as well as the politicians that passed it.

This is so sad. We have a Little Sisters of the Poor facility a couple of miles from here, and in the past we have worked for them. The nuns were so lovely, and I think there were one or two who had sort of a crush on my husband, in a very sweet way, of course. Can’t say that I blame them!
