About chrissythehyphenated

I'm a 60 something wife, mom and grandmom who is homebound/disabled by severe hypersensitivity to chemicals. I fill my days with learning, loving and art. My favorite values are truth, generosity and gratitude.

Bits & Bytes

CATHOLIC: I just heard this fun thing about Mary, that she’s a Jewish mother who just wants you to meet her Son and spend her time loving on and being all up in the business of the kids in His kingdom. ❤

COOKING WITH LAN LAM: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEtlkePFIGM [6:14]. I’ve been doing this “water first” method, since I first learned it from Lan. It makes wonderful mushrooms. I’ve also tried it with many other veggies. Again, wonderful results. It’s especially good for eggplant which otherwise uses a ton of oil.

WALK AWAY: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUK-36rp8uQ [8:53] to hear a young Black woman who left the Democrat plantation after her landlord moved a trans man into her apartment, because “we can’t discriminate.”

GRAMMY NOTES: I love The Good and the Beautiful home school curriculum the Mascots are using. This is a reading lesson that Bootz did on Wednesday. Art appreciation is built into the lessons throughout.

The text above the painting says,“Read to the child: Look at the painting on this page. Two things that can make a painting look so real are shadow and light. Show me where you see shadows in the painting. Show me where you see light. Do you think it would be fun to visit this place? What do you think is beautiful about this place?”

The child then practices the vowel and consonant sounds for the three letter words below the painting, then circles the objects that appear in the painting. The child then reads the sentences on the facing page and colors in the circle for each one that says something true about the painting.

AUSTIN: It’s been two years since Austin police stopped responding to non-emergency calls because of low officer numbers. Now they include in “non-emergencies” getting mugged. They recently boosted the department’s budget, so they’ve got money to update their logo, but not to put officers on the street to respond to thefts. That’s Democrat “leadership” for you, especially when your ultra-left-wing, soft-on-criminals, hard-on-law-abiding-citizens DA was put in office thanks to mega bucks provided by George Soros.

EVs: A recent study found that 20% of electric vehicle owners are going back to gas fueled vehicles. Reasons cited for defecting include: moving to an area without enough of the right kind of charging stations; needing a gas car for long trips; astronomical repair costs; huge environmental costs in manufacture and disposal of batteries.

FAUXTUS: Right after clipping the Medal of Honor on this Vietnam vet Larry Taylor, Dementia Joe walked out of the ceremony. CLICK https://twitter.com/bennyjohnson/status/1699150370088366537 [:47].

MASKS: A study entitled “An Experimental Study of the Efficacy of Gauze Face Masks” was published in the American Journal of Public Health (NY) in January of 1920. The researchers concluded that masks were not “efficient enough to warrant compulsory application for the checking of epidemics. … This investigation is scientific in character, omitting no one of the necessary factors. It ought to settle the much argued question of masks for the public.”

ABORTION: Fact Check – 10,000 abortions a year are performed in the U.S. after 20 weeks. While this is only 1.3% of all abortions, it is still ten thousand dead babies who were close to or past viability. Polls show that about 70% of Americans believe abortion should be banned at 12 to 15 weeks.

Consider by comparison how outraged abortion supporters get over school shootings. Yet, during the worst year of school shootings in U.S. history, 34 people total died. Not ten thousand. Thirty-four. According to pro-aborts, we should revoke the Second Amendment to deprive law-abiding citizens of the right to bear arms AND add “reproductive rights” (aka, abortion on demand at any time, for any reason) to the Constitution.

EFFING BEE: They absolutely did too save grease and foil … and paper bags and cardboard boxes and used wrapping paper and buttons and worn out clothing and and and. They lived through The Great Depression and never forgot what it was like to want for basics.

GENTLE PARENTING: What do you think the odds are that the two entitled princesses were raised by parents who believed that rules and consequences were “violence”? First, CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/w-4fnK3dH2I for a short one. If you’ve got the patience, CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWbkryYTRV8 [16:21] for a longer one. All the negotiating, deflection, and gaslighting are exactly what you get when the child’s “feelings” are the end all and be all. TRANS: A recently study entitled “Obstetrics and Gynecology: National Estimates of Gender-Affirming Surgery in the US” was published in JAMA OB/GYN. It reported that, from 2016 to 2020, a total of 48,019 patients underwent so-called Gender-Affirming Surgery (GAS).

