7th graders were expected to poll and report on their parents’ political beliefs. Sadly, I find this not merely appalling, but entirely unsurprising in today’s educational environment.

I would not have been happy with that assignment. Don’t know what I would have done, though, so I am so glad that my children are out of K-12. Still got one in grad school, but she is too feisty to put up with something like this.
