It’s pathetic.” What’s pathetic is that y’all are so sure you understand us and so wrong about what makes us tick that you can’t begin to accurately predict how we’ll react to anything.

The left’s overzealous political prosecutions have backfired and turned Donald Trump into a force of nature. Now, Trump represents someone persecuted by the man and he represents the forgotten man. Democrats thought the mugshot was going to be the end for Trump, but it may be the start of a new beginning.” – Jesse Waters

BORDER: US officials have welded open 114 massive gates along the Arizona border to allow endangered antelope to migrate and monsoon water to flow freely. It’s also allowing an average of 1,400 migrants to migrate freely into the country every day.

CLOWN MEDIA: Not that we needed any more proof that the legacy media is nothing more than an undeclared PR arm of the Democratic Party.

ENABLING PREDATORS: Half of the “trans” men who have transferred into female prisons in Wisconsin are convicted sex offenders.

GEORGIA: Just days after receiving an inquiry regarding two pornographic books in their school libraries, the Cobb County school district thanked the writer and sent an email to parents and staff notifying them that the books had been removed. A check of the libraries showed they have been removed.

INDIA: India just landed a lunar rover near the south pole of the moon. It is only the third nation to achieve this and the people of India are very proud, as they should be.

KANSAS: CLICK https://twitter.com/TexasLindsay_/status/1694112328403308967 [1:36] to see disturbing footage of a bizarre police raid on an elderly newspaper owner’s home in a small Kansas city. She died the next day.

Joan Meyer co-owned the Marion County Record with her son Eric. On the basis of a flimsily prepared warrant that was likely in violation of federal law, the city’s entire five-officer police force, plus two sheriff’s deputies, raided the newspaper’s office, as well as the homes of both Eric and Joan.

The raid was apparently in response to a claim that the weekly paper had illegally obtained DUI information about a local business owner. The judge who signed off on the warrant has two DUIs.

The county’s top prosecutor has since withdrawn the search warrants and asked authorities to return everything they took. The paper is considering whether or not to sue.

LIFE: Jen Psaki’s tweet and a whole host of “what she said” tweets were in response to a statement Ron DeSantis made during the first GOP primary debate. “What the Democrats are trying to do on this issue is wrong, to allow abortion all the way up to the moment of birth.”

In response to Jen Psaki’s lie, the DeSantis War Room compiled the following five minutes of Democrats specifically supporting abortion at any time @ https://twitter.com/DeSantisWarRoom/status/1694714509892649412 [5:04].

CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/AEW938ZCcKw to hear a leftie say, “Even if abortion is murder, there’s still nothing wrong with it.”

Not The Bee staff wrote, “This should be Republicans’ number one talking point on the issue leading up to 2024. They must corner Democrats on this issue and make them speak with precise terms. Try the question out on your Democrat friends, too. Ask them if they support abortion up until birth, and if not, when is their cutoff. Oh, and why then?

MARYLAND: A District Court judge denied Montgomery County Public School parents the right to opt their pre-K through fifth grade children out of pro-LGBTQ lessons. The judge wrote that the fact that “teachers will occasionally read one of the handful of books, lead discussions and ask questions about the characters, and respond to questions and comments in ways that encourage tolerance for different views and lifestyles … is not indoctrination” and therefore does not violate parents’ rights. I guess that depends on how you feel about encouraging tolerance for sin.

TRUMP: Former President Donald Trump surrendered himself to authorities at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia, on Aug. 24, and was released on a $200,000 bond after being booked. He followed up by tweeting the mug shot with a defiant message (above).

TUCKER: The Legacy Media breathlessly reported that the FOX News Republican Primary Debate “drew a staggering 12.8 million total viewers,” making it the “most-watched non-sporting event cable telecast of the year.”

As we have heard before, Tucker Carlson tweeted his 45 minute interview with Donald Trump at the same time as the FOX debate. Nobody will be watching the Tucker/Trump interview.”

