2020

My latest update from the campaign trail.

2020 Shifty vote grab

SCHIFF: In his closing statement, Schiff made up a whole bunch of unlikely scenarios if the Senate fails to remove Trump from office.

Among them, that with more time in the White House, President Trump might “offer Alaska to the Russians in exchange for support in the next election, or decide to move to Mar-a-Lago permanently and let Jared Kushner run the country.”

IOWA: A Total Disaster for the Hapless Democrats [1:09:38] “In this episode, I address the Democrats’ Iowa caucus meltdown on election night. I also address additional stunning connections between the players in the impeachment sham and the collusion hoax.” – Dan Bongino. Link to show notes below.

IOWA: From Thomas Lifson at American Thinker – “Karma is knocking on the door at the Democratic National Committee’s Washington, D.C. headquarters.  The party of the plutocracy masquerading as the savior of the underclass, a coalition of grievance-fueled identity groups not completely comfortable with each other, may finally face the reckoning it so richly deserves.  The only thing that unites eco-fanatics with the blue-collar labor unions, blacks with gays and Jews, or socialists with Wall Street financiers is the quest to harness the power of the state to their own interests. …

“The DNC’s ruling elites fear a wipeout in November if Sanders gets the nod.  The last time the Democrats ran an outright leftist, George McGovern in 1972, they lost 49 states and handed the GOP a 23.2% popular vote margin.  While a generation of indoctrination in the schools and universities has softened the electorate’s resistance to socialist nonsense, Sanders’s brand of leveling is far harsher than McGovern’s, and his track record of embracing hard-line Marxism, including his honeymoon in the USSR, is so blatant that even many progressives — the affluent ones in the suburbs and tony urban neighborhoods — would have second thoughts about supporting him and handing control of Congress to the donkeys so they can institute a wealth tax and open the borders.” – Read the rest at link below.

SCHOOL CHOICE: [43:19] Republicans are for, Democrats are against.

I am a strong proponent of giving a tuition voucher to the parent(s) of every child that is worth the number of tax dollars the government pays for that student’s education. Let the parents decide where to spend the money.

  1. Schiff is just totally beyond the fringe.

Trump’s going to give Alaska back to the Russians. And the Louisiana Purchase back to France. And Manhattan back to the – oops, that tribe is all gone now. Well…

Do you suppose Schiff just sits there late at night, drinking Schnapps and imagining insane power scenarios (like he might do in Trump’s position)?

We’re not only keeping Alaska, but adding Alberta. And Greenland! 😀

Adding Alberta, or Greenland, to the US map, although both have been seriously discussed of late, seems silly to most folks — Somehow things like the nation’s boundaries all seem set in stone nowadays, but I remember back in the last millennium when we proudly went from 48 to 50 stars on Old Glory, and it seemed to me, living in just the 46th-star state, that American growth and destiny was still wide-open. Perhaps it is again.

Conversely, I’ve seen the suggestion that failed states like California and New York should be reverted to territorial status until they can get straightened out. So that would balance out two new stars..

Rage- and coffee-driven ramble over and out.

    • My husband is fond of saying that we could solve a lot of problems by giving California back to Mexico and Manhattan back to the Indians.

I kinda wonder if Schiff is just a compulsive liar or maybe canny enough to realize that, for the low information sheeple on the left, it’s a very short step from “Trump could do this” to “Trump tried to do this.”

After all, they absolutely believed that Tina Fey’s SNL skit (“I can see Russia from my house!”) was something Sarah Palin actually said … maybe because the Slime Stream News Media played it over and over while reporting on the campaign.