13 to 40 years old: 21.8%

19 to 30 years old: 52.3%

12 to 18 years old: 7.7%

Breast and chest procedures: 56.6%

Genital reconstruction: 35.1%

Facial and cosmetic procedures: 13.9%.

VAXXX: Breakthrough cases among the vaxxxed started as early as January 2021. During the week ending July 31, 2021, in the 65+ cohort, 73% of the COVID-19 cases and 63% of the COVID-19 hospitalizations were fully vaccinated individuals. The CDC, the FDA and NIH higher-ups, including Anthony Fauci, Francis Collins, Peter Marks, and Janet Woodcock knew this, yet continued to claim the serums were strongly protective against severe disease.

WAKE UP: I know my regular readers are wide awake. But if any of you know someone who is newly unwoke or on the verge of entering that blessed state, encourage them to watch this. GRAMMY NOTES: Mama Buzz had an issue with her credit card and texted that the bank guy “helped me make a list of all our autopsy!” I was all “wuh?” until the next sentence made it clear she’d hit the “s” instead of an “a” for “autopay.” Given that her credit card has been canceled and is now “dead”, I am LOLing.

ASYMPTOMATIC INFECTIVITY: In July 2020, Fauci claimed, “There are a lot of people who are asymptomatic who are spreading infection. … we absolutely should be wearing masks consistently.

His claim was based on poorly designed studies that a new study says got it wrong. Published in the August issue of The Lancet’s Microbe journal, “Viral emissions into the air and environment after SARS-CoV-2 human challenge: a phase 1, open label, first-in-human study“ showed that, prior to experiencing symptoms, people who are infected with the ‘rona do not spread it to others.

CENSORSHIP: Dr. John Littell has regained his Florida board certification which was stripped because he had publicly criticized COVID vaccines. YouTube also frequently removed content from his channel for the same reason.

FAUCI: CLICK https://twitter.com/Liz_Wheeler/status/1698357079885353288 [2:51] to hear Tony “I AM THE SCIENCE” try to insist, “There Is No Doubt That Masks Work.” When a CNN anchor challenges him with the study linked below in “MASKS”, he is forced to admit that the old meme – “If you don’t wear a mask, you’re killing someone’s grandma” – is a Big Fat Lie. Mask mandates are useless for controlling an epidemic.

IVERMECTIN: On Friday, a federal appeals court in New Orleans ruled that the case brought by three doctors against the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over its anti-ivermectin messaging can continue.

FDA is not a physician. It has authority to inform, announce, and apprise—but not to endorse, denounce, or advise. The Doctors have plausibly alleged that FDA’s Posts fell on the wrong side of the line between telling about and telling to. As such, the Doctors can use the APA to assert their ultra vires claims against the Agencies and the Officials.

The lawsuit was initially filed in June 2022 by Dr. Bowden, Drs. Robert L. Apter, and Paul E. Marik for interfering with both their authority to prescribe an approved medication and the doctor-patient relationship. All three alleged their reputations were harmed by the FDA campaign.

KJP: Karine Jean-Pierre never seems to refer to Joe Biden by his name. She always says, “This president.” And then she says stuff … with a straight face … like how he works so hard, etc. It has me wondering if “this president” isn’t Slow Joe, but whoever it is who is actually running the White House while Joe wanders around mumbling, taking naps, and going on endless vacations

MANDATES: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sU9gYY602qg [6:35] to hear JP get you up to speed on how to deal with the next round of mandates.

MASKS: A new, highly sophisticated medical research review concludes, “There is just no evidence that they make any difference. Full stop.” The study, entitled “Physical interventions to interrupt or reduce the spread of respiratory viruses (Review)” looked at 78 international studies about mask use in multiple clinical, public- and private-life settings. Even the tighter N95/P2 respirators make little or no difference in the overall rates of infections in a community.

I’m going out on a limb here and suggest that, if you have an active respiratory infection and you must leave your home for some reason, you’re probably doing the world a favor to cover your own mouth and nose with a mask. Ditto if you have an immune deficiency issue; I have been wearing 3M dust/mist/carbon masks in public since the mid-80s to limit my exposure to chemicals and germs. They’re not perfect, but they definitely do help.

NEW ZEALAND: In the face of public backlash, politicians are trying to rewrite history. Too bad for them that we have the internet. New Zealand’s Prime Minister Chris Hipkins claims, “There was no compulsory vaccination. People made their own choices.” BUT, is it really a choice if the consequence of choosing no is to lose your job?