In the first 4 hours, it has 100 million views. Not The Bee notes, “Even if a third of those views are from spam/bot accounts or people who only tuned in for a quick minute, that is a number that is wild beyond belief.

As I write this at 11:43 am on August 25, it’s at 254.7 million views. The previous record holder for most watched interview of all time was Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Michael Jackson in 1993, which reached 62.3 million views.

2024: At Fox News’ GOP Presidential Primary Debate, five of the eight candidates indicated they would vote for Trump if he were to be convicted – i.e., Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, Doug Burgum, Tim Scott, and Ron DeSantis. The three who did not were Chris Christie, Asa Hutchinson, and Mike Pence.

CLICK https://www.dailysignal.com/2023/08/24/takeaways-first-2024-republican-primary-debate/ for a summary of other key takeaways from the debate.

COVID-19: The CDC says the new BA.2.86 variant is different enough from previous variants that it may cause breakthrough infections in the vaccinated and the naturally immune. The variant, which has been found in Israel, the UK, South Africa, and Denmark, has only just reached the United States and that it is not responsible for the recently slight increase in hospitalizations here.

FLEEING: Over the past several years, banks and big tech firms have fled high-tax, high-regulation Democrat states. According to a new analysis, California and New York have nearly $1 trillion apiece in managed assets, including thousands of high-paying jobs. In addition to sapping the tax revenue Dems rely on, the exodus has created a glut of empty commercial properties.

SOUTH CAROLINA: The state’s Supreme Court has upheld the Fetal Heartbeat and Protection from Abortion Act, which bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. In a 4-1 decision, the court said South Carolina’s constitutional protection against “unreasonable invasions of privacy” does not include abortion and that the state law was “within the zone of reasonable policy decisions rationally related to the State’s interest in protecting the unborn.”

TRUMP: While the other GOP presidential wannabes debated on Fox News, Tucker Carlson streamed his recent interview with Donald Trump, who blasted the indictments against him, calling them “ridiculous,” “nonsense” and “[expletive],” adding that “maybe there’ll be more.”

I don’t have any Eucharist today, so while Father was distributing, I closed my eyes and imagined myself in God’s lap, apologized for my sinful thoughts. He was so sweet, clearly forgiving me. Then I asked if He’d fix my stupid hypercritical brain and … ::crickets:: For a moment, I was so sad … but then, the music lady began singing “On Eagle’s Wings” and the line, “Make you to shine like the sun” hit me as His answer. CATHOLIC: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdFb2Rzg2qI [7:42] to hear Fr. Columba share “Miraculous Stories about Holy Water & Salt.” In the photo above, a priest is making a big batch of holy water in a special stainless steel tank. It’s got a spout on the bottom for dispensing it. It’s easy for Catholics to fill up their home bottles whenever they want. For salt, we just buy salt and ask our priest to bless it, but I have also seen it for sale in Catholic stores and even at Amazon.

I bless myself at least twice a day with holy water and splash my bed at night while saying the St. Michael Prayer. As for holy salt, we used to just use it to bless the house and such, but then I heard one of the exorcists say, “Eat it!” So we do.

I don’t have any pertinent miracle stories, but I remember one I heard. A priest was on a plane with a really obnoxious seat mate. When the fellow went to use the toilet, the priest sprinkled blessed salt on his seat and prayed to bind any demons. As soon as the guy came back and sat down, he jumped up and demanded the flight attendant move him to a different seat. 🙂

FINLAND: This nation purports to respect the religious rights of its citizens. So why is it persecuting two Christians for believing in the Bible? The story at the link is appalling, but I’m guessing this kind of thing will become more and more common until all of us are finally driven underground … either through martyrdom or to hide. I really hope and pray the Rapture is a real thing and will happen before the worst comes.

GENDER: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abTMFKoytMo [5:21] to hear a psychiatrist with 45 years experience totally debunk the Left’s “gender affirming care” position. Dr. Grossman is board certified in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. Her medical practice focuses on gender-distressed young people and their parents. She believes that every child is born in the right body. She has testified in Congress and lectured at the British House of Lords and the United Nations.

