DEMOCRATS FLOUT THE CONSTITUTION: There was nothing wrong with Trump’s conversation with the president of Ukraine. There is everything wrong with how the Democrat House of Representatives is treating that conversation.
Article II of the Constitution gives the president sweeping power to conduct foreign affairs, negotiate with leaders of other nations, make demands or offer promises. The Constitution does not grant the power of review, approval or disapproval to spies or other unelected officials in the executive branch.
TARGETING TRUMP: The problem isn’t that this was changed. It’s that it was done secretly and specifically to target the current president.
SCHIFF FOR BRAINS: Adam Schiff has repeatedly claimed that he and his staff had no contact with the “whistleblower” before the complaint was filed. This is not true.
NOT A WHISTLEBLOWER: There’s a bunch of things wrong with how the alleged “whistleblower” went about reporting. Showalter explains.
SILENCING CONSERVATIVES: Democrats claim to be all about tolerance [2:53] – The opposite is true.
THE TOLERANT LEFT: They’ve really gone beyond the pale with this one! – The Blue Bowl, a charity flag football event to honor fallen officers, was canceled after a local police chief and a Democratic politician found out there would be … GASP! … Republicans attending.
MEDIA MALPRACTICE: The NBC News headline blared: “3 boys at Christian school where Karen Pence teaches allegedly cut black girl’s dreadlocks.”
Boys. Christian school. Karen Pence. Violence. Racism. ::squintyeyes:: “We just knew they were eeeevil!”
Except it NEVER HAPPENED. The local police department investigated the allegations, including video footage where the alleged attack took place, proved it was all made up, and the girl and her family have since apologized.

Notice the differences? I did several searches using different phrases and found similar results.

My reply – LOL I remember a couple of MAJOR “car seats are NOT NEGOTIABLE” battles with #1 sister! One required a pull over on the side of a highway to reinstall and shriek at said offspring. The second, she had gotten the message about NOT GETTING OUT on her own … but was so pissed, and with Daddy in the car, figured it was time to throw one of her patented, seemingly endless tantrums. (The longest one we ever actually clocked went 45 minutes.)
Anyway, here we are, driving on a limited access highway to New York City, in that place where the mountains were cut through, so it’s all ROCK WALLS on either side, and she’s thrashing around and screaming AS LOUDLY as she can possibly manage.
Daddy says, “What shall we do?” I say, “KEEP DRIVING. Eventually, she’ll figure out she’s getting nothing but a headache and a snotty face out of this and stop.”
I happen to know this is true, because I clearly remember my last ever tantrum … the one that my entire family totally ignored!
The cool thing about sibs is they watch and learn, so the ‘rents often don’t have to fight the same battles over again with each subsequent one. 🙂