The government of New Zealand mandated the ‘rona jab for all employees working in education, health care, or businesses where proof of vaccination was required for customers. Said employees had four whole weeks to get their shots and produce proof before being fired. Some employers were permitted to exempt employees from the mandate, meaning employees had no choice.

OREGON: Oregon’s new sex-ed guidelines are pretty insane. Kindergartners are encouraged to question their gender; first graders are expected to recognize and understand the uses for menstrual pads and tampons.

RASMUSSEN: When likely U.S. voters were asked, “Which is more important for America’s national security – getting the migrant crisis at the U.S. border under control, or supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia?”, 60% chose the border vs. 30% chose Ukraine vs. 10% chose Not Sure.

RFK Jr: After a lifetime of proclaiming himself a devout Catholic, Kennedy says he supports legal abortion, but only for the first three months. Not good enough, pal. Not nearly good enough.

TRUMP: I’m MAGA disappointed in Tucker Carlson for saying that Trump is too old to be president.

ABORTION: FAUXTUS’ Department of Health and Human Services is giving $23 million dollars to several organizations, to provide abortions for “youth in foster care, youth in juvenile justice, rural youth, expectant and parenting teens, [and] younger adolescents in middle school” – all young girls in vulnerable situations.

BIDENOMICS: Over the last two months, our economy lost 110k jobs, unemployment rose by .3%, and average hourly earnings rose a meager 8 cents. The average national price for gas is $3.95; four years ago, it was $2.27.

COVID-19: On Thursday, Trump dismissed the “left-wing lunatics [who] are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fearmongering about the new variants that are coming.” I’d love to hear him say, “My biggest mistake first time around was listening to and trusting Tony Fauci. I understand the Swamp now, so that won’t happen again.”

DNA: Twenty years ago, this couple adopted an abandoned newborn boy; a year later, they adopted an abandoned newborn girl. The kids recently had their DNA done and learned they are not just adopted siblings, but also full biological siblings.

Adoptive mom reports that, when her daughter got the DNA results, “She’s screaming her head off, I couldn’t understand a word she was saying. I was like, ‘Were you in a car accident? Are you OK?’ And she goes, ‘Me and Frank are brother and sister!'”

Angela was confused — what on earth was Victoria talking about? This was hardly news. “I said to her, ‘Of course you’re brother and sister. I raised you.'”

“And Vicky says, ‘No, Mom. You don’t understand, we’re biological siblings.”

FLORIDA: “I’ve told all of our personnel at the state level, you protect people’s property, and we are not going to tolerate any looting in the aftermath of a natural disaster,” said DeSantis. “I’ll also just remind potential looters … you never know what you’re walking into. People have a right to defend their property.

KENTUCKY: When this woman attempted to leave her abusive baby daddy, he slapped her around, threatened her with death, then chained her to the floor. While he was gone, she managed to break a window and get a neighbor’s attention with her screams. The suspect is in custody and faces charges of kidnapping, intimidating a participant in the legal process, wanton endangerment, domestic assault, terroristic threatening, and physical harassment.

NEW HAMPSHIRE: Republican New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu is not assisting any effort to keep anyone off the ballot doesn’t expect ballot access will be a problem for the former president. Unfortunately, some of the biggest states with the most electoral votes are deep blue havens for Trump haters. We need to PRAY.

NICARAGUA: According to Wikipedia, dictator Daniel Ortega attended but was never graduated from Central American University in Managua. On August 16, 2023, his government seized all of the university’s property, evicted the Jesuit priests, and renamed it after a Marxist revolutionary.

The United Nations condemned the seizure on X writing in Spanish, “The impact of this measure with the suspension of classes seriously affects the right to education, which is essential for the fulfillment of other human rights.

OREGON: An arsonist is in custody for starting the fire that destroyed the sanctuary at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Salem. The parish serves 3,500.

RAFFENSPERGER: You can always tell what Dems are doing, by what they accuse us of doing. For example, the Wrongs have been claiming that, during a January 2021 between former President Donald Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Trump insisted Raffensperger fabricate enough votes for Trump to win the state.