HAWAII: Remember all the fuss Dems made about President Bush finishing up reading The Pet Goat to kindergartners before leaving for his first briefing on 9/11? Never mind that disappointing and/or scaring little children to leave for a briefing five minutes sooner would have zero impact on any response.

And remember the stupid brouhaha they made about how he only flew over the Hurricane Katrina devastation? Never mind that it would have interfered with emergency workers on the ground, plus been a security nightmare to try to get him there any sooner than when he did go … which he did eight times … along with signing a $10.4 billion aid package and ordering 7,200 National Guard troops to the region.

Let’s compare that to Empathy Joe’s response to the Maui fires.

August 8 and 9: While the fires were raging, Joe lounged on the beach.

August 9 and 10: He flew to Utah to schmooze with Democratic leaders, raise money, brag about his accomplishments, and badmouth MAGA Republicans. While describing how vile those latter are, “the president’s tone unmistakably carried a sense of sorrow.

August 10: He signed a disaster declaration.

August 14: When asked in person, he had “No comment.” (See graphic above.) Whoever manages his Twitter account put this out: “We’re laser-focused on getting aid to survivors, including Critical Needs Assistance: a one-time $700 payment per household offering relief during an unimaginably difficult time. We have staff on the ground dedicated to helping survivors navigate the registration process.

August 15: He flew to Milwaukee to brag about how Bidenomics is growing our economy. During his speech, he talked about the fires and what he’s done to help, ending with our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Hawaii.  But not just our prayers.  Every asset — every asset they need will be there for them. And we be — we’ll be there in Maui as long as it takes.  As long as it takes.  And I meant that sincerely.“

August 18: After hosting a summit at Camp David with the leaders of South Korea and Japan, Joe and Jill flew to Lake Tahoe to spend a week at the home of billionaire climate activist and Democrat donor, Tom Steyer, who made a bid for the Dem nomination in 2020.

August 21: Joe and Jill interrupted their Tahoe vacay to spend 5 hours in Maui. The delay bothered nobody, since everybody knows that a president should stay out of a disaster area while emergency work is still going on … unless you’re a Republican president, in which case boo hiss.

While speaking to a room full of Lahaina residents who have lost everything they owned, he said he could empathize with their losses, because “I almost lost my wife, my ’67 Corvette, and my cat” in a 2004 house fire. The local fire chief report says it was a small kitchen fire that was under control in 20 minutes.

NEBRASKA: In the year since Dobbs overturned Roe, reporting on abortion issues has become less and less accurate. Currently, media outlets are reporting that a 17-year-old was sentenced to jail for obtaining a late-term abortion. The facts are just a wee bit different.

Both the girl and her mother were charged with one felony each for removing, concealing, or abandoning a body and with two misdemeanors each for concealing the death of another person and for false reporting to police. Despite having pleaded guilty to a felony, the girl was sentenced to just 90 days and will be out in 50 if she behaves herself.

The story is grotesque. At first, the girl and her mother told police she had miscarried and that they buried to child’s body on farmland belonging to a family friend. Later, it came out that the mother had gotten abortion pills online and, after the birth, placed the 29-week-old fetus in a garbage bag and buried it, then dug it up and buried it somewhere else. Then, they dug it up again and tried to burn it, which didn’t work, so they buried it a third time.

Police said it wasn’t clear if the baby had actually been born dead or if it had suffocated in the garbage bag. In addition to showing an appalling disregard for the life and remains of her grandchild, the mother also put her daughter’s life in danger. The abortion pills she bought online are only meant for ending pregnancies that are less than 10 weeks along. Due to the dangers of taking the drug without the supervision of a physician, a recent court decision has barred online sales.

Ivermectin Update

Earlier this month, an FDA lawyer was forced to admit, under oath, that doctors have a right to prescribe ivermectin for anything they want, because (unlike the ‘rona jabs) the drug was fully approved for use in humans. And it’s been in use, worldwide, since 1986.

