Here is my contribution to the race dialogue:

I used to defend my former employer from a lot of the conservative hysteria that would sometimes surround some of their decisions, but this is so beyond the pale. . .just, disgusting.

I still go there. Can’t help it. I like espresso. Just the other week, I was going to the one in Hampton, VA every day. And that’s one that would make this whole race discussion seem pretty silly, since it’s almost a 50-50 race split (black/white) in customers. Funny how they/we all get along just fine.
Of course, I couldn’t afford to go there every day at home. Most days, my espresso comes courtesy of Gruntessa’s kitchen.
Of course, it always changes as the week goes on…