This week, Raffensperger was subpoenaed by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to testify during a motion hearing. During his testimony, he said that the call in question was about whether or not to pursue another recount of votes. Trump believed he had actually won Georgia and wanted the votes accurately assessed … which is a long way from demanding that Raffensperger do what the Democrats had actually done, which is fabricate enough votes for Biden to win the state.

SANCTUARY: CLICK https://twitter.com/RebsBrannon/status/1697326909913227403 [:29] to hear a formerly woke Democrat spew angry hatred toward illegals in her back yard. “I don’t want them there! Take them someplace else or send them back to Venezuela! I don’t care where they go!

She added, “I am absolutely livid, livid. You all are so hypocritical. I live right across the street from that hotel. Back when they were there in the spring. They would be on our lawn, on our benches. I’m walking around the building; what do I walk upon? Three men urinating on the building.”

TRUMP: A Georgia just has ruled that the kangaroo trial in Fulton County will be viewable to the public and that all parties and spectators are allowed to use recording devices.

TUCKER: The former Fox News host spoke publicly for the first time about his ouster, saying that he’s still not sure why the company kicked him to the curb. He said, “The Murdochs never got in my way. They were always good to me”, but that the network is “not really covering the news anymore.”

USPS: The post office is NOT having a YUGE sale!!! I fell for it :-(““““` My bank charge says “JOURNEBABY.COM” which does not exist … NOT “USPS” like it would if the offer was real. And the address, 1003 Balsam Dr. Durango, COUS, appears to be a house that is for sale. :-(““““`

I forgot all my lessons about avoiding scams … like entering the site via its normal port, not the sale link. The correct web site for USPS is usps.com. The scam ad sends you to uspstamps.com.

If you also fell for this (or something else) and had your card charged … go to https://www.ic3.gov/Home/ComplaintChoice. Fill out the form to report the scammers to the FBI. Also, ask your bank’s fraud person if there is any way to get your money back or report on these jerks. They take this stuff seriously.

Gentle Parenting

WARNING: Chrissy rant ahead.

CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vrcc89cf6W8 to hear a comedian mock “gentle parenting.” This parenting theory isn’t really about spanking vs. not spanking. At its best, it incorporates tried and tested parenting methods. At its worst, it advocates pandering to your kids rather than raising them to be responsible, morally upright adults.

One site claims that “gentle parenting” is different from “traditional parenting” in that it supposedly focuses on “age-appropriate development” rather than “punishment and reward.” Yeah, no. Some of the stuff they cite I learned from my mom (born in 1914) and some is stuff I found worked well with my kids (born in the early 1980s).

  1. Give choices not commands.
  2. Use playfulness to make chores more fun or to diffuse tension.
  3. Invite children to participate in making decisions that affect them.
  4. Forgive when they apologize.
  5. Apologize and ask for forgiveness when you get it wrong.
  6. Label the behavior, not the kid.

I also really like giving kids permission to say “No, thank you” to somebody who wants to get into their personal space. I remember being pawed by a drunken friend of my parents at a party, but when I complained, my mother snarled at me about how important it was that I not embarrass them in front of their friends. So not cool.

But really … imo, some of this “gentle parenting” stuff is just whacked out. For example, not requiring kids to say “please” and “thank you.” Oh, come on! Manners grease the wheels of society. They need to be taught early and often.

The fact that “gentle parenting” was first proposed in the late 1980s suggests it has had a lot to do with the absurd behaviors we’ve seen on college campuses in recent years. Take this rule for example: “Allow feelings to run their course. Rather than saying “shoosh”, or yelling “stop!”, parents actively listen to crying. They may say, “you have a lot of/strong feelings about [situation].” Yeah, maybe … in some circumstances. Just be careful not to teach your kids that they can use tantrums to get what they want when they want it.

I remember the Big Car Seat Battle we had with Mama Buzz. She had tried to unbuckle on an earlier trip, so I had pulled over, gotten out to put her back, and informed her that staying buckled was not negotiable. The next time, Daddy was driving, so she tried to push his buttons. I was there, so she didn’t get out of her car seat, but she did scream at the top of her lungs and thrash around for a long, long time. Dearest said, “What should we do?” I told him, “Keep. On. Driving.” Eventually, she realized that she was not getting any attention, but she was getting a nasty headache and stopped. We never had any car seat battles with #2 and #3, because it was obvious from #1’s behavior that kids got buckled and stayed buckled. Period.