The FDA’s admission revived the discussion about using ivermectin for COVID-19. On August 11, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said, “The doctors I’ve been dealing with and talking to for years now, they believe that probably hundreds of thousands of Americans lost their lives because they were denied early treatment and they were denied because the FDA sabotaged, for example, ivermectin. We are going down a very dangerous path, but it’s a path that is being laid out and planned by an elite group of people that want to take total control over our lives, and that’s what they’re doing bit by bit.”

Not surprisingly, on August 17, the FDA reiterated its sniffy disapproval of anyone using ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID-19. The Legacy Media promptly repeated their spin that it is not approved, because they haven’t done enough studies to establish its efficacy and safety … so not at all like the experimental COVID-19 vaxxxines that were rushed into worldwide use based on the carefully hidden results of rushed clinical trials.

Officially, the FDA has approved ivermectin only to treat a few specific parasitic infections, including strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis. It proved so inexpensive, safe and effective that doctors around the world have prescribed it for a much wider range of parasitic infections than the ones officially approved. And, as its safety became clear, researchers looked into how it works and what else it might be useful in treating. Below I discuss this wide range of non-parasitic ailments. Obviously, these uses are just as off-label as COVID-19, yet the FDA doesn’t demonize any of them. In fact, as you can see in the screenshot above, the CDC recommends its off-label use for scabies.

In February 2017, an article entitled “Ivermectin: enigmatic multifaceted ‘wonder’ drug continues to surprise and exceed expectations” appeared in the Journal of Antibiotics that stated it is “offering more and more promise to help improve global public health by treating a diverse range of diseases, with its unexpected potential as an antibacterial, antiviral and anti-cancer agent being particularly extraordinary. … For most of this century, some 250 million people have been taking it annually … [some] for over 30 years. … re-purposing it to control a completely new range of diseases … is generating interest and excitement in the scientific and global health research communities. … Several problematic reactions have been recorded, but they are generally mild and usually do not necessitate discontinuation of the drug. There is a continuously accumulating body of evidence that ivermectin …. has been shown to exhibit both anti-cancer and anti-cancer stem cell properties.” This article is quite long and includes numerous links to various studies involving ivermectin. Below, I will look at some of these in more detail.

In June 2011, a paper entitled “Anti-inflammatory effects of ivermectin in mouse model of allergic asthma” demonstrated that ivermectin may be “an effective suppressor of inflammation and may be efficacious in the treatment of non-infectious airway inflammatory diseases such as allergic asthma.”

In April 2012, a paper entitled “Ivermectin is a potent inhibitor of flavivirus replication specifically targeting NS3 helicase activity: new prospects for an old drug” reported that ivermectin is “a highly potent inhibitor” of Yellow Fever Virus (YFV). “Moreover, ivermectin inhibited, although less efficiently, the replication of several other flaviviruses, i.e. dengue fever, Japanese encephalitis and tick-borne encephalitis viruses. Ivermectin exerts its effect at a timepoint that coincides with the onset of intracellular viral RNA synthesis.” < I’m no scientist, but that last bit sure sounds like it could kick the ’rona’s viral butt, yeah?

In June 2012, a paper entitled “Ivermectin binding sites in human and invertebrate Cys-loop receptors” reported that ivermectin shows great potential for treating a wide variety of human neurological disorders such as ALS.

In October 2012, a paper entitled “Ivermectin inhibits growth of Chlamydia trachomatis in epithelial cells” demonstrated that ivermectin showed promise for the treatment of sexually-transmitted or ocular infections by Chlamydia.

In July 2016, a paper entitled “The efficacy, safety, and tolerability of ivermectin compared with current topical treatments for the inflammatory lesions of rosacea: a network meta-analysis” reported that a 1% ivermectin cream was the most effective topical treatment for rosacea currently available, “with at least an equivalent safety and tolerability profile.”

