ACADEMIC STANDARDS: Lowering them fulfills the Globalist Elites’ desire to keep poor minorities on their welfare plantations. You can bet the elite private schools their kids attend haven’t lowered their standards.
COVID IMMUNITY: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/whitehousebrief/videos/949003395904588 [6:22] to hear Sen. Rand Paul shred Dr. Anthony Fauci. Sen. Paul has the studies to back up his claims and justify his questions; Dr. Fauci just sneers, rolls his eyes, and sputters a lot.
Fauci’s unsubstantiated claims about the dangers of a variant strain ignore at least one thing I’ve read several times, which is that previous infections with other coronavirus strains appears to confer at least partial immunity from COVID-19. So why wouldn’t immunity from “wild” COVID-19 confer at least partial immunity from a variant?
Also, Paul makes a very valid point that should be shouted from the roof tops. If you want people to get vaccinated AND make vaccine doses go further, then ADVERTISE these two things:
- If you have been vaccinated, you don’t need to wear a mask.
- If you have recovered from COVID-19, you don’t need to get vaccinated or wear a mask.
H-DAY: The Swedes used to drive on the left side of the road, like the Brits. But most of continental Europe drove on the right side. Even worse, most Swedes drove cars designed for right-side driving. These two factors were believed to be behind a sharp rise in traffic accidents as more Swedes bought cars. So the decision was made to switch sides.
Sunday, September 3, 1967 was designated Högertrafikomläggningen (right-hand traffic diversion) or Dagen H (H-Day) when all traffic would switch from left to right. It took a full year to prepare for the massive effort required to move road signs, repaint road markings, relocate bus stops and traffic lights, and redesign intersections, bicycle lanes and one-way streets. At the time, it was the biggest infrastructure project Sweden had ever seen.
On Monday after H-Day, as Swedes took to the right side of the roads for the first time, only 157 minor traffic accidents were reported in the whole country, which was slightly less than average for a typical Monday. Nobody died, which a Swedish historian notes rather disappointed the journalists from the BBC.
HOMEOPATHY: I can’t say as how the American Medical Association invented cancel culture, but they surely did use it aggressively to squash anything they disapproved of! The article linked below is very interesting. Some excerpts:
“In 1855 the AMA established a code of ethics which asserted that orthodox physicians would lose their membership in the A.M.A. if they even consulted with a homeopath.”
“At a time in American medicine when physicians would very rarely, if ever, be reprimanded by fellow physicians, the ethical code on consorting with homeopaths was regularly enforced. One Connecticut physician was expelled from his local medical society for consulting with a homeopath–his wife. … Joseph K. Barnes, the Surgeon General of the United States, was denounced for aiding in the treatment of Secretary of State William Seward on the night he was stabbed and Lincoln was shot, simply because Seward’s personal physician was a homeopath.”
I have read before that the A.M.A. had a similar hate on for chiropractic, something that I experience in the 1980s, but which has somehow disappeared. I asked my chiropractor about it and he said, “Yeah, they send all their pain patients to us now, because they can’t do anything for them.”
NEWSMAX: CLICK https://fb.watch/4jliUzusxa/ [7:58] to see a Newsmax report on its skyrocketing viewership and Bill O’Reilly’s sadly dishonest report. I respected O’Reilly until I read his book about Jesus. He used out-of-date resources and totally ignored the best material.
I also found an MSN report claiming that Newsmax has tanked, but the data presented was very confusing to me. As far as I could figure, they ignored web-based viewership and also compared raw numbers of specific demographics, rather than audience shares, during a period when cable viewership fell across the board.
RUSH LIMBAUGH: Dan Bongino is taking over Rush’s radio slot. “The Dan Bongino Show” is set to launch on May 24, and will air 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET nationwide Monday-Friday.
SAINT OF THE DAY: “St. Joseph was called by God to serve the person and mission of Jesus directly through the exercise of his fatherhood. It is precisely in this way that, as the Church’s Liturgy teaches, he ‘cooperated in the fullness of time in the great mystery of salvation’ and is truly a ‘minister of salvation.‘” — Saint John Paul II’s apostolic exhortation on Saint Joseph, Redemptoris Custos