Another “gentle parenting” theory that strikes me as blatantly absurd is that is no such thing as bad behavior. “There are only unmet needs.” That’s just … no.

Even worse, “gentle parenting” equates even the suggestion of a negative consequence with actual violence. Warning a kid, “If you continue to do this, then that will happen” is violence, even when “that” is something as benign as a time out or appropriate as a loss of a privilege.

One site says that when some behavior is hurting someone else, you say things like, “Pulling the dog’s tail hurts him. I will not allow you to do that.” Then it goes on to explain that this involves “guiding instead of controlling, connecting instead of punishing, encouraging instead of demanding. It’s about listening, understanding, responding, and communicating.” That may work well with kids who have very compliant personalities. Mine were all very strong-willed. They would’ve steamrollered us if we hadn’t had a “that’s enough talk, now you do what you’re told” rule.

Another site talks about setting clear expectations. E.g., “If bedtime is always at 8 p.m., try not to deviate from that. If you put your foot down on a decision, stand your ground.” But there is no explanation for what constitutes putting your foot down. I’ve seen so many episodes of Supernanny where a very strong-willed kid has been allowed to run roughshod over the entire household, making parents and siblings miserable. Supernanny’s methods work, but so far as I can tell, they are not approved of by the GP gurus.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) suggests the key to this parenting approach is teaching, not punishing. Well yes and no. I’m all for teaching. It’s the way I was raised, it’s the way I raised my girls, and it’s what Supernanny advocates. I totally agree that when a kid does not understand what the boundaries are, then they don’t deserve a negative consequence for crossing them. However, when you’ve explained the rules and the reasons for the rules and the consequences for breaking the rules, and you’ve even given them a “next time” warning, then by golly, that consequence had better come immediately after the first repetition.

But I was told by a “Gentle Parent” that even having rules is violence. According to him, my telling my girls, “If you don’t stop hitting each other, I’m going to turn off this movie and return it”, was an act of violence. Furthermore, when they continued and I stopped the video and returned it to the rental store*, that was another act of violence.

*I think they thought I’d want to see the end of Titanic too much to actually follow through on my threat. However, being a good parent was much more important to me than seeing a movie. Plus, I knew how it would end. The boat sank.

I asked him if he believed in sin or in raising his kids to become mature, functioning members of society. He ignored both questions and proceeded to explain how I should have gotten down on the floor with them, found out what unmet needs they were expressing by poking, slapping and kicking each other, then done everything in my power to meet those unmet needs, so that they would choose to stop their undesirable behavior.

It’s amazing how good my kids turned out. His, meanwhile, aren’t even teen-agers yet.

Cult Watch: C3 Church Global

Formerly known as Christian City Church International, C3 is a progressive denomination that promotes the prosperity gospel. The conglomerate boasts more than 500 churches in 64 countries. The original founder, Phil Pringle, started out as a garbage collector. Like LRH, he discovered that religion is more lucrative than trash. He now enjoys yachting (photo), owns a luxury car, and lives in a palatial clifftop mansion valued at $4 million.

The C3 message of salvation leans heavily on donating to the church. A minimum of 10% pre-tax is expected, even if you’re in debt. “Go make millions and give it to the House of God … Amen!” Phil Pringle preaches at one conference, recorded and published online. Another C3 leader preaches, “God is brilliant with ledgers. God is the most perfect accountant, he knows everything you give and he makes sure it comes back to you with interest.”

I could find zero mention of the need for repentance, confession, or conversion in the church’s statements of belief. “We believe that faith alone in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord frees us from sin, and its consequences of death and eternal separation.” However, there is repeated emphasis on working out your own salvation by participating in a specific church. While I don’t disagree with that … I too believe we are called to actively participate in a specific faith community, this church’s emphasis combined with the pressure to tithe is very problematic. E.g., a former member reports, “They call it a free will gift or free will giving, that simply isn’t true. You’re brainwashed into giving this kind of money. There were nights in our house when my children did not have food. And I never got any assistance whatsoever from anybody.”

Leaked internal documents from another C3 pastor reveals what Pastor Sam Picken of C3 Church in Toronto expects from his staff. First and foremost, they need to understand that they are not there to serve God. They are there to serve Sam Picken.

I watched part of a sermon by a guest C3 pastor from Fort Worth. He spent an inordinate amount of time fan-boying Sam, including how awesome he looks in Crocs. It reminded me a whole lot of Tom Cruz’ embarrassing worship of David Miscavige, so I turned it off.