In March of 2016, the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD) published a study entitled “Over 25 Years of Clinical Experience With Ivermectin: An Overview of Safety for an Increasing Number of Indications.” The abstract includes, “For over 25 years, ivermectin has been used to treat parasitic infections in mammals, with a good safety profile. … Numerous studies report low rates of adverse events. … Ivermectin has been used off-label to treat … high margin of safety for a growing number of indications based on its anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory activities.” [Edited only for clarity]

The current page about ivermectin @ Drugs.com says, “The antiviral activity of Ivermectin has been shown against a wide range of RNA and DNA viruses, for example, dengue, Zika, yellow fever, and others.” Wait, wut? Viruses? Like maybe COVID?

Also, “There is currently insufficient evidence from the COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel to recommend either for or against the use of ivermectin in Covid-19 patients for the treatment of severe or mild COVID-19 symptoms.” IOW, it’s safe, it’s cheap, and a whole lot of doctors say it has helped their patients … but don’t you dare use that horse medicine! Riiiiight.

So, about that horse medicine thing. Yes, ivermectin is commonly used by veterinarians to treat parasite infections in mammals. The big problem I see with the FDA and whoever else is behind demonizing ivermectin for the ‘rona is that ivermectin is available by prescription only for humans. And while it is widely used for other off-label purposes, some states banned pharmacies from dispensing it for COVID and a few hospitals fired doctors for prescribing it. I remember at least one hospital that chose to ignore a court order rather than allow a dying patient to try it.

Meanwhile, the slime media hypes the dangers of the ‘rona way beyond what is real. Some polls showed people believing that anywhere from 5% to 50% of people who catch the virus die from it. The real number is somewhere between 0.15% and 2.1%, but it varies hugely depending on which variant you’re looking at (the original Wuhan was the worst, but it’s extinct now), the age of the patients (the virus is far more lethal to senior citizens) and what comorbidities they have (all of the minors who have died of COVID had serious comorbidities).

Anyway, my point is that the constant fearmongering by the media left some people so frightened that they went to their farm stores and bought OTC ivermectin meant for large animals. Some of them got sick, because the doses are way too high for humans. E.g., depending on the sex and breed, cows can weigh anywhere from 800 lbs. to 3,500 lbs. I’m really sorry that happened, but really … whose fault is it that they were deprived of the right to try and scared out of their wits?!

And, let us not forget that it is common for doctors to prescribe drugs “off-label” – i.e., for purposes that the FDA has not specifically approved. You know those hormones and puberty blockers the Lefties are so fond of? They are not approved for treating gender dysphoria in minors. Meanwhile, studies have shown ivermectin to be effective for COVID.

In June 2020, a study entitled “The FDA-approved drug ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro” reported that ivermectin, which has been “shown to have broad-spectrum anti-viral activity in vitro, is an inhibitor of the causative virus (SARS-CoV-2) … [and] therefore warrants further investigation for possible benefits in humans.”

In December 2020, a study entitled “A five-day course of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19 may reduce the duration of illness” reported that “a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial” involving 72 hospitalized patients in Bangladesh found that 12 mg of ivermectin taken once daily for 5 days reduced the course of the disease from 9.7 days as compared with 12.7 days for the placebo group. “There were no severe adverse drug events recorded in the study. A 5-day course of ivermectin was found to be safe and effective in treating adult patients with mild COVID-19. Larger trials will be needed to confirm these preliminary findings.”

In January 2021, a study entitled “Use of Ivermectin Is Associated With Lower Mortality in Hospitalized Patients With Coronavirus Disease 2019: The Ivermectin in COVID Nineteen Study” looked at 280 ‘rona patients, 173 who were treated with ivermectin and 107 who were not. Most patients in both groups also received hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, or both. Mortality was significantly lower in the ivermectin group, especially in patients with severe pulmonary involvement.

ABORTION DRUG: The Biden administration stated that it “strongly disagrees” with a federal appeals court’s Wednesday ruling that ended mail-order abortion pills and placed other restrictions on the chemical abortion protocols. KJP says FAUXTUS’ DOJ wants to take it to the Supreme Court.

Of course they do. And of course they will. Let’s hope the Supremes pay close attention to the NINETEEN PAGES of prescribing information provided by the drug’s manufacturer (see pdf below). Here are just the highlights of what a woman who gets the drug by mail-order would not have a doctor screening her for or warning her about:

—- WARNING: SERIOUS AND SOMETIMES FATAL INFECTIONS OR BLEEDING —-

  • Before prescribing MIFEPREX, inform the patient about these risks. Ensure the patient knows whom to call and what to do if she experiences sustained fever, severe abdominal pain, prolonged heavy bleeding, or syncope, or if she experiences abdominal pain or discomfort or general malaise for more than 24 hours after taking misoprostol.
  • Advise the patient to take the MEDICATION GUIDE with her if she visits an emergency room or another healthcare provider who did not prescribe MIFEPREX, so that provider knows that she is undergoing a medical abortion.

——————————-CONTRAINDICATIONS—————————–
• Confirmed/suspected ectopic pregnancy or undiagnosed adnexal mass
• Chronic adrenal failure
• Concurrent long-term corticosteroid therapy
• History of allergy to mifepristone, misoprostol, or other prostaglandins
• Hemorrhagic disorders or concurrent anticoagulant therapy
• Inherited porphyria
• Intrauterine device (IUD) in place

——————————ADVERSE REACTIONS——————————
Most common adverse reactions (>15%) are nausea, weakness, fever/chills, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, and dizziness.

DETRANS: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/AqoOu5cp9SQ to hear a former trannie saying that no step in the transition process is ever enough. She now acknowledges that she has always been a female, but now she is a female with a deep voice, a flat chest, and no female sexual or reproductive parts. In essence, she was allowed to turn herself into a eunuch, something she will have to live with for the rest of her life.

EXORCIST: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/sOyvGRWZiN0 to hear Fr. Martins explain that your guardian angel was created specifically for you and you alone. I was surprised by this. I always figured after they finished up with one person, they’d be reassigned. This reminds me that I read somewhere else (forget where) that a person who has the gift of seeing guardian angels says they angels resemble us. That convicted me. I have always been dissatisfied with my face, but God gave it not only to me, but also to my angel?! Wow.

FREEDOM TOONS: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOFvGPGo1Qo [5:28] to hear the founder of Freedom Toons do a brilliant imitation of Jordan Peterson on Jordan Peterson’s daughter’s podcast as Jordan listens in. Watching this got me checking out Freedom Toons on YouTube. Good stuff! CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4fW9H5qRWoo to see Democrat Man solve all of a poor Black kid’s problems in a twinkling!

HAWAII: New evidence shows that faulty power lines built by Hawaiian Electric may have played a role in causing the Maui wildfire. Executives knew of wildfire risks but chose to focus on developing “renewable energy” programs rather than on prevention. Surviving victims of the tragedy filed suit against Hawaiian Electric this week. The megacompany’s members have donated heavily to Democratic political figures who favor “green” policies.

JOE IS DONE: CLICK https://twitter.com/RealMacReport/status/1692608005307850897 [1:41] to hear Jake Tapper say on CNN “Trump was right” and “Joe Biden was wrong.” They did let some Democrat give lip service to the lie that there is no evidence to tie Joe to Hunter’s business dealings. But still … I don’t believe this segment happened without the PTBs who actually run the Democratic Party putting the word out that they will no longer protect the Bidens.

RACISM: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/CFeQoqFxyks for a quick reality check from an intelligent, well educated, conservative Black woman.

Uncle Tom’s Cabin (or, Life Among the Lowly) was written by abolitionist Harriet Beecher Stowe in 1852. It was the best-selling novel in the U.S. in the 19th century and the second best-selling of all books, following the Bible. It is credited with helping fuel the abolitionist cause in the 1850s.