Also, about “Jess. No one is more important. If you make her life hard, you make my life hard. Therefore making your life hard.”

Instagram writer “C3churchwatch” writes about the Toronto User Manual, “This is a great document for show as this is some of the real expectation for staff and leaders at many C3 churches, but Sam doesn’t bother coating his words in bullshit like other pastors do. When you attend or work for C3, you follow random dudes and their fragile/egotistical whims, nothing more. You get promoted by how many people you bring in who give them money. I found it funny that being likeable is a factor in how you move up given how entire Toronto communities *really* don’t like Sam. I wonder what spurred this document. Sounds like he’s lost control of something. Can’t imagine why 👀 #toronto needs to pass on this place and let it die. The wounds of former members are too deep here. #c3toronto

Both were unanimously acquitted by a Finnish District Court in 2022, then prosecutors appealed their acquittal to the Helsinki Court of Appeal. The two, who are being represented by the Alliance Defending Freedom International (ADF), face tens of thousands of Euros in fines and possibly two years in prison if they are found guilty. The study was designed to compare long-term protection from symptomatic breakthrough infection conferred by 2 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech BNT162b2 vaccine (Group 1 = 16, 215 individuals) vs. long-term protection from symptomatic reinfection conferred by naturally-acquired immunity (Group 2 = 46,035 individuals who were never vaccinated).

Participants were all 16 or older and had either had two doses or had recovered from a documented SARS-CoV-2 infection by February 28, 2021. The groups were matched as closely as possible for age, gender, and comorbidities.

At the completion of the study, no one in either group had died from COVID-19. Among the 62,250 individuals in the study, 748 caught SARS-CoV-2; 640 from Group 1 vs. 108 from Group 2. Eight of the Group 1 cases needed hospitalizations vs. none of the Group 2 cases. After adjusting for comorbidities, researchers calculated that the vaccinated group were about 6 times more likely than the naturally immune to get sick.

The Great Blessings

In The Secret of the Rosary (p. 65), St. Louis De Montfort states: “The Rosary recited with meditation on the mysteries brings about the following marvelous results:

1. It gradually gives us a perfect knowledge of Jesus Christ;

2. It purifies our souls, washing away sin;

3. It gives us victory over all our enemies;

4. It makes it easy for us to practice virtue;

5. It sets us on fire with love of Our Blessed Lord;

6. It enriches us with graces and merits;

7. It supplies us with what is needed to pay all our debts to God and to our fellow men;

8. It obtains all kinds of graces for us from Almighty God.”

On page 12 of his great work, St. Louis De Montfort wrote, “If you say the Rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that, in spite of the gravity of your sins you shall receive a never fading crown of glory. Even if you are on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in Hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil as sorcerers do who practise black magic, and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a devil, sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and save your soul, if — and mark well what I say — if you say the Holy Rosary devoutly every day until death for the purpose of knowing the truth and obtaining contrition and pardon for your sins.”

The “irresistible novena” originated when Fortuna Agrelli, a girl of Naples, had suffered intense pain for 13 months. On February 16, 1884, she and her relatives began a novena of Rosaries for her recovery. Sitting on a high throne with the Infant Jesus on her lap, the Blessed Mother appeared to Fortuna on March 3. She held a Rosary in her hand and was accompanied by St. Dominic and St. Catherine of Siena.

Fortuna petitioned Our Lady, “Queen of the Holy Rosary, be gracious to me, restore me to health.” The Blessed Virgin replied, “You have invoked me by various titles and have always obtained favors from me. Now, since you have called me by the title so pleasing to me, ‘Queen of the Holy Rosary,’ I can no longer refuse the favor that you petition; for this name is most precious and dear to me. Make three novenas, and you will obtain all.”

After Fortuna was cured, Our Lady appeared again. This time she said, “Whosoever desires to obtain favors from me should make three novenas of the prayers of the Rosary in petition and three novenas in thanksgiving.”

N.b., That works out to 27 rosaries in petition followed by 27 more in thanksgiving.

Bits & Bytes

CALIFORNICATION: Attorney General Rob Bonta is targeting state public school districts that have adopted parental rights policies. Multiple school districts in the area surrounding Sacramento have said they will stand firm in upholding parental rights.