GRAMMY NOTES: My girls slept dorm style, so bed time prayers and chat was a special time for us. They learned early on that, if they asked me questions about God, I’d talk and talk and talk. They thought they were getting away with staying up a little later. I knew I was getting away with slipping critical faith formation into their little hearts and minds when they were in a receptive mood. Win! Win!

COCAINE: A Bloomberg reporter filed a FOIA on documents related to the Biden White House cocaine investigation. They admitted there were 19 pages of responsive document. They just weren’t going to give him any of them.

DEMOCRATS: CLICK https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1692517207543091613 [1:44] to hear the former Biden White House spox who is now yapping Dem nonsense on MSNBC … you know, so basically the same job, except now she doesn’t have to put up with people like Peter Doocy.

FEAR PORN: The Faux administration and its allies in the media are preparing to reinstate full COVID-19 lockdowns, beginning with masking mandates for TSA and airport employees reportedly as early as mid-September.

Border Patrol whistleblowers were told this rollout will be in tandem with the new Covid variant hysteria that the MSM has been reporting on this week. The new EG.5 coronavirus strain that recently began circulating in the United States and China has been classified by the WHO as a “variant of interest.” This is its lowest classification. The WHO stressed EG.5 does not seem to pose more of a threat to public health than other variants.

But never mind all that. Let’s frighten people some more so we can move on to MORE LOCKDOWNS and MASK MANDATES!

HAWAII: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U69VuQWQu4k [2:50] to hear a heartwarming story from the fires.

In not-so-heartwarming news, the guy who decided not to sound the sirens says he has no regrets. CLICK https://twitter.com/EndWokeness/status/1692527587371757886 [1:06] for his reasoning. But, yeah, he retiring … for his “health.” (Maybe so the people who lost loved ones don’t hunt him down and murder him.)

MICHIGAN: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktYR6tFLqxQ [4:11] to hear a 14-year-old give such a fiery speech at the Chippewa Valley School Board that the board members walked out rather than listen to her. From the comments: “It’s apparently okay for Mr. King’s wife to bully a 14 year old girl online. But, if that 14 year old girl shows up to a school board meeting to defend herself and her values the school board members run out of the room. Proving once again all bullies are cowards.” “How dare they to mention the word ‘respect’?

TRUMP: Most of the Republican presidential candidates will be appearing at the Fox News debate on Wednesday. Trump will be sitting for a one-on-one interview with the ousted Fox News host, Tucker Carlson. I know which one I’ll be watching.

GRAMMY NOTES: Also “i before e …” and “30 days has September …

CLASSICALLY CATHOLIC: I am excited about the home school co-op the Mascots will be attending this year. They will go once a week from 9:30am – 1:40pm.  CLICK https://www.classicallycatholicmemory.com/classically-catholic-memory-what-is-ccm-classically-catholic-memory/ if you’re interested in the curriculum. I love this part:

There is definitely a modern educational bias against having children memorize much of anything. This is unfortunate, as mastering a large amount of factual material over a broad range of subjects is exactly what should provide the ‘raw material’ for those higher order thinking skills as children mature. Understanding, analyzing, evaluating, comparing, contrasting, synthesizing, and clearly expressing oneself are certainly critical skills…but if the child has never mastered the core facts of a particular subject, what is there to analyze, or evaluate, or form and express a clear opinion on?”

FAUXTUS: House Oversight Chairman, James Comer, has revealed that, while he was VP, Joe Biden used a pseudonymous email address “Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov” from which he looped in Hunter on official meetings that were none of Hunter’s business.

He also reportedly used “Robin Ware” and “JRB Ware” for other covert communications. Robin probably comes from Joe Robinette Biden’s middle name; JRB is obviously his initials.

Comer is demanding the National Archives release non-redacted records of VP Biden’s pseudonymous email addresses in his talks with Hunter, Devon Archer, and other Biden business associates by August 31.

Coming on top of the entry in Hunter’s sister’s diary about showering with dear old dad, Hunter’s repeated use of “Pedo Peter” makes me wonder if Joe molested him as well.

HAWAII: CLICK https://twitter.com/jeremykauffman/status/1691856782031815133 [1:23] to hear the official who refused to release water to fight the fires on Maui that led to 106 deaths. A Hawaiian Studies major, Kaleo prefers a traditional, holistic “One Water” approach where water is revered, not used. According to him, water use requires “true conversations about equity.” Manuel eventually released water for fighting the fires, but not until after it had spread. It was not clear on Monday how much damage the fire did in the interim.

LIFE: On Wednesday, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi) issued several ruling regarding the abortion drug mifepristone (a.k.a. RU-486 and Mifeprex), but allowed it to remain authorized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The court’s ruling ended all mail orders of mifepristone, shortens the time period when women can take the pill from 70 days to 49 days into their pregnancy and requires patients to get a prescription for the drug from a doctor and to have three follow-up appointments in person.

The FDA approved the use of mail order for this dangerous drug back in December of 2021 which it had approved for use in ending early pregnancy in 2000. One Canadian woman reportedly died of sepsis while taking the drug during a clinical trial. By 2005, 4 American women had died of sepsis after taking it. Since then, it is believed at least fourteen women have died.

NORTH DAKOTA: Mohamad Barakat (37 ) was a Syrian national who was given asylum in 2012 and became a U.S. citizen in 2019. On July 14, he fatally shot Fargo Police Officer Jake Wallin (23) and wounded two other Fargo Police Officers, Andrew Dotas (28) and Tyler Hawes (22), as well as a female bystander named Karlee Koswick, and before being killed by FPD Officer Zach Robinson.

CLICK https://twitter.com/HarrisonKrank/status/1692207498411774183 [2:34] to see body cam footage. “Shots fired. Shots fired. We got a man with an AK-47 shooting at us … We’ve got three officers down. … Send everybody.

Authorities found three semi-auto rifles with 53 magazines, four handguns with at least 10 magazines, more than 1,800 .223-caliber bullets, three canisters filled with gasoline, two propane tanks filled with Tannerite, and a hand grenade. He had spray-painted the back windows of his car black so no one could see what he had inside.

Barakat’s search history revealed an interest in mass casualty events, explosive ammo, incendiary rounds, and how to cause certain injuries. The last article that appeared in his browser history was a KVRR article titled “Thousands enjoy first day of Downtown Fargo Street Fair.” At the time of the shooting, there were two large fairs going on in Fargo, the Downtown Fargo Street Fair and the Red River Valley Fair.

Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski said, “It is clear that this individual was a calculated, insidious, murderous individual dead set on hurting and killing as many people as possible. He had the intent, he had the commitment and he had the means.” Authorities said they don’t know why Barakat was planning the attack downtown or why he stopped to shoot at officers. They also said they have no reason to believe there is any on-going threat from other players.

So, have you heard any of this? Me neither. But hey, the Wrongs can’t milk much of anything about this story to feed their favorite narratives. They could use it to argue for more gun control, what with all the fire power Barakat had in his car. But then they’d have to admit a white cop saved a whole lot of people by killing an Arab with terrorist aspirations, which would go against their “All Cops Are Bastards” narrative and their “White Men Are Evil” narrative and their “Arab Men Are All Peace-loving Muslims” narrative.

I googled “mohamad barakat fargo” and got back the following from national news outlets:

  • July 15, 2022 = Breitbart, Newsmax, and CNN, one story each
  • July 16, 17, 19 and August 7, 2022 = Fox News
  • July 20, 2022 = NBC
  • August 17, 2022 = ABC, MSN, AOL after body cam footage was released

THE CHOSEN: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRpGce4nEFA [4:38] to hear how the woman who was healed after touching the “hem” (actually one of the tassels) of Jesus’ garment was fulfilling a messianic prophecy.

GRAMMY NOTES: Being one of my Littles (child alters) has definitely been traumatic. Imagine going to sleep in a crib in the pediatrics ward and waking up in the body of a grown woman with a husband, children, and grandchildren. One of them remarked, “At least we all still live in a green house.”