CATHOLIC: On Wednesday, sexual assault charges against former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick (now 93) were officially dropped after a judge ruled he was not competent to stand trial. I hope and pray his victims will find comfort in knowing this horrible excuse for a human being will face eternal judgment very soon.

HITLER: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/Brucemindfixtv/posts/3596005307386789/ [3:12] to see Der Fuehrer with his top advisors discuss how to stop Trump.

KEITH OLBERMANN: This miserable failure tried to gain himself a moment of relevance by tweeting that Riley Gaines “sucked at swimming.” So she gave him a virtual tour of her trophies @ https://twitter.com/Riley_Gaines_/status/1697327703592951943. LOL!

His Delusional Ugliness replied, “Happily for nasty, stupid, unsuccessful transphobe @Riley_Gaines_ she has no reputation to ruin.” She responded, “Ah, makes sense now why you got fired from ESPN.

He also got canned by ESPN2, Current TV, and MSNBC (twice). HuffPost reports that “many of Olbermann’s previous jobs have [ended] with deep acrimony on both sides.” From what I read, a number of them were also followed by him filing a lawsuit.

KJP: Joe Biden has spent nearly 40% of his presidency on vacation, including nearly 75% of this August. Recent polling found that 77% of Americans, including 89% of Republicans and 69% of Democrats, believe he is too old to be effective for a second term.

When asked about her boss’ stamina, Karine Jean-Pierre hilariously claimed, with a straight face, “It is hard for us to keep up with this president, who is constantly, constantly working every day to get things done, and making sure that we’re delivering for the American people.”

MAINE: Two years ago, the nurses and other health care workers formerly known as heroes were fired by many hospitals for refusing the Fauci Ouchi. MaineGeneral Health, one of Maine’s largest health care providers, is now begging them to return to work, claiming they “had to comply with a state mandate for COVID-19 vaccination.

Former employees are understandably livid that this organization went above and beyond the state’s mandate. They moved the jab deadline up to mid-September from the state’s mandated end of October, denied all religious exemptions, and charged vaxxx deniers with misconduct so they were denied unemployment benefits.

MILITARY: Service members were forced to receive ‘rona jabs during 2021 and most of 2022. The Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) shows that, during 2021 as compared with the average for 2016 through 2020, there were the following dramatic increases –

147% = intentional self-harm incidents

130.5% = myocarditis diagnoses

82% = injuries from assaults

41.2% = pulmonary embolisms (blood clots in the lungs)

38.2% = ovarian dysfunction

37.7% = complications and ill-defined descriptions of heart disease

DMED is a depository of all diagnoses—recorded using International Classification of Diseases (ICD) codes—when an active service member is seen on or off base by a military or civilian provider. The database doesn’t include any personally identifiable information of service members.

NEBRASKA: Governor Jim Pillen signed an Executive Order establishing the Women’s Bill of Rights. Gov. Pillen is the second U.S. governor to sign such an order, declaring that a person’s biological sex is defined at birth. This executive order goes into effect immediately.

OKLAHOMA: Western Heights Public School District is defending its decision to hire Dr. Shane Brent Murnan (52) as principal at John Glenn Elementary.

Shane Murnan is a drag queen who performs for children and reads books about gender to kids while dressed in drag. Shane has also been arrested for having child porn images, charges which were dropped because the prosecution couldn’t prove the kids in the photos were underage. Murnan has also won Miss Gay Oklahoma America and Miss Gay Oklahoma USA.

Brayden Savage, superintendent of Western Heights Public Schools, told parents to chill … then deleted his/her X account. Oklahoma’s State Superintendent has released a statement saying they are looking into the situation.

VIRGINIA: Cornerstone Christian Academy (CCA) in Loudoun County, VA, promises to support parents and families, which are the primary educators. The new school has only been open for a week, yet already has over 500 students. Their curriculum is “classically-influenced, and founded upon and permeated by the Word of God.”

Loudoun County Public Schools have frequently been in the news over the past few years for their aggressively woke policies that led them to cover up the rape of a 15-year-old female student in the girls’ bathroom by a male student who wore a skirt. The girl’s parents were assured the boy was wearing an ankle monitor and was under house arrest, but the truth was they had merely moved him to another school, where he assaulted another girl.

VAXXX: The Epoch Times has found 26 death certificates across five states on which the ‘rona jab is listed as the cause of death.
